Chapter 19 Hongjun's sermon concludes, Holy Spirit Queen
"Alright, let's rest here for a while!" The Celestial Ancestor stood on the shore, closing his eyes and gazing into the distance.
"Right here? No, are we waiting for someone here?" Jin Peng wrinkled his nose and asked with obvious disdain.
"Um!"
After saying that, the Celestial Ancestor sat down cross-legged.
Seeing this, Jin Peng, feeling bored, couldn't help but look at the taciturn Kong Xuan beside him.
"Hey! Let's go out and have a race to see who can fly faster!"
Jin Peng's tone was calm, but the expectation in his eyes deceived him.
"Call me brother!" Kong Xuan said indifferently.
"You... Hmph! Don't even think about it!" Jin Peng felt offended, so he glared at Kong Xuan hatefully.
Then he leaped into the air and transformed into a golden-winged roc several miles in size, soaring into the distant sky.
"Ha, what a boring fellow!" After saying that, he looked at the sitting Ancestor Cangtian, hesitated for a while, and then asked through gritted teeth.
"Tell me more about the deeds of the Divine Court and the Primordial Divine Path!"
"..."
"??"
"..."
"Master...!"
"What is it?"
"Tell your disciple about the deeds of the Divine Court and the Primordial Divine Path again?" Kong Xuan said, enunciating each word clearly.
His tone was one of helplessness and gritted teeth.
In the shadows, the Celestial Ancestor couldn't help but reveal a faint smile.
In fact, he had already given Kong Xuan and Jin Peng a general introduction to the Divine Court and the Primordial Divine Path on the way to the South China Sea.
After they have a basic understanding of the Divine Court.
Only then did the Celestial Ancestor begin to allow them to cultivate the Innate Divine Path.
Fortunately, Kong Xuan, who possesses the fundamental laws of the Five Elements, can cultivate the innate divine path using the Great Dao of the Five Elements.
Jinpeng, who possesses the fundamental laws of Yin and Yang, can also cultivate the innate divine path using the great Dao of Yin and Yang.
……
Time flies.
Time quickly came to the end of Hongjun's third sermon.
Inside the Chaos Purple Cloud Palace.
After Hongjun Daozu finished his three lectures, he fell silent and said no more.
The boundless visions also came to an end.
The three thousand guests of Zixiao Palace were itching with excitement, but when they thought of the saintly power of Hongjun Daozu, they sighed in disappointment.
"My three lectures are finished. Do you still have any questions?" Hongjun Daozu asked expressionlessly after a moment of silence.
At this time, among the three thousand guests of Zixiao Palace, dozens of people had already broken through to the Quasi-Saint level by using innate spiritual treasures to sever their corpses after the second lecture.
They also learned the requirements for attaining sainthood and becoming a Primordial Great Luo.
They no longer seek to attain the Great Luo of Primordial Chaos; they only ask that one of them may become a saint!
After all, the Dao Ancestor made it very clear.
There should be nine saints under the Heavenly Dao. Since Hongjun Daozu is one of them, there are still eight beings who can prove the Dao and become saints.
Thinking of this, Lao Tzu, sitting at the head of the meditation cushion, asked first, "May I ask our ancestor, since there are so many sages, who among us can become a sage?"
Hongjun remained silent for a moment, then said indifferently, "Laozi, Yuanshi, and Tongtian, you three are transformed from the primordial spirit of Pangu, inheriting the blessings of Pangu. Under the Heavenly Dao, you three should be considered saints. Are you willing to take me as your master?"
Upon hearing this, Laozi and his two brothers were overjoyed and immediately knelt down, saying, "We are deeply grateful to our teacher for imparting the Dharma three times. We, your three brothers, have long held this wish. We pay our respects to our teacher!"
Hongjun finally smiled, then took out three strands of Primordial Purple Qi and said to the three, "This is the opportunity to attain enlightenment. I hope you will carefully study and comprehend it, and attain the status of a sage!"
The three of them excitedly accepted the Primordial Purple Qi, and then knelt down to express their gratitude once again.
Then, Hongjun spoke to Nuwa, who was sitting in the fourth position.
"Nuwa, you will one day have a divinely ordained great opportunity and perform a great deed to become my last disciple. Are you willing?"
Perhaps the surprise came too suddenly, or perhaps it was something we had prepared for.
Nuwa was both excited and forced to suppress her joy. At Fuxi's prompting, she carefully accepted the Primordial Purple Qi.
Finally, she excitedly kowtowed and thanked her, saying, "Disciple Nuwa thanks Master!"
After bestowing four strands of Primordial Purple Qi, Dao Ancestor Hongjun remained silent amidst the eager anticipation of the others.
This greatly worried everyone, especially Jieyin and Zhunti, who were sitting together on the prayer mat.
Realizing this was a rare opportunity, the two could no longer restrain themselves and rushed ahead of the crowd, crying out in sorrow.
"Please, Dao Ancestor, have mercy on my brother and me. We have struggled and persevered all the way from the West to finally attain the quasi-saint level. We beseech you, Dao Ancestor, to accept us as your disciples. We will surely bring blessings to the primordial continent!"
