"Then you guard me!" Jordan scoffed. "True superstars are two-way players. You don't have the guts to go up against the opponent's strongest player, do you?"

"Even if I were to go up against your strongest player, it would be Richard. When did it become your turn? Who gave you the confidence to think you're still the best on the team? Seriously, just retire already. Stop wasting Richard's life and career! He deserves better. You're not good enough for him, Michael! Richard, what do you think?"

"It's none of my business!" Hamilton, not daring to accept Lin Ze's outrageous statement, quickly shook his head and said, "Michael will always be the team leader!"

Lin Ze, of course, guessed Hamilton's answer and said with a smile, "Michael, then bring on a few more! Let everyone see who's the best on the team! Instead of clinging to Richard's coattails and relying on Richard's shooting to catch up."

"Alright!" Jordan snorted, then accelerated through the arc, drew the defense, and passed the ball again. Hamilton caught the ball, pulled up and shot, and it went in again!

He is truly the NBA's top mid-range shooter and the king of mid-range shots.

"You think I'd fall for your tricks, kid? You think I'd go crazy and start playing recklessly just because you say a few words?" After passing the ball to Jordan, he looked at him with an expression that said, "I see right through you."

"If you can't play, you can't play. Don't act like you don't want to. Have some shame, Michael!" Lin Ze sneered. "Your excuses are so practiced they're almost pathetic! Let me think."

"You say the same thing to those girls every night, right?" Lin Ze said, then switched to an exaggerated and smug expression and tone, imitating Jordan: "You think I'd fall for your tricks? You sluts just want a baby! Heh heh, I can't even get it up! I'm deliberately limp! You think taking off a couple of pieces of clothing will make me stupidly go crazy?"

"Shut up, you bastard!" Jordan said again, annoyed, and once again lamented the passing of time.

If it were 5 years ago, no! Even if it were 3 years ago, he would definitely have attacked wildly, scored points, and then smashed and destroyed Lin Ze!

But now, he can clearly feel his strength waning, and he knows he must conserve his energy.

For the next few minutes, it was still a battle between Lin Ze and Jordan. Although the two were not directly matched up, their trash talk was almost non-stop. They would exchange a few words every round.

During this phase, the Lakers and Wizards were evenly matched.

Lin Ze and Jordan were evenly matched in scoring, so the point difference between the two teams remained largely unchanged.

It wasn't until four minutes into the fourth quarter that Jackson finally patted Kobe and O'Neal on the shoulder.

"Go! Finish the game! Take advantage of Washington's weakness and exhaustion, and win it all in one fell swoop!"

Kobe and Shaq, who had been itching to play, immediately took to the court, while Lin Ze was substituted by Jackson.

"You can rest for a maximum of 3 minutes. If the score difference isn't widening in the last 5 minutes of the game, you'll have to go back on!"

"Don't worry!" Lin Ze wasn't too tired tonight.

With Kobe and Shaq drawing attention around him, he can easily get more opportunities and space. In addition, the Wizards' main offensive firepower is on the perimeter, so he doesn't have much pressure on the defensive end. At this moment, his physical strength is still quite abundant.

However, Jackson clearly miscalculated tonight; he misjudged Kobe's determination to challenge Jordan.

Jackson thought that offering Kobe some promises, some inspirational quotes, and a few stories would solve everything, but when the game reached the crucial fourth quarter, nothing worked.

I'm Kobe, and I'll show you what Jordan can do!

So, O'Neal couldn't catch the ball again.

It looks like he won't even score 20 points tonight.

After Kobe entered the game, he almost stopped passing the ball. He kept attacking and shooting, hoping to match up against Jordan.

But the Wizards were clearly determined to protect Jordan and save his energy for offense, so no matter how much Kobe clamored and provoked them to score, the Wizards remained unmoved!

However, there are advantages to remaining unchanged.

Jordan delivered his best offensive performance since his return tonight.

When Lin Ze returned to the court with five minutes remaining in the fourth quarter, he had already scored 40 points, 8 assists, and 5 rebounds.

By any measure, this was Jordan's best game since his second comeback!

With Lin Ze's return, the two sides have officially entered the final battle!

98: 103!

The gap between the two sides remains at 5 points!

In the first possession back on the court, the Lakers finally started their signature triangle offense: Kobe broke through the middle and passed the ball to Lin Ze on the wing, who then quickly bounced the ball to O'Neal under the basket.

