Chapter 699

Ambush

As evening fell, a convoy of several vans and SUVs drove into the yard through the back gate. Abdullah, who had arrived earlier, had already opened the warehouse gate and waved for the convoy to drive straight in.

The warehouse, built of reinforced concrete, looked very sturdy, but the interior was empty, as if it had never been used.

Nasser jumped out of an off-road vehicle and called to his men, "Unload the vehicle, load the weapons, this is our safe house."

His deputies, Abdullah and Musad, also came over and directed everyone to get off the vehicle and unload the goods.

Although the Aksa militia only sent fewer than thirty people this time, they were among the most formidable fighters.

Their mission was not to destroy Hurricane Company, but to seize the opportunity to capture high-ranking figures within Hurricane Company and send them back to the Middle East.

The goods were taken out of the boxes, and at Nasser's request, these highly trained militia elites quickly assembled the weapons.

It was pitch black outside. Nasser glanced at his watch and said to Musad, "You set up the sentries. Abdullah and I will go out to meet with our informant, gather intelligence, and also buy some food."

Musad, who was inferior to Nasser in terms of seniority, position, and ability, had no doubts and said, "Leave this to me."

Nasser beckoned Abdullah to get in the car and quietly drove away from the warehouse area.

The car turned onto the street, and the latter glanced back: "Are you sure we'll be attacked?"

Nasser said, "The black cats of India have arrived."

Upon hearing about the infamous Black Cat, Abdullah asked with concern, "Given Black Cat's numerous embarrassing performances, won't they break it down?"

"Probably not." The group of people Nasser trained were quite capable, but the Black Cats had a large number of men and launched a surprise attack.

Musad, who remained in the warehouse area, immediately arranged for both overt and covert sentry posts to establish a basic perimeter.

However, their equipment was outdated, and they only had the old-fashioned method of manpower for sentry duty.

These people never imagined that their leader was actually someone else's mole.

Elite personnel from Hurricane Company had already taken their positions in several residential and office buildings near the warehouse area by noon.

Drogba and González set up a temporary command post on a high point.

The latter, which is in charge of multiple drone teams, has already launched reconnaissance drones to survey the entire area from high above.

Hidden cameras, quietly installed several days ago, are monitoring key points on the street from the ground.

Drogba answered a phone call and said, "Our inside sources report that the target just contacted them, and the Indians have already been mobilized."

Patel and Praden quickly evacuated from a nearby house.

A street away, several cars were parked in the darkness, their headlights off, and they moved quietly by the moonlight, gradually approaching the warehouse.

Shah issued the order via radio: "All squads, take note, check your weapons and tools, and prepare to attack."

Not only these few vehicles, but other vehicles were also quietly approaching the warehouse area from different directions.

Upon hearing the order, the people in the vehicle quickly checked their weapons and equipment.

Shaha cautioned, "Don't underestimate your opponent!"

Patel and Praden, the two informants, had been monitoring the warehouse area since last night. According to their reports, after Claire Emery arrived in Damakin this evening, most of the personnel guarding the warehouse area were transferred to the training base to protect the First Lady.

As expected, the best time to attack has arrived.

Shah gave the order over the radio: "Squad One, launch the attack!"

In another block of Damakin, a fully armed former Black Cat Special Forces team, approaching the outskirts of the Hurricane training base, launched an attack on the base using modified suicide drones they carried.

Boom!

The drone crashed into the base, creating a fireball.

Gunshots and rocket launcher fire rang out simultaneously.

The base was in chaos, seemingly caught off guard by their attack.

Shah's deputy, Amir, discovered through night vision goggles that Hurricane's armed men were rapidly converging near a small building, clearly guarding that area.

He immediately ordered the drone operators to carry out a suicide attack on the building.

In the underground command room of the training base, Andrei issued instructions methodically.

"Maintain a certain level of disorder among ground personnel, don't scare people away, this loss is insignificant." He looked at the drone signal captured on the screen and said, "Activate signal jamming and electromagnetic suppression in areas 1 and 3, and prevent suicide drones from attacking buildings."

In the night sky, a drone flying towards the small building suddenly went out of control and plummeted from the sky.

Amir wasn't surprised; in his eyes, it was, after all, the place where the First Lady of the United States lived.