Hongjun sighed deeply, then calmly said, "The bond between you two brothers and me, master and disciple, is shallow. However, because of me, the West has become barren. So be it, I will accept you two as my nominal disciples!"
Upon hearing this, Jieyin and Zhunti immediately disregarded the difference between true disciples and nominal disciples.
He immediately kowtowed and thanked them with utmost respect.
He then accepted the Primordial Purple Qi from Hongjun, unable to hide his excitement.
At this time, seven of the Nine Saints of Heaven and Earth had departed, leaving only two.
However, because the ninth position cannot be created, and because the immeasurable eons of heaven and earth are not desired, there is actually only one saintly position left at this time.
Upon thinking of this, everyone felt unbearable and cried out to the Dao Ancestor.
However, all of this vanished without a trace in an instant under the sage's oppressive power.
Then, Hongjun Daozu said indifferently: "The Heavenly Dao Saints hold the power of teaching and guiding the world, resolving the doubts of all living beings while also taking care of the growth and evolution of the primordial world."
"However, the Way of Heaven is the Way of Balance, impartial and selfless, so there is still a glimmer of hope. Since the number of sages in the Way of Heaven is limited, you should strive to pursue the Great Luo of the Immortal Path."
Having said that, Hongjun took out the Primordial Purple Qi of the Eighth Saintly Position, "This is my last wisp of Primordial Purple Qi; now it's up to your individual fates!"
As he spoke, he waved his hand, and the Primordial Purple Qi disappeared from the void.
The fuel oil suddenly appeared out of thin air in Zixiao Palace, until it reached the head of Hongyun Patriarch, entered his mind, and then gradually subsided.
Originally, the Old Ancestor Hongyun was regretting that he had given up his seat on the prayer mat before the lecture, thus losing his holy position.
So when the last glimpse of a sage appeared in his mind, he was completely stunned.
The feeling of having lost it and then found it again left him in disbelief for a moment.
However, this scene caused an uproar among others.
Especially the Kunpeng Ancestor, who also lost his holy position, as well as the Styx Ancestor with ulterior motives, the two demon brothers Di Jun, and the Dongwanggong of the Zifu Continent Immortal Court.
This Old Ancestor Hongyun is neither the master of a great power nor a disciple of the Dao Ancestor. What virtue or ability does he possess to have the opportunity to attain the Dao?
For a moment, everyone had different thoughts, and their eyes flickered in silence.
However, regardless of their thoughts, Hongjun Daozu continued, "My three lectures are over, and I am about to merge with the Heavenly Dao. I will now give you some spiritual treasures that I collected in my early years."
Subsequently, Hongjun distributed the treasures.
Laozi, the chief disciple of the Xuanmen sect and the first of the Three Pure Ones of Pangu, obtained the innate treasure Taiji Diagram.
This Taiji diagram is a treasure that Hongjun Daoist inherited from the Yin-Yang Ancestor during the Great Calamity of Dao and Demon.
Subsequently, Yuanshi obtained the Pangu Banner, and Tongtian obtained the Four Swords of Zhuxian and the Zhuxian Formation Diagram.
Nuwa obtained the Map of Mountains and Rivers, the Red Embroidered Ball, and the Qiankun Cauldron, all of which are top-grade innate spiritual treasures.
After Jieyin and Zhunti pleaded and cried, they respectively obtained a twelve-petaled golden lotus and a vajra!
Then came the struggle for all sorts of innate spiritual treasures within the Chaos Treasure Dividing Rock.
It can be said that the three thousand Zixiao guests listened to the Dao this time.
Not only did he learn the methods of immortality and attain enlightenment, but he also acquired a batch of innate spiritual treasures.
It can be said that if they cultivated normally, these people could all have attained the status of Quasi-Saint.
The three thousand Zixiao guests are the three thousand quasi-saints.
This is Hongjun's expectation for his path to immortality.
Just as the three thousand guests of Zixiao Palace were distributing treasures, a joyous event did indeed occur within the Yuan Yi Realm.
The first Holy Spirit of the Primordial Divine Holy Spirit Clan, which had been in the womb, has finally been born!
This signifies the birth of another powerful race within the Innate Divine Path.
The first innate holy spirit to be born was the Holy Spirit Queen, on whom Gu Changqing placed great hopes.
The birth of the Holy Spirit race triggered a series of reactions.
For example, the sudden increase in divine fortune, the change in the will of the gods, and the change in the strength of the Holy Spirit Emperor's avatar.
The Holy Spirit Emperor's avatar not only represents the innate divine path, but also the Holy Spirit God race.
As it truly lived up to its name, the innate divine path, which had always been suppressed by the immortal path, actually showed a slight sign of rebound.
This change was sensed by the immortal Hongjun in Zixiao Palace.
His cold, indifferent eyes peered through layers of void, deducing the changes within in conjunction with the Heavenly Dao.
Beneath his calm gaze, he seemed lost in thought.