After receiving the ball, O'Neal quickly turned and drove to the basket, making a layup to score his 16th point of the night!

After scoring this time, O'Neal neither celebrated nor trash-talked; he's probably not in a good mood tonight.

Turning back, Jordan and Hamilton executed a pick-and-roll between the 2 and 3 positions. Jordan, with the ball in hand, used the screen to catch up with Fox. After two consecutive one-handed dribbling maneuvers, he suddenly pulled up and launched a mid-range jump shot!

"Whoosh!"

Jordan was on fire tonight!

Even a 38-year-old Jordan was no match for Fox.

"Substitute!"

After a brief hesitation, Jackson made a decisive substitution off the court.

He felt that Jordan would definitely continue to run pick-and-rolls with Hamilton to attack Fox, so he decisively substituted Fox with Madsen.

The three highs!

With 4 minutes and 25 seconds left in the game, Jackson moved Lin Ze to the small forward position!

Since the Wizards lack offensive firepower in the paint and speed on the perimeter, playing with a big-man lineup could very well produce surprising results.

After the substitution, when Lin Ze received the ball at the high post, Jordan finally ran towards him again.

These two are at odds again!

"I thought you'd never have the guts to face your own father in your entire life!" Lin Ze lowered his center of gravity and carefully observed the surrounding situation.

Lin Ze could sense that Jordan's reaction and condition had clearly declined. Jordan only rested for 3 minutes in the entire second half, and his physical strength was obviously not enough to support him to play for such a long time. So Lin Ze knew: the opportunity had arrived!

He started with a dragging step, followed by a one-handed dribble followed by a hesitant step to find an opening on Jordan's defense.

Not found!

Even though Jordan's legs were slower, his defensive balance was truly impeccable, making it extremely difficult to find a weakness in his defense.

Since it's difficult, I won't look for it!

Hit the old man in the most basic and simplest way!

Tonight, I'm going to bully the elderly!

Lin Ze lowered his center of gravity, accelerated, and drove hard, pushing past Jordan all the way to the basket. He then pulled up and shot, completely ignoring Jordan's continued efforts to defend and Jones' help defense.

"brush!"

After a crisp sound, Lin Ze made a layup despite being guarded by two people.

"Beep beep!" The referee blew his whistle decisively at this moment: "Hand foul! 2 points awarded, plus 1 free throw."

ball!"

"That's tough!" Kenny shouted. "Lin rarely chooses such an aggressive style of play; he's the standard elegant and graceful type."

"That's the power of Michael! He'll give young people extra motivation," Barkley said. "When he came back, he should have guessed that he would constantly face provocations and challenges from young people."

"Lin is just one of them!"

"And Kobe!" Kenny said, "He must be so envious, even jealous of Lin! He definitely wants to match up against Michael, but unfortunately, tonight the Wizards seemed to have conspired to avoid having Michael and Kobe face off, except for the first quarter!"

Barkley laughed heartily and said, "Given Kobe's personality, he might be in a bad mood even if we win tonight!"

Like Jackson, these two also overlooked O'Neal, who had just returned from injury and was eager for the spotlight and center position. Although this sensitive and fragile big guy couldn't hear the two commentators, his mood was getting increasingly depressed.

He clearly sensed that the Lakers, which he had once firmly controlled, seemed to be slowly slipping out of his grasp.

Lin Ze and Kobe's progress has been too fast and too obvious.

"Whoosh!"

Lin Ze made the free throw, and the gap between the two sides widened to 7 points!

100: 107!

This time, Jordan didn't dribble or dominate possession of the ball on the Wizards' offense. He stretched out to the baseline and needed to rest and recover his energy, allowing him to launch consecutive attacks in the fourth quarter, even after playing almost the entire second half.

It was really quite difficult for the old man.

"Michael's tired!" Barkley noticed Jordan's avoidance-style play. "He needs rest. Now it depends on whether the rest of the Wizards can hold on, even if it's just for two minutes. If they can prevent the Lakers from extending their lead within two minutes, then Michael can conserve enough energy to close out the game!"

The Wizards' players were quite reliable at this point. Strickland found an opportunity beyond the three-point line, pulled up and fired a powerful shot, narrowing the gap to four points.

But when Lin Ze saw that Jordan was guarding him again, he reached out for the ball once more.

"Trying to slack off on offense, old man? Want to rest for two minutes on the field and then wrap up the game? What a pipe dream!" Lin Ze started his attack while spewing trash talk. This time, he didn't choose those easy offensive methods.

