Chapter 580

Meanwhile, the demons of hell were busy slacking off.

Chapter 580 Meanwhile, the demons of hell were busy slacking off.
Leiming City University, dormitory building.

When Ilana returned from the classroom and opened the door, a dry, warm breeze rushed in, instantly dispelling the chill that had settled on her.

She neatly arranged her slightly muddy boots on the wooden shoe rack by the door, took off her scarf and wool coat, and hung them neatly on the coat hook not far from the radiator. Then she pressed the brass button on the wall.

With a soft "hiss," a flame ignited inside the glass lampshade fixed to the wall, instantly illuminating the 30-square-meter apartment with its orange glow.

It is said that it was also Prince Colin's invention. It is called a gas lamp, and it is now found throughout the streets and alleys of Thunder City.

Unlike the magic lamps inside the mage tower, it does not rely on any magic or rune power, nor does it consume expensive magic crystals.

Instead, it simply utilizes the combustible gas produced by the thermal decomposition of coal in the absence of air, and then transports it to households through iron pipes.

What a brilliant idea!

Compared to magic crystals, coal is much cheaper, and even ordinary people can easily afford it.

And this is just the tip of the iceberg of the city's countless wonders.

Ilana threw herself onto the soft single bed, and looking at the wood grain on the ceiling, a faint smile unconsciously appeared on her lips.

Although the dormitory was small, it was incredibly cozy. Heating and hot water were available 24 hours a day, and the private bathroom allowed her to say goodbye to the embarrassment of the school's public bathhouse. The small kitchen in the corner even allowed her to make herself a cup of hot cocoa late at night.

Most importantly, this is a single dormitory room.

She no longer had to squeeze into a dark and damp cubicle with a group of roommates with very different personalities, as she did at Xuebang.

She had no complaints about her roommates, but she preferred the tranquility of being alone and the idea that everyone needs some space for privacy.

Although only a week has passed since Ilana arrived, she has already fallen hopelessly in love with this place.

This second home, personally prepared by her dearest mentor, His Highness Colin, for his students, is an academic sanctuary called Thunder City University!

The past week felt like a dream to Ilana as well.

She originally thought she would continue her unfinished studies here, but to her surprise, His Highness Colin directly gave her a letter of appointment, hiring her to be a lecturer in the mathematics department and magic theory courses.

This was the most incredible thing for her; she had just gained Professor Hector's approval and gone from a prospective student to a full-fledged magic apprentice.

In her mind, the lecturers should at least be at the level of teaching assistants, and she was not qualified at all.

However, when she confided her anxieties to Prince Colin, the young prince simply smiled and said to her—

"The motto of Thunder City University is 'Those who are accomplished are teachers.' As long as your knowledge is recognized by another person, then the podium belongs to you."

"Don't be nervous. Back in the Great Sage's Tower, you did give me lectures before. It's just that now I need to pay you a salary."

That lighthearted joke eased some of her nervousness. And when she stepped onto the stage with a "let's give it a try" attitude, the result was beyond her expectations.

As His Highness Colin said, there is not much difference between here and Xuebang; the students sitting in the classrooms have the same thirst for knowledge.

Moreover, unlike the magic apprentices at Xuebang, the students here value knowledge itself more than titles and lineage.

While comparison does exist, it's relatively less severe. Even commoners without any magical abilities can earn respect through outstanding achievements in fields unrelated to magic.

This is something she feels most deeply about.

Her students did not look down on her because of her youth, and this feeling of being respected and needed was something she had never experienced before at Xuebang.

"...Oh right, letter."

As Ilana's thoughts wandered, she suddenly remembered something and abruptly got out of bed.

She sat down at the desk by the window, took a piece of soft stationery from the drawer, and dipped her quill pen in ink.

After a moment's thought, she wrote the beginning.

To my dearest friend, Miss Ophelia Castellion:

By the time you read this letter, we will have arrived safely in Thunder City.

Although the challenges along the way were more intense than we had anticipated, the Atrume withstood all the tests, just as we all firmly believed.

Now, the only thing I can't stop worrying about is you. I wonder how you've been? Was your journey home smooth? Has your father arranged those tedious tea parties for you again? And... have those old fogies at Xuebang made things difficult for you because of our departure?

Please be sure to tell me in your reply that although there is nothing I can do about it now, I am willing to share some of your burdens, even if it is just a little bit of your sadness.