He ordered, "One more attack, then retreat!"

Several medium to large-sized drones were already in position in the air, unseen by the Indians.

Gun barrels were quietly protruding from firing ports in nearby houses.

Armored vehicles hidden in a large garage also quietly started up amidst the sounds of gunfire and explosions.

Near the warehouse area, having received news from the training base, Shah issued the order: "All squads, take note and launch the attack according to the pre-arranged plan."

No matter how many blunders the black cat made, it is ultimately the face of the Indian special forces and has undergone considerable training.

These former special forces members from Black Cat quickly moved to a blind spot and formed a human wall.

Those who rushed forward cut through the barbed wire, quietly scaled the wall, and used crossbows and other melee weapons to quickly eliminate the sentries, both visible and hidden.

Almost simultaneously, two professionals responsible for handling the electricity successfully cut off the power to the warehouse.

However, these two inherited the black cat's fine tradition: one of them swayed wildly while the other tried to drag him down, and then the two of them, performing an ugly robotic dance, fell down together.

After all, a 250-volt electrician is never afraid of 220V voltage.

This was just a minor incident in the Black Cats' attack. The moment the warehouse was plunged into darkness, the Black Cats, wearing night vision goggles, opened the front and back doors and rushed into the warehouse courtyard with lightning speed, approaching the warehouse entrance and windows.

The Aksa militiamen who remained inside the warehouse have been alerted.

Musad shouted, "Enemy attack!"

The elite militiamen, who were resting, took out their weapons and, relying on their memory of the location, pointed their guns at the warehouse door in the darkness.

The clanging sounds came from different places, alarming the militiamen.

Immediately, someone picked up an AK rifle and fired a burst of bullets in that direction.

In the darkness, gunfire erupted, bullets struck the concrete wall, sending sparks flying, and ricochets flew in all directions, one of which hit an unfortunate soul.

Upon hearing the screams, Musad shouted, "Follow my orders..."

Before the words were even finished, round objects flew up from the windows blocked by steel bars, accompanied by a series of muffled thuds.

The light shone brightly in the darkness, as if countless high-powered headlights were turned on at once.

Musad and his men instantly lost sight of each other.

The high-decibel sound waves that followed caused them to clutch their heads and fall to the ground.

The Black Cats' surprise attack proved that they still had some fighting power, at least easily defeating the elite militia of Aksa.

The sturdy warehouse door was then blown open with C4, and two Black Cats armed with MP5 submachine guns rushed in first.

Shah's command rang in their ears: "Eliminate all threats."

The black cats who entered one after another did not hesitate at all and pulled the triggers of their guns.

bang bang bang-

Gunfire continued, and the militiamen, including Musad, all fell victim to the Black Cats' guns. "Safe!"

"Safety!"

The tactical flashlight illuminated the warehouse. When Shaha entered, all that remained besides the standing black cat was a pile of corpses.

The operation was a great success, and all the guards were wiped out.

Saha relaxed and gave the order again: "Find the entrance to the underground vault!"

Except for a few sentries left behind, everyone else went into the warehouse.

Shah tried to contact his subordinates who were in charge of the power supply via radio, but there was no response.

The others turned on their tactical flashlights and searched for the underground entrance.

Suddenly, the lights in the warehouse came on.

Shaha instinctively covered his eyes.

A rumbling sound came from behind him. He quickly turned around to look and saw an alloy gate suddenly fall down, sealing off the warehouse entrance.

Alloy baffles were also installed at other window locations.

"There's an ambush! Be on alert!" Shah shouted.

The black cats immediately abandoned their work and sought cover nearby.

Some people felt the wind and, upon inspection, discovered that many vents had been opened in the ceiling and walls at some point, allowing airflow to rush in.

They had undergone chemical attack training. Shah shouted, "Cover your mouth and nose!"

The Black Cats did not believe they would encounter a gas attack in Africa or during such an operation, and therefore were not equipped with gas masks.

Hurricane Corporation uses state-of-the-art anesthetic gases supplied to U.S. military laboratories, rendering ordinary gas masks largely ineffective.

The sentries left outside wanted to provide assistance.

Several suicide drones suddenly swooped down from the sky and wiped them out.

One of the lucky ones managed to dodge the drone.

