Author's Closing Remarks

There are many things I want to say to my friends here.

First of all, I must apologize.

Without a doubt, this book had a terrible ending.

The core problem lies in the initial design of this book.

I've mentioned to my fellow book lovers in the group that initially, I only planned to write around 600,000 to 700,000 words for this book, so I didn't intend to suppress the protagonist's strength too much from the beginning. I even came up with the ridiculous setting of 'sss-1999'.

The appearance of a major boss like the 'Scorpion of the Secret Realm' earlier is also due to this reason.

Because of its existence, if the protagonist's side is not strong enough, they simply cannot win.

My initial thought was that since the book was only 600,000 to 700,000 words long, I would just finish it once the power level reached its final stage.

As a result, the more fun you have in the early stages, the more you'll need to "pay back the debt" later.

Especially given the extended length of the book.

The truth is: towards the end of the story... the main characters, especially the Traveler twins, had a normal combat strength that was enough to rival a level 6 who was above level 8.

Does this mean that anyone else, even Ota, the 'strongest in the city,' still has any reason to exist?

Actually, I have many other interesting personal responses in mind.

For example, the first Genshin Impact character, Xiao, had an interaction with the 'heretic' Winnie and said the cool line, "If you encounter any difficulties, call my name." In the end, he really did save the dragon girl.

For example, the little episodes about Klee and Loki's Familia taking care of the baby weren't originally limited to just a few chapters.

There are also interactions between Yae no Miko and Haruhime, interactions between the two lovable characters Araki Ichito and Ganesha... and so on.

Ultimately, all of them were scrapped due to imperfections in their initial design.

It turns out... my favorite story is still Danganronpa.

After leaving the world of DanMachi, my motivation to write about other worlds became pitifully small... it was even a torment.

But I have a problem with writing: when I don't like something, the quality of it is extremely poor.

Lately, I've felt like I'm just writing a diary.

Especially the Demon Slayer arc, which has absolutely no plot twists or turns.

Therefore, this quality of writing is no longer suitable for charging a fee.

I spent the whole afternoon thinking about it and made a decision.

In other words: first, set the book to 'complete' status, and then... continue updating with free chapters that don't require payment.

At this point, we can slowly write some side stories, or write about Ling Shu's experiences more than three thousand years ago.