This time, he chose to use the toughest and most direct approach to attack Jordan.

Sit and strike with your back turned!

A seated stance without any techniques or fancy feints!

"Bang! Bang! Bang!"

Lin Ze rammed into Jordan's chest three times in a row, forcing him towards the basket. Of course, Jordan didn't just passively take the hits; he also tried twice to steal the basketball from Lin Ze's hands, but failed both times.

After sitting all the way to the edge of the three-second zone, White's help defense also arrived. Lin Ze immediately passed the ball to Fisher, who was standing outside the three-point line. Then he quickly took two steps out and reached out for the ball again.

Fisher didn't hesitate and immediately passed the ball back to Lin Ze.

"Don't blame me, Michael. Your teammates helped defend first, so I had to take another shot."

As Lin Ze spoke, he stuck out his butt again and thrust it towards Jordan.

After two more heavy blows, this time no one came to help defend. Lin Ze successfully turned around and elbowed Jordan in the chest before jumping and shooting.

The ball missed. The contest between Lin Ze and Jordan was too intense and close. When he jumped, his legs were a little weak and he couldn't put enough force into the jump. The ball hit the rim and flew to the other side.

But on the other side of the Lakers' team is Shaquille O'Neal!

The big guy, who had been frustrated all game, jumped up in anger, grabbed the basketball that had bounced off the rim with both hands, and shoved it back down.

"boom!"

After a loud bang, Jordan's elbow and impact were in vain, and the energy he had built up in the previous play was completely exhausted in the defense, and the Lakers even managed to score.

This round was a complete failure for the Wizards.

"Lin's playing style is really disrespectful to the elderly!" Barkley laughed loudly. "Michael has probably never experienced anything like this in his life!"

"Just like you've never kissed a man's ass?" Kenny seized the opportunity and skillfully changed the subject.

"Fuck you!" Barkley cursed, the painful memories resurfacing once again.

"Kobe! Full press!" Lin Ze shouted, "Wait out that old man! Don't worry about whether he gets the ball or not!"

"Do you think you can teach me how to play basketball?!" Kobe muttered irritably, then his body language betrayed him, and he started sticking close to Jordan from near the baseline.

"He definitely won't dare to dribble up the court! He's a coward! He's so old he's lost all his teeth!" Lin Ze continued to mock Jordan from the sidelines, "That's why we give him physical contact!"

While Jordan could largely ignore Lin Ze's low-level provocation and take it completely in stride, Kobe's next words broke his defenses.

Kobe pouted, looking at Jordan as he moved around empty-handed, with a disappointed expression: "You didn't dare."

The enemy's sarcasm paled in comparison to the disappointment in his little fanboy's eyes.

Kobe's words nearly made Jordan's blood boil.

Damn it, I wouldn't dare?

An enraged Jordan, upon arriving at the frontcourt, made a large and aggressive move to demand the ball, delivering two consecutive elbows to Kobe's chest. He vented his frustration and anger at being humiliated by Lin Ze's slapping on Kobe.

Instead of getting angry, Kobe excitedly battled with Jordan, as if Jordan's two elbows were a huge favor to him.

Jordan receives the ball in the midfield position, backs down Kobe, observes the situation on the court, then dribbles and backs down the ball, looking for an opportunity to turn around.

Just then, Lin Ze appeared!

He suddenly accelerated out from the side, sticking close to Jordan, waving his hands constantly, trying to interfere with and block Jordan's passing routes and cut off his passing angles as much as possible.

"No need for help defense! I can do it myself!" Kobe muttered somewhat annoyedly as he seized the opportunity and "snap" the ball out of Jordan's hands!

"Run!" Lin Ze grabbed the basketball, then turned sideways to block Jordan, shoving him with his butt to prevent him from accelerating back. He then slammed the ball onto the floor, and Kobe immediately accelerated, grabbed the basketball, and started a fast break!

Jordan, who was being blocked by Lin Ze, roughly shoved Lin Ze in the chest and angrily shouted, "Get out of my way! Don't fucking block my way!"

Lin Ze wasn't about to suffer such a loss. He turned around and shoved Jordan with much more force, causing Jordan to stumble back several steps before regaining his balance.

Lin Ze pointed his index finger at Jordan and cursed, "You fucking want to get beaten up again, don't you?"