When they left the Mage Tower, the Truth set off first, while Ophia left after them.

Ilana wasn't sure how long it would take for the letter to reach the Holy City, or whether Ophia had returned home safely, but she had to tell her friend everything that was happening here.

"...Please rest assured about us. We are doing very well, even more so than any of us expected."

His Highness Colin personally greeted us, with the local rulers and dignitaries by his side, and I am still flattered by the attention he received.

With his help, we moved into the dormitory at Thunder City University. Although it wasn't as majestic as the Great Sage's Tower, it had its own cozy atmosphere that belonged to us.

What impressed me most was the locals' hospitality.

I had assumed that the people living in the borderlands would be as rude as the bards described, but after spending time with them, I found that they were no different from the citizens of the Ottoman Empire; they were all very kind people.

What pleases me most is the extremely open academic atmosphere here, free from sectarianism and rigid hierarchies. I think this is perhaps because the university is relatively new, and everyone is full of enthusiasm for exploring the unknown.

By the way, the food here is also very delicious. The wide variety of sausages and various cabbage stews make me have a great appetite every day.

Also, there are many novel and interesting things here.

What impressed me most was the "department store" in front of the train station.

It was a huge glass building, filled with a dazzling array of goods, which anyone could freely choose from.

I bet if you were thrown in there, you could probably wander around inside all day.

By the way, you probably don't know what a train station is.

Please allow me to keep you in suspense in this letter. Once you arrive here, you will surely be amazed by the creativity of the locals!

As she wrote this, Ilana paused briefly, gently biting the end of the quill pen, her delicate eyebrows furrowing slightly.

The following content may be somewhat sensitive, but as Ophia's best friend, she felt obligated to issue a warning—

We must be careful of Eileen.

She dipped the pen in the ink again, and the nib made a scratching sound on the paper.

In addition, I must give special mention to the local ruler, Duke Edward Campbell. He was a very visionary lord, and his support for scientific endeavors was astonishing. Professor James Wally took an immediate liking to him, and the two reportedly talked for a long time.

Of course, what interests me even more is his sister—Eileen Campbell. She is the holder of the Utawarerumono, the hero whom everyone hopes to win, and the most dazzling diamond in Campbell's crown.

I cannot describe her beauty to you in words in this letter. In short, her silver hair and emerald green eyes made a very deep impression on me the moment we met.

But her strengths are clearly not limited to that. Her courage and intelligence are praised even by His Highness Colin, and she never acts superior to anyone.

Few people can earn the respect of both nobles and commoners at the same time, but she is definitely one of them.

That's why I can't help but feel worried. Her relationship with Prince Colin seems... to be more than just ordinary?
Dear Ophia, I wish you were here too.

I have so much to share with you, but there's so little that can fit in this letter. I can only say what I think is important.

Also, please take care of yourself, and I look forward to your reply.

—Your forever dearest friend, Ilana Octavia

After writing the last punctuation mark, Ilana let out a long breath, carefully folded the letter, and put it into an envelope.

"I hope you receive it soon."

The hot breath exhaled condensed into white mist the moment it approached the window, blurring the street scene outside.

Ilana reached out and wiped the fog off the glass.

Just then, she suddenly noticed that the tiny white particles were slowly dancing in the light of the street lamp.

Ilana paused for a moment, looked out the window at the sky that was not yet completely dark, and a gentle smile gradually appeared on her face.

"It's snowing..."

According to Prince Colin's theory, it should be snowing in the Holy City by now.

I wonder if, at this very moment, Orphea, far away in her hometown, is also gazing up at the same sky...

……

In mid-November, the increasingly fierce north wind finally whitened the rooftops of Thunder City.

Colin Estate welcomed its first snowfall of the winter. Large, fluffy snowflakes fell on the evergreen hedges in the courtyard, giving the estate a serene and tranquil feel.

In the living room, just a wall away, a slowly burning fireplace was emitting a warm, orange glow.

Although many trendy citizens had already started using gas stoves or even cheaper boilers for heating, Colin himself, who invented this novelty of gas, was not in a hurry to enjoy the technological innovation.

The same goes for his sister.

Vivian lay in the warmest spot in front of the fireplace, her smooth purple hair cascading like silk across the expensive carpet, her legs dangling behind her back, swaying back and forth like a cat wagging its white tail.

At that moment, she was holding a novel she had borrowed from Theresa, the sound of turning pages mingling with the lazy breathing of the fireplace.

