Shinjo rubbed his temples as he walked into his dorm. He was going to see Amuro Tooru tomorrow to discuss their future plans. He wasn't planning on going to space for the time being, at least not with Daigo. Going with him would inevitably lead to trouble sooner or later.

Three years later, at the Carlo base on the far side of the moon.

"So beautiful," Xiaolan exclaimed, gazing at the starry sky outside.

"It's beautiful. By the way, where's Shinjo?" Kogoro Mouri asked, looking at his son-in-law.

"That guy is in the hospital room," Shinichi said with a hint of helplessness, wearing his uniform from the Carlo Base. "It seems that his health has been very poor for the past two years because of the various artificial organs and bones implanted in his body. Fortunately, the base is now complete, so he shouldn't need to run around anymore."

"So you've decided to work here from now on?"

“Hmm.” Shinichi shrugged. “Those people haven’t given up their pursuit of my blood, so they had no choice but to come to the moon to hide.”

"This is really troublesome." Kogoro Mouri stared at the starry sky outside and stopped talking. He knew that this might be the best outcome for Shinichi.