Fortunately, the referees had been keeping an eye on Lin Ze and Jordan for a while. They knew exactly how much trash talk the two had exchanged tonight and had been on guard against them.

So when Lin Ze shoved Jordan away, the referees rushed over immediately and marked the two of them.

Completely separated.

The two remained calm after being separated. Lin Ze tilted his head and pointed his nose at Jordan, giving him a "come on, come on" look.

Jordan arrogantly patted his jersey on his shoulder, as if he were brushing off some non-existent dirt.

Judging from Jordan's demeanor, it seemed like he had the upper hand in the previous confrontation.

"Both of them were quite gentlemanly," Barkley said. "At least after the conflict, they both remained rational and kept their principles in place, and didn't continue with pointless insults and profanity."

"They all know it's pointless," Kenny said. "Michael never wastes too much energy on this kind of thing, and Lin, we've all seen him fight, we know what he's like when he really fights. If he wanted to beat up Michael, he wouldn't give the referee a chance to intervene or separate them."

"It seems they have a really good relationship, but I've never understood why neither of them has ever publicly stated that the other is their good friend?"

Barkley gave Kenny a sympathetic look, thinking: Kenny, there are some secrets that a player of your caliber wouldn't know!

On the court, the referee quickly brought the situation under control; or rather, neither Lin Ze nor Jordan...

They were considering escalating the conflict, so they waited for the referee to give each of them a technical foul, essentially a 50/50 chance. After both players made their technical free throws, the game resumed, and the Lakers had possession of the ball.

The two were moving too fast, which prevented Kobe from completing the fast break.

After the previous conflict, when Lin Ze was in a low position, he became even more ruthless and aggressive, and his movements became larger, just like in the previous attack.

Although it didn't go in, it's not Lin Ze's preferred style of attack.

But it doesn't matter.

Lin Ze is already very happy!

"Consider this missed shot my tip!" Lin Ze glared at Jordan and said, "Thanks for being my punching bag!"

55

Then Lin Ze waved at Kobe, signaling him to go away, saying, "I'm going to guard Jordan myself!"

"Am I some kind of trash that you can just brush off?" Kobe muttered as he turned around and found Hamilton, then gave his good buddy a hard elbow.

"Are you sick?" Hamilton winced in pain, completely bewildered by the sudden blow.

He hadn't even crossed the halfway line yet; he was still strolling around his own half preparing to attack. How did he suddenly get hit like that?

Kobe coldly scanned Hamilton, from head to toe and then back to his head, finally finding a point to attack: "You fucking wear a headband, I hate it when people wear headbands!"

Ok?

As O'Neal ran past Kobe, he unconsciously touched the purple headband on his head.

Is this kid targeting me, targeting me, or targeting me?

Kobe, O'Neal, and Hamilton were all completely bewildered, while Lin Ze had already begun high-intensity, close-marking defense against Jordan from the baseline.

In this possession, Jordan dribbled the ball up the court!

Lin Ze immediately stuck to Jordan almost the entire time, spreading his arms and using his body and wingspan to interfere with Jordan's drive.

Jordan's stamina was failing and his speed was far from what it used to be, making it quite difficult for him to face Lin Ze's defense.

He also understood once again what Grover had advised him when he wanted to make a comeback.

"Michael, if you come back and find that those guys who were never as good as you can now shit on your head, and that you can no longer do the things you used to be able to do easily, you will definitely regret your decision to come back."

Regret?

Jordan suddenly broke into a slight smile.

Even if I discover these things, I will never regret it!

Jordan suddenly stopped, and then he noticed that Lin Ze's center of gravity had shifted on the defensive end.

So he immediately dribbled past Lin Ze with a wide crossover, but he only took one step toward the inside and was about to shoot when Kobe suddenly let Hamilton go, bursting out from the wing and leaping high to completely block his shooting space.

Jordan had to temporarily change his shooting trajectory and arc to barely dodge Kobe's block and send the ball flying toward the basket.

But Jordan knew that the shot was unlikely to go in.

"Too short!"

As Jordan roared, Lin Ze and Kobe were already sprinting towards the frontcourt from the left and right. Jordan could only curse once before running at full speed alongside the two guys.

Jordan knew very well that the Wizards couldn't compete with the Lakers on rebounds, so he could only speed back on defense.

The Lakers secured the rebound, and the ball quickly came to Kobe's hands. Kobe then passed it to Lin Ze, who dribbled once and returned it to Kobe, who then passed the ball to Lin Ze again.

