Chapter 1069
Page 1069
Learning from the lessons of World War I, we must thoroughly destroy its basic industrial system while preserving its outward appearance of dignity. The key is to be ruthless enough to achieve the desired effect while maintaining a facade of respectability.
This $5 trillion settlement corresponds to the United States' massive agricultural and mining production capacity. As long as Americans honestly farm and extract oil and natural gas, the US will still be a relatively well-off developed country. Losing its industrial production capacity is not the end of the world; being like Argentina wouldn't be so bad. Without the enormous, distorted burden of global hegemony and the pharmaceutical complex, Americans' lives could even improve. We don't need a great power to rise; we only need the dignity of ordinary citizens.
There is actually another undisclosed secret agreement: in order for the United States to accept the $5 trillion settlement quota, it must also accept the open policies of global free trade and financial freedom, allowing capital from the East to enter North America and sweep up the assets they are trying to acquire.
However, this is not considered a disgrace for Americans, as it was similar before the war.
The US negotiating team did not refuse Li Xinghe's various generous terms; they neither had the ability nor the reason to object. There is no precedent in the world for allowing a former hegemon to continue living with dignity during a power struggle. Consider how the US dealt with Russia, and you'll understand that Li Xinghe had already done everything he could.
But rather than a dignified end, it was more like eternal suffering.
"it is good."
Gavin Newsom and Gretchen Whitmer, after consulting with Bill Gates and others, signed the final peace agreement.
The only outcome for the United States is to accept this answer.
This Central Asia-America aid treaty has been exaggeratedly called the "World Peace Treaty".
Mixed comments from the media in Washington and New York:
"This treaty represents world peace."
For Americans, peace means social stability, and pancakes.
It might be hard for Chinese people to imagine, but as the government distributed cheap flour as an alternative survival policy, it also released numerous instructional videos teaching American women how to make inexpensive flatbreads. This common northern Chinese food gradually became popular in the US, and the flatbread-making carts exported from China were quickly copied by locals. Garage workshops in the US began mass-producing these flatbread carts, becoming a distinctive symbol of those difficult times.
Doesn't America have bread?
Yes, but the replacement of bread with flatbread is a new characteristic of the shift in the discourse of civilization.
A freshly baked flatbread could be filled with hundreds of sauces, meat patties, and vegetables, or stuffed with various roasted meats and cumin. It replaced leavened bread and became a common daily food in the United States, providing a large number of low-skilled jobs. The women pushing their iron carts and appearing on the streets at fixed times to sell flatbreads are the most cherished memories of this era for Americans.
The debate between Catholics and Orthodox Christians regarding leavened and unleavened bread has become a popular and interesting topic. Given its religious significance, is the Chinese flatbread considered leavened or unleavened? Or, given different production processes, how should different types of flatbread be classified?
Li Xinghe didn't care about any of this.
So what is that man who proclaimed that the world would be at peace now doing?
Instead of being immediately overpowered by the lustful May Takao and having sex with her in the White House, he received a notification from Hu Zhantian, who regrettably couldn't visit the United States right away.
"The Soviet Union is going to launch a blitzkrieg against Poland."
With the arrival of peace on the American battlefield, the chaos in Europe will also come to an end.
If you missed the photo opportunity at the White House in New York, you can still have a tour of Paris with the president.
Chapter 152 Lovely May (2600 words)
In 2034, Europe will be in a state of complete silence.
The sudden collapse of the United States with almost no resistance, and the seemingly very favorable peace terms offered by China and the Asia-Pacific region, have given the world a great future of peace in an instant after a sharp turn of events.
As the moral system constructed by the United States collapsed, Europeans gradually lost the will to continue to stand firmly with the US. After all, the US itself had collapsed first.
The new Soviet Union organized 10 armored brigades and 30 infantry divisions, which rushed into Poland along the Eastern European Railway.
The Polish government resisted for less than three days, abandoning its efforts as paratroopers streaked across the Warsaw sky. While Poland certainly possessed the fighting capacity to confront the new Soviet Union, it wisely refrained from further resistance when confronted with the thirteen aircraft carriers in the Americas and the massive Chinese military presence there.
With the Polish government issuing an order to the Polish troops to cease hostilities and return home, the unification of Germany became a natural consequence.
Standing before the gates of Berlin, Hu Zhantian uttered a historic感慨 (gǎnkǎi, a feeling of deep emotion or reflection):
"Without Poland, this is the fate of the Soviet Union."
This is the third time the Soviet Union has attacked Poland.
