It's finished.

I have so much to say, and my feelings are complicated. Let's start with the word count.

The book was first published on December 4, 2024, and it has now reached April 9, 2026. In just over a year, a total of 2.6 million words have been written. Throughout the entire book, I have taken no more than ten days off.

I am very satisfied with the word count and updates of this book.

Thinking back, every time I asked for leave, readers would question whether I was going to cut the book. I always found it quite amusing.

I update so consistently, write so many words, and take so few days off, yet people still question me. To be honest, it really hurts. I feel that with my consistent daily updates, I should have gained some trust by now.

However, there are indeed some readers who trust me to some extent.

Over the past year, some readers have followed the book since its inception, some have read it from its initial launch to the present, and some only discovered the book later and have been reading it ever since.

Thanks to everyone's continued participation, this book has been able to reach where it is today.

Although some people left halfway through, whether they genuinely stopped reading or were saving the book to finish and start reading, they were all part of this journey.

During the annual meeting in Hangzhou in January, my editor, Garlic, asked me how many words I planned to write for the book. I said three million words.

Because I have many plots and stories that I had already planned out back then.

The Alien Empera will go to the King's team and be sniped by the Insect King, turning into a crashed prisoner. Then, with the most domineering and proud posture, he will show people what the eternal kingly demeanor is.

The original Ultraman will be with Father of Ultra and King of Ultra, forming a trinity, and go to a particularly advanced world.

When Ultraman was about to die, Father of Ultra, who was healing, suddenly appeared. And when Father of Ultra was about to die, King of Ultra, Old Deng, suddenly appeared. Just thinking about that scene is hilarious.

Kasa originally planned to first go to the Kamen Rider world where the aftermath of the battle of Perpetua caused an accident, more than twenty Earths were superimposed, and Oma and Kurokami both crashed, to become the old man behind Mago's back.

The situations of Shinji Ikari and Lu Mingfei were originally planned to be written in detail beforehand; I think it would be quite amusing to see two famous losers together.

Babar will go to Garo, Ace and Yapool will team up, and some Ultras like Cosmos who didn't have much screen time before will also have their own special appearances. Among them, Yuna Yuki will be a hero and Puella Magi Madoka Magica.

As for Marvel, it has to be mentioned only briefly from the beginning because the world-building is too vast and there are too many characters. If it were to be written in detail, it would require at least another 500,000 to 600,000 words.

However, no matter how much more story there was originally, it's all over now.

The reason is simple: I couldn't hold on any longer.

I have a storyline and a clear plan, but my body can't take it anymore.

Since last month, my writing efficiency has been terribly low. It takes me three or even four hours to write just two thousand words, and it gets slower and slower each day.

When I'm typing, I feel nauseous and vomit. Even if I don't do anything else, like playing games or watching videos, and just open the author backend and put my hands on the keyboard to type, I can only maintain the posture of typing for an hour, but I can't type a single word.

We've reached our limit.

If I force myself to continue writing, I don't know if I can manage to reach three million words. But regardless of whether I can or not, I definitely won't start a new book after this one is finished. I will definitely be afraid of and hate writing, so I can only finish this book here.

I want to have more encounters with you all, so I'll put this book on hold for now.

Although there are some regrets, it was already wonderful.

I can say with a clear conscience that I wrote this book.

The initial intention behind this book can be summarized in one sentence: "There will be no more tears of sorrow in the world."

In recent years, Ultraman TV series have indeed been quite poor and boring. However, at least they have been sticking to one point: Ultraman is the savior of love and life, which is also the original intention and origin of the Ultraman series.

In some ways, I'm a relic of the past; I'm a staunch supporter of Ultraman.

In the original TV series, the original was like a god. The number of times he was in a tough battle and needed the Science Patrol's help could be counted on one hand. Most of the time, the original effortlessly killed the enemy.

I really like it this way.

The bond between humans and Ultraman is great, but I don't think we should weaken Ultraman by constantly making him suffer setbacks just to show off that bond. When encountering monsters, he should need human assistance.

Because if that were the case, would Ultraman still be able to save everything? Probably not.

Therefore, in this book, I only mention human assistance and the human-Ultraman bond during the Three Heroes timeline, the Nexus timeline, and the DC final battle.

My principle, which I have adhered to from beginning to end, is the necessity of Ultraman's existence.

There are some things that only Ultraman can do, and some enemies that only Ultraman can defeat.

Although some people may feel that it becomes a bit repetitive in the later stages, isn't that good?

The fundamental theme is a giant of light who saves everything.

The process is beautiful, and the result will inevitably be beautiful as well. No matter how monotonous and repetitive it may seem, if even the real world can be this beautiful, that would be the happiest thing.

I think everyone must also like these beautiful things, which is why we've seen this much, right?

This book is also a bit of a shame, as in the end, there was no role for Cosmos and the others. And looking back, there should have been a story about Kasa and the Ultra Brothers in the early part of the book.

However, I am already very satisfied.

I smiled as I typed this closing statement.

My personal favorite part of this book is all of Casa's storyline: Belial's release from prison and his rescue of the Three Musketeers' timeline, the transformation of the tyrant and T.A., Eddie's punishment of school bullying, and the characterization of Batman.

The story of Ya no Takeshi was something I had already come up with very early on, around February or March of 25, and I had been working on it ever since.

Generally speaking, writing about anti-bullying doesn't gain the approval of others; instead, it makes people wonder if the author actually supports bullying.

But I wrote it anyway.

Because I think that if it were Ultraman, if it were Takeshi Yagami, he could definitely do it.

The results were a relief; everyone's feedback was very positive, and things went smoothly for both sides.

As for Batman, my personal favorite part is Bruce's disguise as Luthor at the end of the first chapter, and his interactions with Constantine.

My favorite parts of Kassadin are probably his scenes with Shinji in Evangelion, as well as the parts of the few short stories I created, especially the part where he went to create the star of Little Fuchu after becoming the Ultimate Ultra.

I think Ultraman should be like this: he will never forget the pain of others, and he will definitely make amends as long as he has the ability.

By the way, after being knocked away by Gatanothor, Lao Dai went to the No Game No Life movie. I've always wanted to write about it, but I haven't had the chance.

This book, which has been serialized for a year and a half, is the longest single-volume serialization I've ever done, and also the longest I've ever written. I dedicate it to you, and to myself.