But on a high point a short distance away, a sniper pulled the trigger and accurately pinpointed the target.

The drivers who remained on the outskirts were also successfully dealt with by the hurricane's personnel.

Inside the warehouse, the Black Cats tried to use C4 to blow open the alloy doors and walls, but the concrete walls were much stronger than they had imagined.

The alloy door was not the same as the previous iron door; it remained completely still after the explosion.

There was no time for Shah and the others to come up with other solutions, and the wet cloth covering their mouths and noses was simply no match for the poison gas.

One by one, these people fell down.

After a while, the warehouse ventilation fan started turning on, quickly expelling the internal gas and blowing in fresh air.

A large number of hurricane security personnel, dressed in combat uniforms and wearing gas masks, entered the warehouse area through the front and back doors, remotely opened the electric gates, controlled the black cats inside who were like dead pigs, and cleaned up the bodies of the Aksa militiamen.

Drogba reported to the training base: "Operation Cat-Catching was a success. Except for 16 people who were killed, all the Black Cats were captured alive."

Andrei ordered, "Proceed according to plan." He then ordered the personnel outside the training base, "Get rid of all those buzzing flies."

Gunshots rang out continuously outside the Hurricane training base, occasionally punctuated by the explosions from drone bombing.

The Black Cat Squad that came to harass them were all killed on the spot without exception.

But Hurricane Company's actions are not over yet.

Because there is still one key figure who has not yet been captured.

In southwestern Damakin, an off-road vehicle is parked at a key intersection.

Abhishek, sitting in the passenger seat, kept glancing at his watch, looking slightly anxious as he waited for Shah and the others to arrive.

Headlights came on in the distance, and a large SUV drove toward them.

The black cat in the driver's seat picked up the submachine gun that was standing at its feet.

The SUV's headlights turned on and off three times in a row.

Black Cat released his gun and said, "We're on the same side."

The pickup truck approached quickly, its headlights so bright that the rear of the vehicle appeared completely dark, making it difficult to see clearly.

Patel and Praden got out of the car from both doors and walked over quickly.

The former went to the passenger side, and when the window was rolled down, he said to Abhishek, "Commander Shah ordered us to withdraw from Damajin and come over to meet him."

Abhishek nodded slightly: "Wait a moment..."

Before he could finish speaking, he covered his head with his hands and quickly shrank back.

From the other side of the car window, Pladen suddenly drew his gun and fired three shots, killing the driver.

Abhishek felt something hard pressing against his forehead. When he opened his eyes, he saw Patel's pistol muzzle pointing right at his temple.

"Why..." he asked instinctively.

Patel didn't answer, because five people who had jumped out of the back seat and the truck bed of the pickup truck were already walking over quickly.

As the gunshots rang out, more car lights lit up in the distance, and Essien and Wenner's Hurricane convoy sped towards them.

Abhishek was dragged off the car and his hands were tied behind his back.

Another person presented a pair of silver bracelets.

Essien then strode over and asked, "Is that right?"

Patel replied, "The person is right!"

Wenner stepped forward, glanced at it, and nodded to Essien.

Someone took out a black hood and put it directly over Abhishek's head before putting him into a Humvee armored vehicle.

Caught between two burly, dark-skinned men, Abhishek was filled with regret. If he had known things would turn out this way, he should have found a way to defect from India or surrender to Hawke Osment in Los Angeles.

It's not too late now, is it?

At the hurricane training base, Nasser and Abdullah entered the command room and saluted Andrei to report for duty.

Andrei showed the two a pre-edited clip of surveillance video.

This was filmed with an old-fashioned pinhole camera. Although it's not very clear, it captured the faces of Saha and another person.

The video continued until the shooting massacre, then suddenly went black, as if the surveillance equipment had been damaged by bullets.

Andrei said directly, "The next operation will be quite dangerous..."

Nasser and Abdullah both have families, all of whom live in Los Angeles, and their children attend elite private schools in the United States.

Both of them were carefully selected.

Nasser did not hesitate at all: "I can return to Aksa by myself. There is no need for Abdullah to take any more risks."

We've prepared not only videos, but also some badges and markings for the Black Cat.

Aksa's most elite force was ambushed and killed by the Indians. (End of Chapter)
