Chapter 317

"Here it comes!"

The departing figure of Duanmu Yan became increasingly blurry in the man's eyes.

"Uncle, do you know him?"

Who is he?

The man gently waved the palm-leaf fan in his hand and smiled faintly.

"Him?"

"Just a ramen cook."

Chapter 300 Author's Closing Remarks

Sorry, I originally planned to finish writing my author's reflections the day after the book ended.

I've been busy these past few days, so it's been a bit delayed.

I went hiking on Wugong Mountain with my buddies, and after the whole climb, my legs felt like they didn't exist anymore.

Just like Balu, who was chased for ten kilometers by General Duanmu, he was drenched in sweat.

Let's get back to the main topic.

The first book evoked many emotions.

I never imagined I would be able to accomplish this feat.

60 words, that's equivalent to all the essays I've written since I was a child (hehe).

I didn't originally plan to write this much, but I didn't expect so many readers to support me. I am extremely grateful.

Without you all, this book might not have lasted this long.

The author is flattered and humbled by the 9.0 rating this book has received, and thanks everyone for their support.

Thank you to every reader for watching, commenting, supporting, and sending gifts.

I heard you thank me, because you bring warmth to all four seasons.

When I finished writing it, I felt a strange sense of loss, perhaps because I had poured too much into this book.

I reread the first three books before writing this one.

I was writing and looking at the text at the same time.

Which one to write, which one to watch.

What I think about most every day is how the plot should develop further.

This book is primarily for humor, so there are some parts that are out of character (OC), which is something some readers have pointed out, and I agree with that.

You can not have it both ways.

I have read every single book review carefully.

I feel very happy every time I see positive reviews from readers. Thank you for your recognition.

There are generally a few reasons for low ratings.

One view is that the author is a cloud, portraying General Duanmu as too extraordinary.

When the third installment of the series was first published, the author, then in sixth grade, would go to his classmate's house every day to read it with him.

I reviewed it several times afterward.

I reviewed it again before writing this novel, and it turned out to be a mess (sad).

Secondly, it's due to changes in some character relationships, such as Anna's.

That's true, I admit it.

Anna was supposed to know Xu Tingfei, but the book says they didn't.

As mentioned at the beginning, some character relationships in the book will be changed, but it won't have a significant impact.

Many readers have expressed their opinions on this, and I apologize for that, but they probably would have given up on the book long ago because of it.

┭┮﹏┭┮

These are roughly the two reasons, and there are also some inexplicable negative reviews from people who read the content in less than half an hour.

For example, the Shura Armor arrived too slowly, and Duanmu's personality was too straightforward...

There's also General Duanmu, who was threatened after his friend was arrested, which is consistent with Duanmu's personality.

The villain should die along with his friends.

It's hard to give a proper evaluation.

Seeing these negative reviews made me feel terrible, and I even dreamt about them flashing before my eyes at night.

I accept negative reviews, as they are due to the author's lack of skill.

But those arbitrary reasons for giving bad reviews made me feel so frustrated.

If it's a malicious negative review, just call the author an idiot, please don't do this (crying).

However, there are still readers who like this book who have been encouraging the author, which is why I have been able to persevere until now.

I'm really happy to see how much you all like this book.

About the people.

Of all the characters, Balu is the one I'm most satisfied with.

The comedic relief in this book.

Fear of death, betraying teammates, General Duanmu's sensor, etc.

So we left him for last, which is what many readers wanted to see.

As for the extras, well, that depends on my mood.

If a brilliant idea pops into my head sometimes, I'll write a few chapters about it.

When will the next book be published, and what genre will it be?

I'll probably start the new book next month, but I haven't decided on the genre yet.

It will definitely have some comedic elements.

After all, the purpose of life is to be happy.

Babies who want to offer suggestions can join our fan group.

The author reads every single one of them.

The words have been spoken.

Dear readers, see you next time!

Extra Chapter: Ten Years, Ten Years

"Again, again!"

Inside the octagon, a boy of about eighteen years old, wearing boxing gloves, had a fierce look on his face, and his clothes were already soaked with sweat.

On the other side was a muscular, fierce-looking bald man who was exchanging punches with him.

"puff--"

The bald man was punched in the chest and staggered back several steps before quickly raising his hand.

"Wait, stop hitting me. Do you remember? I even treated you to a meal."

Emperor Yan was filled with emotion; this kid was even more ferocious than his father.

He's only eighteen years old, yet he can already overpower him in physical combat. Is he even human?

Thinking back to when he was only three years old, he began to be trained by that group of armored imps and Duanmu Yan, and of course, he also received his own training.

But they didn't force him to do this; he would never bully a child.

Duanmu Xuan, that brat, asked them to do all of this himself; he's a complete freak.

Other kids this age should be staying home watching Peppa Pig.

But he did something else entirely, dragging them into fights all day long, like he was addicted.

What's even more terrifying is that when he was five years old, he was able to summon Nava, which is undoubtedly bizarre.

Later on, he was even able to summon Tsunami, Tonado, and Kurevo.

Then came Xingtian, Feiying, Jingang, Yanlong, Fengying, Heixi, Xue'ao, and Dihu.

He can summon all armors except the ultimate armor. Is this really a child that a human can give birth to?

Didn't Xing Tian and the others need the genes of the Sun, Moon, and Stars? And didn't Yan Long and the other five need the bloodlines of the Five Elements?

So he can summon all the armor so recklessly? Just because he's Duanmu Yan's son? Or does he simply have everything he needs?

Unfortunately...

When he was eight years old, Duanmu Yan disappeared without a trace.

That day, a giant hand appeared in the sky above Nanbo City and reached out to grab Duanmu Yan without pausing for a moment.

Without hesitation, Duanmu Yan combined several sets of ultimate armor and swung her sword at the palm.

The moment the hand was shattered, a strange black hole appeared in the air.

Various bizarre creatures appeared and disappeared within the black hole, their faces filled with crazed grins.

Then a vertical pupil emitting an eerie purple light was imprinted on the entire sky of Nambo City. At that moment, everyone in the world saw that vertical pupil.

When that vertical pupil closed its eye, Duanmu Yan never appeared again.

At first, everyone thought that Duanmu Yan had gone to another world to eliminate darkness and would be back soon.

Time has slowly passed, one year, three years, five years, and now it is the tenth year.