After receiving the ball again, Lin Ze was already under the basket. He looked at Jordan running towards him, but instead of shooting, he threw the ball into the air. Kobe took off from behind Jordan, caught the basketball with one hand, and slammed it into the basket!

Throughout the fast break, the two players kept passing the ball back and forth, but Lin Ze only dribbled once.

Barkley loved seeing Jordan make a fool of himself, as if he were the one toying with Jordan on the court: "Michael must have been exhausted after that shot!"

"People have to accept getting old!"

Kenny immediately added, "Especially after you've achieved great success and won six championships, right, Charles?"

The champion meme will never be absent!

The main reason Kenny and Barkley are feuding is that the outcome of the game is no longer very suspenseful.

The.

104: 112.

The point difference had reached 8 points, but there were only two minutes left in the game.

In the next possession, Jordan once again tried to take a one-on-one opportunity, but Lin Ze's double-team arrived again. Kobe seemed used to it and didn't protest anything like "I want to challenge Jordan one-on-one."

Lin Ze is not Ma Long.

Malone was concerned about his reputation and face; after Kobe told him to stop setting screens, this guy immediately left.

But Lin Ze? Kobe suspected he would get beaten up.

This time, Jordan didn't make any mistakes or misses, but Hamilton couldn't capitalize on his pass. As Hamilton missed a mid-range shot, O'Neal grabbed the rebound again, and with that rebound, he finally got a double-double tonight.

In the next possession, Lin Ze drove all the way to the basket and made a strong shot. Although he still missed, he grabbed the rebound and then drew a foul from Jordan when he went up for a putback, earning two free throws.

"If I were you, I'd be off the court taking a break." Lin Ze stood at the free-throw line, looking at Jordan with smug confidence.

What can you do on the field besides get beaten up?

"You still want to reverse things?"

While spitting out insults, Lin Ze steadily made both free throws, widening the gap between the two sides to 10 points.

He had a blast tonight. He never knew beating Jordan on the court was such a thrilling experience.

This is also Lin Ze's 48th point tonight!

Unfortunately, as the Wizards' offense stalled, they took advantage of the dead ball situation to substitute both Jordan and Hamilton.

This prevented Lin Ze from bullying Jordan any longer.

With the old man no longer bullying him, Lin Ze remembered Jackson's mission.

So Lin Ze gave O'Neal a hook shot, but perhaps because he was in a bad mood, or perhaps because his hands were too cold, O'Neal's hook shot missed.

Next, Madsen received Jackson's instructions and quickly fouled, the Wizards made the free throws, and all the Lakers' key players were substituted out.

In the end, O'Neal failed to achieve 20+10, but most of the Lakers players were in good spirits.

With a comfortable victory over the Wizards, the entire roster back in action, and a renewed offensive force, everyone knows that starting with tonight's game, the Lakers will truly be on the right track!

Their season actually only begins tonight.

Throughout the game, Lin Ze scored 48 points, 9 rebounds, and 5 assists, and even had a significant advantage in his matchup against Jordan!

After all, although Jordan also scored 43 points, many of those points were scored against Kobe.

That was awesome!

Next, let's see what good stuff the system can give us.

"Tonight, Michael didn't score a single point in the last four minutes of the game, except for one technical foul free throw!" Barkley said, looking at the stats after the game. "This is unthinkable in previous games!"

"Although the Wizards were able to keep up with the Lakers until the very end thanks to Jordan, their inability to score in the final minutes, allowing the Lakers to quickly pull away, was also due to Jordan."

"He didn't score in a 1v2 against Lin and Kobe, nor did he find open teammates to assist them in scoring. Tonight's game was really not Michael."

"Or rather, the era of Michael has truly come to an end."

On the field, Lin Ze, who had finished celebrating and was about to leave through the player tunnel, discovered that the system had not yet settled his account.

Could this system have really crashed completely?

Or perhaps the mission isn't completely over yet?

Could it be that the game is over, but the mission to destroy Jordan is not yet finished?

Hmm, I can give it a try!

No, we absolutely have to try it!

So, at the post-match press conference, Lin Ze sat next to Jackson once again.

Because tonight's event is a showdown between the old and new champions, and a reunion between Lin Ze and his old teammates, the reporters were in high spirits. They even skipped the usual questions and asked Lin Ze the very first question after he sat down.

