Chapter 486

The War Has Just Begun

In the guild hall, Mavis held the glass bottle containing Vaal.

Mavis observed for only a moment before tossing it to Silver, freezing it completely.

The extremely cold icy demonic energy instantly spread along the bottle, freezing the entire glass bottle and the miniature mechanical puppet inside into an indestructible block of deep blue ice, completely severing any possibility of self-destruction or consciousness transmission.

The blonde girl clapped her hands, her expression instantly returning to that of the solemn and aloof first commander.

She issued a general mobilization order to the entire guild via online communication.

"The crisis in Magnolia has been resolved. Now departing to support other battlefields!"

"receive!"

A unified and resounding response boomed across Magnolia!

On the street, the Fairy Tail main force, having assembled, quickly split into two groups.

Erza and Mirajane led a team to the southern battlefield to support Mermaid Heel and Snake Princess Scale.

Laxus led a team to the northern battlefield to support Sabertooth and Blue Pegasus.

Before the holographic sand table, Mavis's gaze swept across the entire border map of the Kingdom of Fiore, her crisp voice echoing in the hearts of each team leader.

"Currently, only one of the Twelve Shields has been definitively eliminated. The one that threw sand is still missing, and the one that creates illusions of the dead has escaped. Everyone, please be careful."

Mavis ignored Brandish, who was just slacking off in the guild.

The green-haired girl who was fast asleep on the bench covered with a tablecloth was clearly no longer within the scope of combat power calculations.

Mavis calculated that the disparity in the scale of this war was enormous, even more dangerous than the trade wars she had faced back then.

The Alvarez Empire has a military force of millions, and at least nine of the Twelve Aegis, each possessing the power to destroy a nation, have yet to appear, along with Zeref, the dark mage emperor who reigns over the western continent.

The gap between the two sides is too large to be bridged by tactics alone.

If it's just a contest of superior combat strength, there's still hope of winning.

Now we can only hope that Zeref hasn't lost interest in this game; otherwise, if the entire army of the Western Continent were to launch a full-scale attack, we would be unable to resist.

Mavis snapped out of her thoughts, turned to look at Brandish lying on the bench, and gave her a sly smile. The others followed her and gathered around.

The original little loli, with her two delicate white hands behind her back, slowly approached with light steps, a wicked smile on her face that sent chills down one's spine.

Uru and Yin stood on either side of each other with perfect understanding, arms crossed, looking down at the bench with an aura as cold as two deadly guardians.

Brandish, who was pretending to be asleep, suddenly shivered and opened her eyes to find three men with ill intentions surrounding her.

Startled, she quickly hugged the small tablecloth she was wearing and shrank into the corner of the bench.

"What are you doing?! Hey, aren't you the Light Guild?"

"Don't worry, we won't mistreat the prisoners or anything, we're just having a chat."

Mavis rubbed her little hands together, her eyes crinkling into two crescent moons as she smiled, looking every bit like a little fox about to steal a chicken.

Brandish retreated repeatedly, sensing that Fairy Tail was not a good place.

This is no legitimate guild of light; it's clearly a den of bandits!

Mavis blinked her innocent big eyes and coaxed her softly.

"Don't be afraid, I just want to get some information, I won't do anything to you."

Upon hearing Mavis's words, she refused without hesitation.

Brandish turned his head away, his attitude as resolute as a stone.

Although she didn't want to fight, she would never betray the empire's secrets.

Mavis squinted at her for a moment.

Those big, bright green eyes seemed to be able to see through the deepest secrets of people's hearts.

She didn't really want to get information from Brandish; it was just a test.

To probe her purpose in coming to Fairy Tail.

It seems that they really just find it troublesome and don't want to participate in the war.

This has happened before, but none of these situations have resulted in anyone ending up in the local camp.

This girl's thought process is clearly different from that of a normal mage.

Mavis's smile faded, and she sighed mysteriously.

"Fine, since Riyao has already planted a curse on you, you can just stay out of the way."

The little girl's eyes were so sincere, they couldn't be more sincere, and they even carried a hint of sympathy.

This terrified Brandish, who began to examine herself for anything strange, but no matter how she checked, she couldn't find anything suspicious, which only made her more panicked.

The more undetectable something is, the more terrifying it is!

Brandish was completely taken aback and jumped up from the bench.

"Hey! You're kidding me, right?!"

"You saw what happened to that robot."

Mavis pointed seriously to the glass bottle that had been frozen into ice by silver.

After saying that, he ignored Brandish and returned to the map projection to continue studying the battle.

Brandish squatted there, questioning the meaning of life.

Hugging his knees, he huddled in the corner, looking dejected. He kept touching his arms and his chest, his mind filled with the image of Val crashing earlier.

What kind of Guild of Light is this?! This Ishgar Council is so unreliable!

Riyao, far away on the eastern battlefield, naturally heard the whole story, and he smiled helplessly.

He heard everything that was happening on the voice channel.

There was no strange curse involved; it was simply meant to scare Brandish away from making any rash moves.

As expected, Mebis is black when cut open; the founders are all incredibly cunning.

On the high cliffs of the eastern border, the violent sea winds made the grass and trees sway wildly.

Riyao stood out awkwardly as he watched the sunrise with four old men.

The blond youth, dressed in a flashy Hawaiian t-shirt, looked like a tourist who had wandered onto the wrong set among a group of veteran, top-tier mages dressed in heavy robes.

Riyao yawned widely and stretched lazily.

"I'm starting to regret coming here. It feels a bit strange to spend this morning with four old men enjoying the sea breeze. Is it too late for me to leave now?"

The tall, thin, white-haired old man standing at the front suddenly turned around, his temple veins throbbing.

"You brat, you come and go as you please, do you think this is your home?! Fairy Tail just got revived and you're already causing trouble."

Sunrise was verbally abused by the current Speaker of the Council, Hayberion.

The vampire mage was so angry that his beard trembled and spittle flew everywhere.

The old man next to him, Warold, who looked like a tree stump, whistled and looked away, seemingly indifferent.

Jura chuckled dryly, touching his bald head.

Urufkhim looked like he was about to come up and say a few words.

Fairy Tail has always had a stable reputation, consistently being synonymous with causing trouble.

These troublemakers just reorganized the guild, and in the blink of an eye, they attracted an army of a million men from an entire continent. It's no wonder that the old bones in the council have blood pressure soaring.
