"Heavenly Fire, unsheathe!"
The raging flames surged forth like a tidal wave, releasing light and heat comparable to a star, completely engulfing the world in Anan's eyes.
......
In a burst of dazzling white light, Yanan slowly opened his eyes.
This is a pure white space, without any superfluous decorations.
Besides him, there stood another figure whose form and appearance were indistinct; his body seemed to be forged from light, and his voice was gentle and calm.
"We meet again, Anan."
"It's you?" Yanan was slightly taken aback.
“When I first bestowed the concept of [Savior] upon you, I said I would wait for you at the end of this road.” The voice of the light and shadow carried a hint of laughter. “I’m glad you’ve finally made it this far.”
"Along the way, you have faced countless hardships and dangers and challenged many powerful enemies, but none of this has stopped you. You have saved many worlds and many people—though they may not have realized it themselves."
"Your will has been recognized by me. Now, take this power and go save your own world."
......
Anan slowly woke up and suddenly felt a soft touch under his head, and a familiar fragrance wafted into his nostrils.
"Sister Wang?"
Morgan was looking down at him. She had removed her veil at some point, revealing a delicate and flawless face, and her lake-blue eyes were full of tenderness.
“It’s all over.” She stretched out her slender fingers and gently stroked Yanan’s disheveled hair. “You should go home now.”
“Yes.” A long-lost, bright smile appeared on Yanan’s face. “I can finally go home.”
"If it's convenient, could you take me with you?"
A female voice came from inside, and both Yanan and Morgan were startled, turning their heads to look in the direction from which the voice came.
A tall figure approached from a distance. Upon seeing that familiar face, Anan's eyes widened instantly, and he blurted out, "Sesshouin Kiara!?"
How is that possible? Even Goetia is dead, how could this guy possibly survive?
"You seem quite surprised?" Sesshouin Kiara laughed cheerfully. Unlike her usual sexy and alluring demeanor, her smile now gave off a pure feeling. "I am indeed dead, but it is not me who died, but my demonic half that died."
"A demonic half-body?" Anan looked at her in surprise. "Wait, you're not a [beast] anymore?"
"The evil of humanity symbolized by the Demonic Bodhisattva is the [NegaSaver]. To cleanse it, it must be done by someone who truly possesses the qualifications of a [Savior]," Sesshouin Kiara laughed. "That's why I traveled through many worlds until... I met you."
"So, this is your reason for helping me?" Yanan raised an eyebrow slightly. "You want to improve my [Savior] aptitude before taking action to kill you."
“That’s how it is,” Sesshouin Kiara laughed. “That’s why I secretly contacted Goetia and asked him to make his move ahead of time. I believe that as long as you kill him, you should be able to raise [Savior] to the highest level.”
Anan's eyes twitched; he hadn't expected that even Goetia was just a pawn in Sesshouin's hands.
As expected, his judgment was correct; this woman was never someone to be trifled with!
"So you did all this just to abandon your identity as a demonic bodhisattva?" he asked in a deep voice.
“If you were in my shoes, you would understand why I’m so persistent.” Sesshouin Kiara shook her head. “[Beasts] are enemies of civilization, but the existence of [Beasts] itself depends on civilization. If one day civilization really perishes, what will become of [Beasts]?”
"[Beasts] are indeed very powerful beings, but they are nothing more than puppets without their own will. They are born to destroy civilizations, but they rarely realize that they will also die after the destruction of civilizations. I am unwilling to accept that fate, so I chose to rebel."
Yanan frowned slightly: "Then why did you appear in front of me? And what did you mean by saying 'take me with you' earlier?"
"Ah, to prevent my demonic half from reviving again, I'll have to stay by your side for a while longer." Sesshouin Kiara clapped her hands, a bright smile on her face. "You probably won't mind, will you?"
Yanan's face darkened: "No, I mind."
"Hehe, that's not up to you." Sesshouin Kihara let out a pleasant laugh, and her figure gradually disappeared. "I will come to find you in person in a while, so look forward to it."
Yanan's face instantly turned as black as the bottom of a pot.
"As expected of you, Anan." Morgan's indifferent voice came from behind. "You brought back a [beast] after just one trip. Your abilities are getting better and better."
"Sister Wang, this really has nothing to do with me! You heard it yourself, that guy is the one who's trying to pin this on me!" Yanan quickly protested, trying to clear his name.
Morgan snorted coldly, his figure gradually turning into light and disappearing: "I will tell Lily and Ned about this. You should think carefully about how to explain it to them."
Yanan scratched his head, looked up at the clear sky, and let out a long, helpless sigh:
"What kind of mess is this...?"