"Lin, you and Michael really went head-to-head tonight. How does that feel? Does facing off against your former teammate make you more excited?"

"It feels amazing. I think all of us basketball players of this generation who make it to the NBA have the same goal: to beat Michael! I did it tonight, and that makes me really happy."

"As for the rematch, or rather, the first matchup against Michael, it's just as exciting. I won't say things like, 'This is just a regular season game, no different from any other game.' This game is different."

"I longed to crush Michael, to trample him under my feet, and I think I did it tonight."

"Aren't you afraid Michael will get angry if you say that?"

Lin Ze laughed: "Why should I be afraid of him getting angry?"

"As everyone knows, the person you absolutely cannot mess with in this league is Michael Jordan."

"But that was Jordan five years ago," Lin Ze said. "We don't live five years ago. Michael's era is over; now it's the Lakers' era!"

Do you think Michael Jordan's prime is over?

"Do you think Michael Jordan is still at his peak?" Lin Ze retorted. "Wake up, bro, you can't live in the past."

"However, Michael is back, which is great. The league needs him, the fans still love him, and he gave us so much."

He was great in that several people gave him another chance to play.

"He has helped countless people realize their dreams and helped countless people rediscover their youth."

"But the basketball god is gone, and the Air Jordan is gone too."

"You know what Penny Hardaway said, right? The following year in the playoffs, Jordan destroyed Hardaway."

"Of course I know," Lin Ze said. "That's why we're waiting for him in the finals this year. I hope he can make it to the finals."

"But I'd bet $100 he won't make it to the Finals, Shaq, what do you think?"

"I bet $200 he won't make it to the Finals!" O'Neal had regained some of his energy by now.

"So, what if Michael and his team fail to reach the Finals?" Lin Ze looked at Jackson:

16

You lose $300 to me and Shaq!

"What's it to me!" Jackson laughed. "I'm not going to participate in a bet I can't win!"

Lin Ze smiled and said, "Then let's change the way we bet."

Lin Ze made a surprising statement: "I bet the Wizards won't make the playoffs, they'll be in the lottery again, although he..."

They're still in the top eight in the East, but I think their record will drop, maybe to $100. What do you think?

"Catch it!" This time, O'Neal and Jackson didn't hesitate.

For Jordan and the Wizards to reach the Finals was a pipe dream.

But you're saying they won't make the playoffs?

These two people wouldn't believe it no matter what they said.

That's the East!

A 38-39 win streak might be enough to get us into the playoffs in the Eastern Conference.

Will the Wizards miss the playoffs?

Jordan will risk his life to get the Wizards in!

He couldn't bear the shame of his team failing to make the playoffs.

The reporters in the audience were also extremely excited. Needless to say, "Lin Ze says the genius can't make the playoffs" will definitely be the front page tomorrow.

After the reporters asked a few more questions, the topic suddenly shifted to Kwame Brown.

on.

This "son of God" handpicked by Jordan only played 11 minutes tonight, scoring 2 points and grabbing 4 rebounds, continuing his performance as the biggest bust among number one draft picks in history.

In fact, after almost every Wizards game, reporters would ask similar questions, but almost every time, they would only get some perfunctory answers.

They kept saying things like, "He's very talented," "Keep up the good work," "The sky's the limit for Kwame," "He's the most talented kid I've ever seen," and so on, but almost no one actually said anything serious.

Among the very few exceptions, one was Kukoc, who, clearly reminded of his own past being bullied by Brown's tragic experience, said with sympathy, "Michael will ruin that kid, just like he almost ruined me."

Tonight, the reporters finally met Lin Ze.

"I can't say whether Kwame is a flop or not. I've only played against him once, so it would be irresponsible of me to say whether he's a genius or not."

"I don't know him well enough. I don't know if he can become an All-Star or a top-tier center. I'm not a professional scout, and I've never developed any young players before. But one thing I'm sure of is that even with 18-year-old Michael, if you only give him 10 minutes a game and substitute him for every little mistake..."

If you stop giving him opportunities and encouragement, and only subject him to constant insults and suppression, he won't be able to make a difference.

"Since we used the number one pick, we have to give him a chance, we have to encourage and praise him. I think what the Wizards need to do now is not to make Kwame turn into Shaq or Hakim every night, but to help him regain his confidence and believe in himself."

"So what if he makes mistakes and misses shots? Let him make mistakes and miss shots. Don't talk about the team's record, and don't say that his poor performance caused the team to lose. Tonight, Michael was the main culprit for the Wizards' loss! If you don't give a rookie a chance, are you going to wait until he's 38 before letting him unleash his full potential?"