It's obvious—

Miss Vivian was getting really excited and started uttering some unintelligible whispers.

"Kukuku...Are we finally getting to the most exciting part?!"

"Uh-huh???"

Vivian's face suddenly turned as red as a ripe apple, as if she had seen something blasphemous, and her legs, which were raised in mid-air, involuntarily tensed up.

Perhaps out of curiosity about how the author with cerebral palsy planned to continue the story, her trembling index finger turned another page...

Incidentally, the reason Vivian was so free was mainly because the secretary her grandfather assigned to her was extremely capable.

After all, Sherry was a knight commander who could fight the Imperial Army to a standstill on the front lines, so setting up a hospital was a piece of cake for her.

Moreover, there is also support from the principality.

On the contrary, Theresa, who lent her the book, has been busy accompanying Irene to various royal events lately and always comes back very late.

Thunder City has been changing rapidly lately, with all sorts of new things emerging one after another. Things like improved steam buses, gas lamps, bicycle factories, department stores, and newspaper associations... Before the citizens of Thunder City even had time to remember their names, these dazzling new gadgets had already become yesterday's news.

To demonstrate the royal family's support for innovation among the people, Erin often represented her brother at ribbon-cutting ceremonies that Her Majesty the Grand Duke could not attend in person.

Meanwhile, in another corner of the living room, just as Vivian noticed the person breathing heavily, Miss Mia was sulking over a messy ball of yarn.

She originally planned to knit a sweater for her "dearest" before the deep winter arrived, but after a few days, she only managed to turn one ball of yarn into another messy ball of yarn.

"Ugh! I'm so angry!"

Mia angrily threw the knitting needles back onto the coffee table, her face flushed red, just like her pink hair.

"Wool from the surface world—it's too difficult to use! If it were black goat wool from hell, I would have finished weaving it long ago!"

The voice was filled with frustration.

Sitting to the side, Qiqi carefully picked up the knitting needles and comforted her in a very soft voice.

“Miss Pa...Mitia, the key to a gift is the sentiment. As long as the sentiment is there, even if it is a little rough, I believe His Highness Colin will be moved by your efforts.”

As the actress who plays "Elois," Kiki has now become the most famous actress on the northeast coast of the entire Whirlpool Sea.

However, in front of Mia, she was still the obedient and sensible succubus junior, without any airs of an idol.

"That's true... but how could I possibly give something like this away?" Mia looked at the ball of yarn that looked like it had been scratched by a cat, and hung her head in frustration.

Kiki blinked and whispered a cunning idea: "Then... how about I knit it for you?"

The innocent Miss Padridge blinked.

"help me?"

Qiqi nodded excitedly.

"Hmm! My skills are passable. Once it's finished, you can tell Prince Colin that you made it yourself..."

The sweater that Miss Eloise knitted by hand...

If this were to appear at an auction, all the young men in Thunder City would probably go crazy.

Mia's eyes lit up at the suggestion, and she was about to nod in agreement when the intuition bestowed upon her by Padrick's bloodline instantly triggered an alarm in her mind.

etc--

The sweater that Qiqi knitted represented her heartfelt feelings. What if she gave it to Luo Yan, and Luo Yan wore it close to his skin...?

Wouldn't that be like pushing your "darling, darling" into someone else's arms with your own hands?!

"No! Absolutely not!"

Mia's pink cheeks gradually turned a deep purplish-red. She shook her head violently, almost losing control of her tail hidden in the subspace. "Wouldn't that mean I'm giving your feelings to Prince Colin on your behalf? I don't want to be that kind of sucker!"

Startled by the sudden turn, Kiki, who had never thought of it that way, hurriedly waved her hand and explained.

"You, you've misunderstood! I... I wouldn't dare..."

By Bayeri's side, she's just a lowly succubus from Shanghai, how dare she covet the prey of the Padridge family?!
Seeing Mia's alarmed expression, she felt both anxious and helpless.

My dear Miss Padridge seems completely unaware of how perilous her situation is; Prince Colin is now surrounded by wolves.

Previously, it could be considered a contest between factions in Shanghai, but later it was clear that a power struggle between the local demon faction and the local human faction had also been added.

Now, Kiki sees another faction, seemingly from the Holy City, joining Prince Colin's side. Although she has never met Miss Ophia, the Castellion family are renowned heroes in human history, even more famous than Campbell.