Rolling westward from Berlin, the new Red Army stopped at the Franco-German border, because France obediently raised the white flag and held several meetings with the new Soviet Union and the new German government regarding the dissolution of the European Union and the reconstruction of the new European cooperation pact.
Only Britain hides overseas, pretending to be isolated and independent. Since Britain has indeed lost its importance, no one cares about this country that is going crazy on its own in 1984.
Ultimately, Hu Zhantian did not enjoy the privilege of being accompanied by the president while touring Paris near the Eiffel Tower.
Because the French president was suspected of being gay, Lao Hu felt this would seriously damage his personal reputation. What if this guy's hook literature was exposed one day? Wouldn't his reputation be ruined? So in the end, he only went to the Brandenburg Gate in Berlin, was awarded the title of Honorary Field Marshal of Prussia, and enjoyed the privilege of being part of the soldiers' nighttime torchlight procession. As for Ms. Weidel, she was an openly lesbian, so standing next to her wouldn't affect his reputation.
Lao Hu's Jiangxi-style stir-fry chain ultimately failed to open because his wife was pregnant and giving birth.
He Yang then went back to India to work in the charity sector, which focuses on homeless children.
Park Yoo-shin and Zhang Xiaoqian switched places; Zhang Xiaoqian settled in Singapore, while Park Yoo-shin returned to Tokyo to serve as Commander-in-Chief.
Xu Baofeng was transferred to the position of Commander-in-Chief of the UN peacekeeping force in the United States.
......
The White House (now blackened).
In a corner room guarded by female police officers including Musashi Hachima, Li Xinghe, under the pretext of commemorating the former presidents, temporarily occupied a complete room. (The rest of the text appears to be unrelated and possibly machine-generated gibberish.)
May shyly pinched her little belly, sticking out two tender little tips, revealing her soft belly with a little bit of extra flesh. Her legs, which had gradually become fleshy from sitting for long periods in her comfortable life, not only looked better but also felt incredibly good to the touch. Even her buttocks had become fleshy. The small, sparse grass was covered with translucent dewdrops.
If you didn't know better, you'd think she was a young girl involved in human trafficking.
"I'm not ready yet..." May said nervously.
Li Xinghe pretended to be happy for May:
"No breasts, no butt, what are you afraid of?"
"Hey! Did I eat your rice because I have no breasts and no butt?"
May was instantly enraged and charged into Li Xinghe's arms in a whirlwind.
Perhaps it's because we're too familiar with each other, that even when we're naked together, it seems difficult to feel any passionate fervor.
In the midst of their playful banter, May suddenly froze, then felt a phantom pain in her thigh.
"They just went in suddenly."
Li Xinghe pressed down on her palm:
"You're the one who's already soaking wet, you little pervert."
May hurriedly grasped Li Xinghe's palm, but Li Xinghe completely controlled the rhythm of her shaking.
"Don't move, don't move around..."
Gao Tiao Wuyue couldn't control herself. She felt like a small fish hanging on a fishing rod, bobbing with the waves and unable to move. Soon, she completely transformed into a nearly thirty-year-old woman, then into a flowing stream, and finally into a state of surrender with her hands raised and eyes rolled back.
Nestled in Li Xinghe's arms, Gao Tiaowuyue finally resolved all her worries and anxieties, and became completely united with Li Xinghe.
In May, she started rambling on and on about many things at home:
"Speaking of which, when you first left Tokyo, the Higashikawa mother and daughter both found out they were pregnant at the same time. I heard that Mami Kaoru's mother was even angrier and felt that the family needed to be disciplined."
"Oh, right, there's also the matter of work communication. After Guanyinlong Qingniao became pregnant, she sent me a code name and told me to contact her using that code name. You would never guess, but when I went to the technical department to check the original communication records of this code name, the earliest one was actually in the house near Huguo Temple where we used to live. Did you use this one?"
"Ah! Oh."
Li Xinghe hastily tried to fool him.
Gao Tiao Wuyue's unintentional remarks made Li Xinghe suddenly realize who the supposedly mysteriously disappeared undercover predecessor was.
Who else could it be?
It turns out she was stepmother Chiyo Hina-hime...
At this moment, Li Xinghe finally understood why his predecessor, a petty thug in Vancouver, had gone through the trouble of being transferred from Vancouver to distant Hong Kong when he was hospitalized for a drug overdose, and why he had to rush to pull him out as a substitute after the person's accidental death.
Why do they say that it had been lying in wait for many years, but suddenly disappeared?