"I simply can't understand the Wizards' thought process or their development methods, and I don't understand what they want. Do they really want to win the championship this year?"

Many people can see and understand what Lin Ze is saying, but in the past, no one has been willing to say it, and many people have been afraid to say it.

For other teams: Whether Kwame Brown develops well or not is none of their business. They'd rather he rot away so he won't become a major threat to them in the future.

For the Wizards, with Jordan around, no one dared to say anything.

Even if some reporters or media figures are willing to speak out and question Jordan and the Wizards, when has Jordan ever cared what outsiders say?

But tonight, Lin Ze said it all, in front of fans across the United States, after a victory.

This is no different from slapping Jordan in front of all the fans in America, and it has the same effect as pointing your finger at Jordan and calling him a stupid idiot who can't be trained and has no patience.

That really shows Jordan absolutely no respect.

At the very least, when Jordan learned of Lin Ze's words at the Wizards' press conference, he was so angry that he gripped the poor bottle of drink on the table with both hands, his knuckles turning white from the force.

That bastard!

Who does he think he is?

He's teaching me how to play basketball?

And they even said I wouldn't make the playoffs?

If a loss might make Jordan feel nauseous for one night, but he could recover his composure the next day, then what Lin Ze said at the post-game press conference really broke Jordan's spirits.

In other words, he's matured and become more rational; he won't resort to profanity at a press conference. If it were a young Jordan, he probably would have stormed into the Lakers' locker room and had a serious argument with Lin Ze about what to do.

Let's play basketball!

Filled with anger, Jordan gave a few perfunctory answers to a few questions and returned to the locker room, where he saw Brown humming a tune as he changed his clothes.

Brown immediately fell silent when he saw Jordan enter. His good mood vanished instantly. Fearing that Jordan would vent his anger on him, he carefully dressed, trying not to attract Jordan's attention, and then quickly left the locker room.

But clearly, he failed.

Jordan came specifically for him, and when he saw Brown's cowardly and weak appearance, he was furious. A surge of anger rose to his head, and he strode up to Brown.

"What are you doing?"

"Me? Now? I—I'm getting dressed."

Jordan asked an outrageous question, and Brown gave a stupid answer.

"You son of a bitch, who the hell gave you permission to change clothes? Don't you know how badly you played tonight?"

"Don't you know we lost tonight? You shameless idiot, you have absolutely no competitive spirit! You lost the game, and you're still singing and getting dressed at the same time?"

"Speak! I'm asking you, do you think losing the game isn't a big deal?"

"No, no, Michael, I didn't mean that." Brown's legs went weak with fear, and he couldn't help but turn to look at head coach Collins.

Collins just praised him, saying he did a good job holding up O'Neal in those few possessions and that he'll give him more playing time next time.

Brown finally beamed; this was one of the few times he had received praise since joining the team.

He felt that although he lost the game, it could be a turning point in his career.

He was just imagining that maybe starting from the next game, he would get more playing time and trust.

But his happiness lasted only a few minutes before it all came to an end.

"Shut up, trash! You have no right to call me by my name!" Jordan glared at him furiously. "So you have someone backing you up now, huh, Kwame? When did you get involved with Lin? When did he become your big brother and start speaking up for you? Huh?"

"How about we trade you to the Lakers, so you can more easily, quickly, and closely lick his balls? What do you say?"

"Huh? Lin?" Brown looked puzzled. He didn't understand what Lin Ze had to do with him. He had never even spoken to Lin Ze.

"Playing dumb with me?" Jordan didn't care whether he was right or wrong; he just wanted to vent his anger and find a punching bag. "Change your clothes! Now, come with me to the court, we'll practice for another hour!"

"Everyone calls you a fraud, don't you feel ashamed at all? Don't you feel embarrassed, don't you think you should train on the field for much longer?"

Meanwhile, in the Lakers' locker room, Lin Ze was happily taking a shower, humming a cheerful tune. He knew that his remarks at the press conference would definitely be relayed to Jordan word for word, perhaps even embellished, but he didn't care if the reporters added their own embellishments. He even hoped that the reporters would add more things that would anger Jordan.

However, after Lin Ze finished showering and changed his clothes, he found that the system still hadn't settled the reward.

What's going on?

Does this mean the night isn't over yet?