After all, Campbell was merely a hero who suppressed the Demon King of Thunder County, while the Castellion family were the discoverers and pioneers of the New World.

He has a share in all the holy light!

Just as Miss Kiki was worrying about the Padridge family, a mocking laugh came from the carpet.

"Kukuku... Has the heir of the Padridge family stooped so low as to be jealous of an ordinary succubus? This is truly an eye-opener for me."

Upon hearing this, Mia jumped up like a cat whose tail had been stepped on, her eyebrows furrowing fiercely.

"Who are you calling a loser?!"

Vivian turned a page of her book without even looking up, and said lazily.

"Who else could it be? The only one in this room who's still at the Gold level is that pink-haired idiot, isn't she? Kukuku, I think she should hurry back to the Demon King Academy for further studies."

Perhaps because Miss Padridge often mocked her academic background, Miss Colin remained resentful about it.

These words were like a bullet, piercing Mia's heart.

The lack of extraordinary power has always been a source of pain for her.

As the eldest daughter of the Padridge family, her talent is undoubtedly undeniable, but it also depends on who she is compared to.

In addition, she herself was a poor student.

Even though a Gold-level strength is already considered outstanding, it still seems somewhat inadequate in Thunder County, where there are many powerful individuals.

In the labyrinth beneath Thundershire, even the lesser demons are diamond-level.

Qiqi shrank her neck and kept her mouth tightly shut, not daring to make a sound.

Although she wanted to speak up for Miss Mia, the harsh reality was that she wasn't even a Gold-level succubus yet, just a weak Silver-level succubus. Clearly, she had no right to interfere in such a battle of the gods.

"Tch—what's so great about it!" Mia struggled for a long time before finally managing to utter this weak rebuttal.

Her rebuttal played right into the little devil's hands. She felt restless if she didn't fight someone for a day, and her opponent's counterattack only excited her. "So what! So what! Heh heh heh! Go ahead and bite me if you dare!"

That damn brat—

Watching Vivian jump on the sofa, wildly sticking out her tongue and making faces, Mia felt her fists harden.

however--

But she just couldn't win.

Tears welled up in her eyes, but Mia ultimately swallowed the humiliation and forced out a soft groan through gritted teeth.

She's holding Luo Yan responsible for this!
Sooner or later, we'll make this guy break through our defenses!

……

Thunder City University.

The afternoon sun shone through the curtains onto the oak desk, where Luo Yan was engrossed in a pile of documents about the establishment of the Mage Guild.

A week has passed since the School of Science moved into Thunder City University, and he has been shuttling back and forth between the university and the Clock Tower lately.

On the one hand, he needed to settle the students and professors from the Academy, and on the other hand, he also had to prepare for various matters concerning the Mage Guild.

In addition, he occasionally takes on the role of a professor at Thunder City University, giving a few classes to the young men and women.

Since the "Truth" airship landed, he has become busier than before, and spends less and less time at home in the manor.

However, seeing the series of changes that have taken place at Leiming City University, Luo Yan felt from the bottom of his heart that it was all worthwhile.

Dandelion seeds are gradually sprouting in this fertile land...

Just as he finished processing a document, the office door suddenly opened, and a figure rushed in from the corridor outside.

The visitor was none other than himself.

It was my dear Mia.

Not surprised by her sudden visit, Luo Yan gently flicked the tip of his quill pen, and the teapot on the tea cabinet flew automatically to the top of the coffee table, pouring Mia a cup of warm tea.

Then, another sugar cube was placed inside.

"What's wrong, dear Miss Ya Ya? What brings you here?"

Looking at that handsome, sunny face, half of Mia's grievances instantly dissipated, but new grievances welled up again.

She plopped down on the sofa and immediately began to complain.

"Your sister is bullying me again!"

Setting down his quill, Luo Yan rubbed his temples with his index finger. Although he had already guessed what had happened, he still offered a concerned question in a gentle tone.

"What...did she do now?"

Mia accused through gritted teeth.

"That brat laughed at me for being a loser!"

For proud demons, being mocked for their strength is indeed an intolerable insult, so it's no wonder she lost her mind.

"This girl really went too far; her grandfather spoils her rotten. But please believe me, she didn't mean any harm; she's just asking for trouble..."

Luo Yan sighed and continued.

"I'll definitely teach her a lesson when I get home tonight and make her apologize to you."

"Yes, yes! We must teach her a lesson!" Mia nodded vigorously, her face beaming with the joy of revenge.

