Chapter 4
A typical morning at Sakura's house~
"Hmph!" Sakura tilted her head back, plopped down on the stool, and then tilted her head back at her older brother. "I've always walked like this, don't talk nonsense!"
Sakura sat on a stool that was a bit bigger than herself and glared fiercely at Touya.
However, her gaze was not intimidating at all; instead, it looked strangely adorable.
Touya laughed even louder.
"Aha! So you make that monstrous sound just by walking normally?"
Touya tilted his head, his handsome eyes crinkling into beady smiles.
"Right? A monster!"
"What?!"
Upon hearing Touya's words, Sakura suddenly became furious.
She suddenly stood up, pushing the stool far away.
"Duang!"
"Duang!"
"Duang!"
Sakura clenched her fists tightly, then strode heavily to Touya's side: "What did you just say? Sakura isn't a monster!"
Sakura angrily opened her dark green eyes, which shimmered under the light, and glared at Touya.
"Didn't you hear that? Why do you have to ask again?" Hearing Sakura's words, Touya not only didn't realize what was going on, but also muttered something with a grin.
"Aaaaaah!"
Sakura was so angry at Touya!
Her already chubby face became even more puffy.
Seeing that Touya showed no remorse, she immediately used her ultimate move.
"Yaaaaah, watch out for my Pegasus Meteor Fist!" Sakura swung her arm around wildly, ready to smash it at Touya.
However, she seemed to have overestimated her strength. Touya merely glanced at her indifferently, then used his other hand—the one not used for drinking coffee—to press down on Sakura's head. This time, no matter how much she struggled, she couldn't land a single punch on her.
"Phew!" Sakura had spent most of her time, but instead of causing any harm to Touya, she had exhausted herself.
"I'm so angry!"
If you can't move forward, then retreat!
Freed from the pressure of her rank, Sakura glared fiercely at Touya, then stomped her foot angrily.
"You, you, you!" Sakura was so angry that she couldn't speak for a long time.
"What do you mean, 'you'? Monster."
Touya held the coffee in one hand without even shaking it. He took a leisurely sip, looking completely nonchalant, and then glanced sideways at his younger sister.
"Aaaaaah!"
Sakura took a deep breath.
So what if he's a little taller than me? He's taking advantage of his height to bully me like this!
Looking at her older brother's smug expression, Sakura couldn't help but have a thought pop into her mind.
You dare wait until I grow up! By then, I'll be taller than a telephone pole, and I'll kick you down!
In Sakura's imagination, she has become a towering giant.
Meanwhile, his unlucky older brother was transformed into a tiny person, no bigger than a bean.
"Hahaha! I'm going to crush you!"
Sakura couldn't help but chuckle.
"Hmm? Say what you just said again?"
Touya narrowed his eyes as he looked at Sakura, that silly girl, who had actually spoken her mind.
"Huh? Ah! I didn't say anything!"
Sakura was interrupted by Touya's voice, snapping her out of her daze. Seeing the dangerous look in her older brother's eyes, she quickly ran back to her seat.
"Oops!" Sakura stuck her tongue out at Touya.
Just as Sakura and Touya were bickering, a gentle voice came from the open kitchen next door.
"You two are already so close so early in the morning."
"dad!"
Sakura smiled at Fujitaka Kinomoto, who was walking out of the open kitchen.
He was also wearing a pink plaid apron because he was cooking.
However, the pink color didn't look out of place on him at all; instead, it made his perfect figure appear even more graceful.
"The food is ready. Eat it while it's hot."
Sakura's dad placed the food he was carrying on the table.
Instantly, waves of delicious food aromas wafted towards Sakura, filling her nostrils.
"It smells so good!"
Sakura's eyes lit up when she saw the food in front of her.
"Let's dig in!"
Sakura started eating with gusto, munching away.
Touya, who was sitting opposite Sakura, twitched his lips when he saw his little sister eating in such an unladylike manner.
How shameful! So shameful!
He doesn't want to take this little monster with him when he goes out!
Although he was only wearing a high school uniform, Touya still had the air of a rich young master.
It possesses an elegance that also carries a touch of unbridled freedom.
He took a small sip, finishing the last mouthful of hot coffee, and immediately felt much warmer and more energetic.
"I'm leaving."
Touya stood up, picked up his schoolbag, and walked towards the door.
"Wait a moment."
Seeing that Touya was about to leave, Fujitaka took out the bento he had prepared for him and handed it to him.
"Arigato (Thank you)!"
Touya nodded to his father and then said, "Then I'll be going now."
"Okay, be careful on the road."
"Huh? You're leaving already?"
Sakura, who was eating rice, saw her older brother about to leave and immediately let out a howl.
"Wait for me! Wait for me!"
Sakura called out twice, but Touya didn't stop at all, showing no intention of stopping.
"hateful!"
Seeing this, Sakura frowned, and then unleashed another of her signature techniques—
Swallow it whole!
"Awoo awoo awoo!"
Sakura ate one food after another with her chopsticks, stuffing all the food on her plate into her mouth at once.
"Mmmmmm!"
Because she ate too fast, Sakura choked a little. She quickly patted her chest, then picked up the water that Fujitaka had prepared for her and gulped it down, which finally helped her swallow the food.
"Wait for me!"
Seeing that Touya had already left, Sakura quickly stood up and started getting her things.
"Are you full?"
Looking at his adorable daughter, who was in a great hurry, Fujitaka's eyes were filled with a gentle smile.
"Mmm, I'm full!"
Sakura nodded, then put the bento box that Fujitaka handed her into her schoolbag.
Immediately afterwards, she grabbed her hat, put it on, and ran to the door to change into her roller skates.
"Damn it, he ran so fast!" She said angrily when she ran out and found that Touya had already disappeared.
"Dad, I'm leaving!" She stood up and called out to Fujitaka, who was watching her from the window.
"Okay, be careful on the road."
Following her father's instructions, Sakura darted off like lightning, chasing after Touya's bicycle.
