Chapter 31
The Arrogant Malfoy
Chapter 31 The Arrogant Malfoy
Robin put his arm around Harry's shoulder. "Relax. Maybe Malfoy will make a fool of himself like he did in Potions class last Friday. Anyway, I have a hundred percent doubt that the guy can take on a helicopter."
Just one week into the new school year, Malfoy, accompanied by his two henchmen, not only boasted about how amazing his father was, how luxurious his estate was, and how wealthy his family was, but he also bragged about many exciting and thrilling flying experiences.
For example, an eagle snatched his pet rabbit. He rode a flying broomstick to chase the eagle, his toes skimming over wheat fields, rivers, treetops, and mountain peaks. After a series of thrilling adventures, he successfully rescued his pet rabbit. His joy lasted only a few seconds before a Muggle helicopter suddenly flew towards him. He gripped his broomstick tightly, swerved sideways, and with a nimble turn, dodged the helicopter. Then, he held his pet rabbit and received praise from everyone on the estate.
Regarding this story, everyone unanimously agreed that its credibility was approximately zero!
"That's right, Harry. I've heard Charlie say that your father, James Potter, was one of the best Quidditch players in Hogwarts history. You're his son, so your Quidditch talent can't be too bad," Ron reassured him.
"Thank you, I feel much better now!"
Just as Luo Bin was about to call the two downstairs, he caught a glimpse of Little Chili with her lips tightly pursed.
Her face was pale, and her posture was stiff; she practically had the word "nervous" plastered on her forehead.
"Hey, Miss Granger, if you're afraid of heights, you can pretend to have a stomachache and skip your flight lesson on Thursday!"
Hermione glared at Robin and snapped, "Afraid of heights? I'm the one who takes care of the flowers on the metal frame balcony of my attic. You're not the one who's afraid of heights, are you?"
After saying that, she pouted and pushed her way through the crowd to walk away.
"Tsk, she's so proud of herself. She's already walking with the same hand and foot, and she still won't admit that she's afraid of heights!" Ron complained.
"Ignore her. By Thursday, we'll know who's afraid of heights. Let's go get breakfast!"
Robin pushed his way through the crowd toward the common room door, with Harry and Ron close behind!
The students gathered around the bulletin board continued to chatter, with Simon Finigan being the loudest, boasting about his childhood experiences.
He went to the auditorium on the first floor and continued to tell Neville and Dean how superb his flying skills were, and he talked about it for four days.
On Thursday morning, everyone sat around the long dining table to eat breakfast.
Hermione held a book called "The Amazing Quidditch" and read aloud some of the flying techniques described in it.
Lavender and the Petit sisters covered their ears, their faces conveying an expression that said, "You're annoying, you're noisy."
Ron tried several times to stop Hermione's attention-grabbing behavior, but Harry held him back. Robin was wearing earplugs, so he couldn't hear anything.
At the Gryffindor long table, probably only Neville Longbottom was listening to Hermione's babbling.
Neville blinked his round eyes and stared longingly at Hermione, hoping to hear some useful flying techniques to keep him firmly attached to the broom. He didn't want to fall off the flying broom and get hurt all over.
Suddenly, hundreds of owl postmen flooded into the Great Hall. They circled above the four long dining tables, and finally landed in front of their respective recipients. Hermione closed her book listlessly and sat down reluctantly.
"Robin, Ms. Molly wrote you a thank-you letter!"
Ron pulled a letter from a large bag of candy and handed it to his friend.
Luo Bin took the envelope and tore it open immediately!
[
Dear Robin:
The toolbox you gave Arthur, he touches it dozens of times a day. The lake-green dress is very pretty. Shana and Linda always ask me where I bought it. Ginny always wears that pink diamond butterfly hair clip in her hair and won't let anyone else touch it.
Thank you, we all love your gift.
I made some candy, and you, Ron, and Harry can share it.
Molly Weasley

Luo Bin casually opened a green candy wrapper; it was green apple flavored, and surprisingly, it was quite delicious!
Flutter! Flutter!
A big, fat Scottish chicken with a round face fluttered into Neville's arms, its claws clutching a small cloth bag.
Neville excitedly opened the cloth bag and pulled out a large glass marble, about the size of a marble, with white smoke swirling inside.
"This is... a memory ball?" Ron exclaimed in shock as he munched on a large chicken leg.
"Yes, Grandma knows I have a bad memory, so she specially brought it over. The memory ball can tell you if there's something you forgot to do."
After explaining, Neville gripped the memory orb tightly and continued, "Look, like this, hold it tightly. If it turns red, it means..."
His face immediately fell, because the memory orb suddenly turned red, and a bright red at that. "It means you forgot to do something!"
Neville frowned; he couldn't remember what he had forgotten to do!
This was the Gryffindor long dining table, and Neville's constipated expression was really affecting his appetite. Robin couldn't help but remind him, "Neville, look at your clothes!"
Neville looked down. His shoes were clean, his trousers were wrinkle-free, his gray vest was neatly tied, and even his red tie was perfectly straight. He looked up at Robin with a puzzled expression.
"Oh, robes, Neville, you forgot to wear your witch's robes!" Hermione blurted out.
"Oh? Oh my god! I... I forgot to wear my priest's robes!" Neville exclaimed, standing up excitedly.
Boom!
His thigh hit the edge of the table.
pat!
The table shook, knocking the memory ball off.
He rushed to pick it up, but someone else had already done it.
Malfoy tossed the memory ball around and sneered, "You big fool, I never thought you were so stupid that you had to rely on a memory ball. I advise you to pack your things and get out of here as soon as possible. Otherwise, when you receive a letter of expulsion from Hogwarts because you're too stupid, your grandmother, your uncle, your aunt, your crippled parents, and even the entire Longbottom family will be too ashamed to show their faces."
The Longbottom family are great heroes who fought against the forces of darkness. Malfoy's actions are no different from slandering the martyrs of the War of Resistance in his previous life.
The Gryffindors all stood up abruptly, their eyes burning with intense anger.
Malfoy was terrified. He tossed the ball to Neville and said, trying to sound tough, "My dad's on the school board. If I get hurt at school, he'll definitely not let you off the hook."
"Draco Malfoy, your father can't protect you forever, right?" Robin said.
"Hmph, the honor of the Malfoy family will protect me for life!"
Malfoy silently retreated and hid behind Crabbe, whose thighs were trembling.
"What happened?"
As soon as Professor McGonagall entered the foyer, she sensed that something was amiss and stepped forward to ask in a serious tone.
"Professor, Malfoy stole my memory orb and even insulted me."
"Professor McGonagall, I...I was just kidding, the ball...the ball has already been returned to Neville!"
Minerva McGonagall's sharp gaze swept over the Memory Orb in Neville's hand, past the furious Gryffindor students, and finally landed on Malfoy's pale face.
"Draco Malfoy, you should know that some jokes are not to be made lightly. Apologize to Neville Longbottom!"