However, the joyful smile didn't linger on her face for long; it froze in the next second.

etc--

How to deal with Vivian?
Mia's mind instantly conjured up Vivian's usual infuriating face, which then transformed into a smug, smug satisfaction. If her darling really went back to "teach her a lesson," wouldn't that be playing right into that pervert's hands?!
"Wait, wait a minute! Let's forget about it!"

Mia's expression suddenly changed drastically.

She crossed her arms over her chest, coughed lightly, twirled the end of her pink hair with her index finger, and said in a pretentious manner.

"This is no small matter for you to handle! I'm a magnanimous person and will let this wretched bat go this time!"

What a risk!

I almost fell for that brat's trick!

Seeing her ever-changing expressions, Luo Yan was speechless for a moment.

"Then... is there anything I can do for you?"

That's a fascinating question.

A blush rose to Mia's cheeks, and her knees rubbed together slightly. However, she seemed to remember something, and her expression suddenly turned serious.

"Um... is anything okay?"

"As long as it's within my power—"

"I want to become stronger!"

Mia stood up in an instant and appeared in front of Luo Yan's desk, her hands supporting her on the table, her pink eyes sparkling with a longing that Luo Yan had never seen before.

"Is there any way to quickly improve my strength? Ideally, to reach the Diamond level... no, the Amethyst level!"

She had initially thought that surpassing some wretched brat would be enough, but she quickly realized that Erin Campbell was also a threat not to be underestimated.

Perhaps amethyst grade isn't enough—

Only by becoming a Grandmaster-level powerhouse like her respected mother could she truly and firmly control Xiao Luo Yan.

Looking into those increasingly intense pupils, Luo Yan paused for a moment, then pinched his chin with his index finger and pondered seriously for a while.

"Regarding the advancement path for succubi... I haven't really researched it. You should ask Lady Serena about this, right? She's your mother and the most powerful succubus in Hell. I think she should know best how to teach you."

"But she never tells me!" Mia muttered, feeling wronged. "Every time I ask her how to become stronger, she always smiles and changes the subject."

"Why did she change the subject?" Luo Yan asked just in case.

Mia replied angrily.

"She always says, 'You'll understand when the time comes!'"

Luo Yan's expression became somewhat subtle.

It's fine if you understand naturally.

Isn't this education system far too casual?
"I'm sorry, I'm not very familiar with the succubus's promotion system."

Mia suddenly moved closer, looking at him expectantly.

"Don't you have the key to the Padridge Library? It has the most complete collection of ancient books in all of Hell!"

"I do have the key—"

"Please! Please help me investigate! See if there are any ancient secret methods that can make a succubus stronger without effort, just like Vivian!"

Mia pressed her forehead against the pile of documents with lightning speed, making a gesture of utter pleading.

Miss Padridge has resorted to any means to become stronger, completely abandoning her former pride. Luo Yan, on the other hand, stared dumbfounded at this self-righteous academic underachiever.

no--

Do you need me to help you search your library?

……

The deep, dark library has rows of towering bookshelves that stretch toward the dome, like the ribs of some dead behemoth.

A tall, slender figure passed between the bookshelves, holding a candle in his hand—the only embers remaining in the black mist.

Luo Yan took a book from the bookshelf, opened it in his hand, and carefully read the obscure and difficult knowledge, his deep purple eyes lost in thought.

"Demon King." A milky-white ghost appeared beside him, suddenly popping up and whispering.

"what happened?"

"Aren't you spoiling Miss Padridge a little too much? You have to personally go out to do such a small thing as checking information..."

"It's not about spoiling."

Luo Yan turned a page of the book in his hand and calmly replied.

"I also happen to have some questions about the soul that I want to verify, so helping her look up information was just a side thing."

Youyou glanced at him in surprise.

As expected of the Demon King—

Their ability to speak fluently and spontaneously is already highly refined.

Getting back to the main point, this is the Padridge family's large library.

This library does not stand on any actual land, but exists in the "Soul Realm"—a conceptual space that is above the spiritual world—outside of independent reality.

It is equivalent to countless high-ranking demons opening their "sea of consciousness" and connecting with each other to form a vast "sea of consciousness".

To use computer terminology from Luo Yan's previous life, this was a local area network built by a group of succubi, which was similar to the mental resonance of the little devil.