It turns out that this position was originally meant for Chiyo, and he was merely a tool to fulfill her conditions for cooperation. Perhaps in the original plan, there was no intention to stage a coup in Japan. It was only due to the original owner's unexpected death and Li Xinghe's hasty replacement that the rumor of the previous person's mysterious disappearance was arranged to cover up Chiyo's situation.
Unfortunately, Chiyo Hinaki's mother wasn't very interested in these espionage activities; all she wanted was the child.
After Li Xinghe rose to power as a tool, the various super tornadoes he created created a worldline that no one had ever imagined.
Li Xinghe was at a loss for words to thank Chiyo's mother, and even felt a little guilty.
Suddenly, Gao Tiao Wuyue viciously pinched Li Xinghe's cheek, shaking it from side to side, and angrily scolded him:
"Oh no, she's pregnant! You're asking for trouble!"
Li Xinghe patted May's bottom in an annoyed tone:
"Pregnant my ass, you old woman, you've only just recovered!"
"No, it's July who's pregnant, you little lizard! You creepy old man!"
Gao Tiao Wuyue kicked Li Xinghe and angrily raised her phone. It turned out to be a photo of the pregnancy test that Qiyue had secretly hidden, which had been found by the mothers.
Poor little July was grabbed by the ear and severely criticized.
Fortunately, the even cuter September helped protect July from shedding tears.
Just then, Chiyo Hinaki called via satellite phone, questioning her son, Li Xinghe, who had fled abroad but left behind a mess at home:
"When are you coming home!"
Li Xinghe's perfunctory reply:
"I'll be back soon."
Of course, returning will be very slow; things in the US will take several months to get back.
Let's just do it first. May looks so cute with that pitiful expression.
The world situation began to change from that point on. The future world was not a unipolar hegemonic world. As an industrial and financial complex, China gradually became the world's consumer market, and the entire East Asian region returned to its historical rightful place. The United States and Russia, as the world's major agricultural and mining countries, actually achieved genuine friendly relations after the war. After all, the days of the great war between the four major powers of China, the United States, Russia, and Europe were over. After the Security Council underwent genuine reform, the United Kingdom was expelled from the permanent members of the Security Council, and Li Xinghe (India: crossed out) took over the position.
As for Li Xinghe's country, it was naturally still a mess. Due to the instability of finance and industry, political development was actually quite poor. Besides spending money, there were many other problems, with representatives and members of parliament fighting every day in parliament.
But this doesn't concern Li Xinghe much anymore, because he's gradually stopped caring about those trivial matters. He mainly spends his time in the public eye each year filming movies and TV series.
From then on, Li Xinghe and his family lived a carefree and happy life.

Finish this testimonial
It's finally over.
From April 20, 2024 to September 26, 2025, 425 million words were written. In 524 days, there was no break. Every day, the update was completed in full, and every chapter was made as interesting as possible, encouraging readers to leave comments.
I am very proud of this and consider it part of my professional ethics.
The numerous comments from everyone are, in my opinion, the most encouraging feedback that motivates me to think more about how to update the content.
Next, I will rest for more than a month and try my best to recover my physical and mental health.
I'll take a two-day break first, and then I'll gradually update various side stories for this book during this period, roughly once every two days, but it's not guaranteed (I'm traveling), and I might update more frequently occasionally. Sorry, I couldn't get the editor to grant me free access this time, so I'll have to pay (luckily, it's not a huge amount). [The following lines are unrelated and appear to be random characters: You think of me, I think of Lin Kong, you Lin are here...]
The next book has four ideas:
1. The story is set in a fictional Shun Dynasty in 1905, exploring what would happen if the Qing Dynasty didn't exist, but it lacks a compelling premise. The content, plot, and details are largely complete.
2. World War II Japan – you can have a blast killing people; basically, you can kill most of the characters who appear, and complete the entire process from torturing Hirohito to the extermination of Japan. The hype, content, plot, and details are already prepared.
3. Modern America, a place of madness and absurdity, a veritable paradise of sin. Still haven't decided.
4. Returning to the classical, medieval Eastern Roman Empire. A bit unfamiliar.
In October, I will go to the headquarters of Teen Dream to discuss with the editorial department which idea is suitable to start with for the next book. This will require a fierce office debate between the editor-in-chief and me to ensure that each book has good selling points.
Wishing everyone a wonderful National Day holiday.
The free chapter is limited to 500 characters, so this is a rushed summary and not all that I wanted to say.
