Chapter 22
Mito the Uzumaki
The Eighth Hokage of Uchiha meant that he hoped to awaken the Sharingan as soon as possible and truly enter the core of the Uchiha clan—within the Uchiha clan, whether or not one awakens the Sharingan and the number of tomoe are linked to status, benefits, and even power.
"That day will come, my eighth-generation cousin."
Gen Uchiha nodded to the Eighth Hokage.
In fact, he didn't know when he would awaken his Sharingan.
This body's talent isn't top-tier, but it's definitely not bad either. He was able to enter the elite class at the Ninja Academy, not because of the system's card draw.
They definitely have the ability to open their eyes.
However, Gen Uchiha felt that his emotions were often too stable, which would definitely be an obstacle to awakening the Sharingan.
However, in the future, Uchiha Gen believed that he would definitely be able to draw cards of the Uchiha clan with Sharingan.
After all, as everyone knows, Naruto has many other names such as The Legend of the Eyes and The Battle of the Living Dead with Red-Eyed Disease. The various characters of the Uchiha clan occupy a large part of the story, and there are many different forms of each character at different times. Whether they are popular or just filler, they were all crammed in by my colleagues in my previous life.
As long as the leveling speed doesn't slow down, you'll eventually be able to draw the relevant character cards.
"Well, in that case, I'll take my leave now. You guys made quite a commotion just now, I need to go back and report to the police department."
The Eighth Hokage patted the shoulder of the Genji Uchiha, said something to Orochimaru, and then disappeared with his team in a flash.
"Let's go too. We can pack up first, then find someone to treat your injuries. Tonight, we'll take you to celebrate the formation of the team. Starting tomorrow, you won't have the same easy life as you did at the Ninja Academy."
Orochimaru turned around, glanced at the ravaged forest, and released the summoning, sending the snakes back to Ryuchi Cave.
Although they were all superficial injuries, Orochimaru still had a training plan in place and didn't want to waste time.
Although he could also heal these injuries, Orochimaru had another option to heal them quickly in a short period of time.
Most importantly, he needed to have that person conduct a detailed examination of the three students' physical data and development in order to develop a more scientific and reasonable training plan.
Half an hour later.
After returning home and cleaning up, the three genin from Orochimaru's team reunited with Orochimaru and arrived at the true center of Konoha Village.
"Are these... sealing techniques?"
Looking at the long, red, strip-shaped incantations carved along the roadside, Uzuki Ruri asked curiously.
"Those are the barriers and seals set up by Mito-senpai. Even if you are unable to damage these seals with your abilities, you should still maintain a distance of more than one meter."
Orochimaru nodded slightly to an ANBU ninja who peeked out from a rooftop in the distance, and led the three of them forward.
The further you go, the more lush the vegetation becomes. Occasionally, you can see some symbols on the mottled walls around you—these are the clan symbols of the Senju clan, the old rivals of the Uchiha clan.
At the end of the road stands a grand and ancient old house, its design exuding a strong Warring States period style.
Two people were standing in front of the door.
One male and one female.
The woman was pretty, with long light blonde hair and brown eyes, giving her a youthful and energetic look.
The other man had white, spiky hair and was tall, but he exuded a somewhat sleazy aura.
"Haha, Orochimaru, you've arrived! Tsunade and I have been waiting for you for a while."
Jiraiya stood with his hands on his hips and addressed Orochimaru.
What are you doing here?
"Ahem, I just happened to be browsing around here."
Jiraiya quickly crossed his arms behind his head and turned his gaze to the three Uchiha Genji, changing the subject:
"Well, so this is your new disciple? Hmm, not bad, he seems very energetic. I've been thinking of taking on a few disciples in the next couple of years."
"Heh, your future disciple is really pitiful. If he doesn't have any self-learning ability, he'll probably have a hard time growing."
Orochimaru rolled his eyes at Jiraiya.
"Alright, you guys must be Orochimaru's new students. Come on in."
Tsunade sized up the three Uchiha Genjis, her eyes filled with a complex expression.
After Nawaki left this world, Orochimaru took on another disciple...
Inside the old house.
An elderly woman with gray hair, with a few red strands still visible, was reclining in a deck chair, basking in the sun.
"Oh, Jiraiya and Orochimaru are here again, and these little radish kids too. Hmm, they look pretty energetic."
The old woman had a smile on her face as she looked at the group of people who came in from outside. Her kind eyes kept looking them over. When she saw the Uchiha clan crest on Uchiha Gen's clothes, she was slightly surprised, but then her smile deepened.
She loved seeing these children from different families get along so well.
Because this is the value that her late husband fought for his entire life.
"Mito-sama."
"Lord Mito, it's been a long time."
Jiraiya and Orochimaru quickly stepped forward to greet them, and also led Gen Uchiha and the others to pay their respects.
Mito Uzumaki—no, she should be called Mito Senju—actually held the highest position in Konoha. As a founding member of Konoha and the widow of the First Hokage, her status surpassed that of Hiruzen Sarutobi, the Third Hokage.
For many of the Senju clan's veteran retainers, this little old lady's words carried more weight than those of the Third Hokage.
"Okay, you all go ahead and do your work. I'll just visit the old lady. You can come and visit me more often when you have time, as this old woman doesn't have much time left."
"Alright, Grandma, don't say such unlucky things. With your health, you'll definitely live to be a hundred!"
Tsunade hugged Mito's arm, acting coquettishly.
"Alright, you know what's going on with Grandma. You guys can come here more often these days. These little ones are close to Kushina's age, so you can chat with them more."
Mito patted Tsunade's hand and gently shook her head.
"When they leave, remember to give each of them a book on sealing techniques, just like your two teammates did when they first arrived. Consider it a gift from your elders, Hashirama and I, to these younger generation."
"I understand, Grandma. You all come in with me first, I'll give you treatment and check up your bodies."
Tsunade nodded slightly, then reached out to greet Uchiha Gen and the others.
Following Tsunade's steps, the group soon arrived at a clean room with several wooden beds inside.