Luo Yan had always been curious about how this space worked, but after learning about Xuebang's "honeycomb theory," he finally gained a new understanding of the vast sea of books before him.

This is essentially a miniature version of a "beehive," and the key is held by Padridge and those he trusts.

At this very moment, Luo Yan is searching through the vast collection of books for texts about succubi's advancement, especially the secret techniques of the Padrich family bloodline.

Unfortunately, although he found some profound research on the structure of the soul, he couldn't find any way for succubi to advance.

Perhaps the secrets of the Padridge family are too mysterious, or perhaps they are too simple to be worth mentioning here.

"...Looks like it was a wasted trip." Luo Yan put the book back on the shelf and muttered to himself.

Although it wasn't a loss for him.

Just as he was about to give up and turn to leave the area, a soft sound suddenly came from not far behind him.

pat-

A heavy book suddenly slid off a high bookshelf and landed right at his feet.

Luo Yan stopped in his tracks.

In that instant, he vaguely sensed a graceful shadow flash by deep within the misty bookshelf.

The aura was both familiar and strange, carrying a hint of elder's teasing and composure.

Luo Yan raised his eyebrows slightly, but did not expose Lady Serena who was spying from the shadows. Instead, he bent down with interest and picked up the book.

He lightly brushed away non-existent dust from the cover, opened the book, and looked at the table of contents.

This appears to be a potion notebook, with neat yet messy handwriting.

In the table of contents, he quickly found a line of entries circled in marker, as if it had been prepared specifically for him—

[A potion for quickly enhancing a succubus's power]

"Demon King! Isn't this what you've been looking for? But the timing is too perfect!" Youyou leaned over for a look, exclaiming with delight as her round body floated in the sky.

Luo Yan smiled noncommittally, glanced at the formula, and muttered to himself.

"Fifty milliliters of Shadow Datura flower dew, to be collected under the full moonlight...ten milliliters of concentrated Dragon's Tongue extract...fifty grams of ground Salamander tail powder..."

interesting.

Succubi's power can actually be enhanced through potions.

The only thing that puzzled him was why they were keeping this from Mia. If they were worried about not being able to concoct the potion, they could have simply asked a professional potion maker to do it for them.

"Are these materials difficult to obtain?" Youyou asked curiously.

"It's not difficult, the only troublesome thing is the fire lizard, which isn't found in the Great Tomb. As for the others... they're easy to find in the Night Elf's herb garden."

Let the adventurers find the fire lizard.

I've heard there are quite a few deserts in the eastern part of the Whirlpool Sea, which are the territory of heretics and orcs.

Luo Yan silently memorized the recipe, then closed the book, placed it back on the bookshelf, and nodded slightly in thanks towards the shadows.

The next second, his figure disappeared from the library, along with the faint candlelight.

About half a minute later, a graceful figure emerged from under the bookshelf, a smile playing on her fox-like eyes.

"What a polite young man."

Just as Lady Serena finished speaking, a figure dressed in a jet-black tailcoat appeared beside her.

Looking at the spot where Luo Yan had disappeared, Festing sighed softly.

Is this really a good idea?

Serena smiled sweetly and turned to look at her husband.

"Why not, darling? Our Mia is so naive. If we don't do something, she might really lose."

Festin's face held a subtle expression.

He didn't think his daughter would lose to anyone, but he was skeptical of Lady Serena's idea...

Her plans always seem to end in disaster...

……

On the other side, Thunder City University.

Pulling his consciousness out of meditation, Luo Yan, leaning back in his chair, opened his eyes and returned to the office filled with the scent of ink.

With half an hour left before the end of the workday, Mia had already gone home, leaving him alone in the office.

Luo Yan raised his index finger slightly.

The quill pen in the pen holder seemed to come alive, floating towards the ink bottle and then landing on the pristine white paper, where it swiftly wrote down the potion recipe word for word.

Sarah.

Just as Luo Yan finished speaking, the office door opened silently, and the loyal Sarah walked out like a shadow.

"Your Highness, please give your orders."

Seeing Sarah nod slightly, Luo Yan raised his index finger and gently swept it through the air. The letter filled with the formula flew smoothly to her and landed perfectly in her hand.

"Help me gather the materials on this list. If they're not in the warehouse, purchase a batch through the Adventurers' Guild."

Sarah took the letter and glanced at the contents briefly.

Although she wondered what the Demon King intended to do with these things, she didn't ask any further questions, but simply nodded respectfully again.

"As ordered."
