Summoning the Eredar Demons
Chapter 1 Summoning the Eredar Demons
In an unassuming little farm near Stormwind's Westfall, in a hidden basement.
It was gleaming with an eerie, dark green light, and an extremely malevolent corrosive energy was constantly converging towards it.
If a mage or paladin were to pass by, they would surely exclaim, "This is fel energy!"
Then grab your staff or warhammer, ignite your rage, unleash holy light magic, and rush in to purge the heretics who use fel energy.
Although the human kingdoms have now called for the acceptance of warlocks.
However, among the general public, there is still great malice towards these warlocks who manipulate fel energy and deal with the demons of the Burning Legion.
"Fel magic, Life Siphon," a hooded boy holding a staff said.
The staff was pointed directly at a small murloc, casting an extremely evil life-draining spell.
A stream of dark green life energy was continuously drawn from the little fishman.
The poor little fish-man let out a series of miserable screams.
"Squeak! Waaaa squeak! Squeak!" The blue fishman's eyes showed an expression of utter terror.
Its body gradually withered under the influence of fel magic until it was just skin and bones, then turned into a dried-up corpse and died completely.
Around the boy were more than a dozen dead fish-men.
They were all dried-up corpses, skin and bones, their life energy completely drained. Besides these fishmen, there were also more than a dozen corpses of creatures such as werewolves and kobolds.
Without exception, all of them had their life force drained, no matter how many of these fishmen, kobolds, and gnolls died.
It won't cause any major disturbances; on the contrary, the more they die.
The local people will be even happier, because these damn filthy things are finally gone, and at least they won't come back to destroy the farmland anymore.
"The life energy conversion should be sufficient. Come on! Activate the demon summoning array!"
A green orb of light appeared in the boy's palm, and an extremely evil evil magic spell began to be cast.
The huge green magic circle that had just been drawn on the ground shone with an incomparably dazzling dark green light.
Around the summoning circle, there were four fel imps that were firmly bound.
The four little devils rolled their eyes as they contributed all the evil energy within them.
And their humble lives, the demon summoning circle emitting a green light.
The four fel imps screamed and transformed into the purest fel energy, which flowed into the magic circle.
A giant magical phantom appeared in the room.
This is a demonic creature with deep red skin, curved horns on its head, and octopus-like tentacles on its chin.
This is an Eredar.
The demon before them was a fel sorcerer of the Eredar, a core member of the Burning Legion.
A dozen or so fishmen, werewolves, and kobolds—weak and insignificant creatures.
With the addition of four fel imps contributing their fel energy for free, the demonic magic circle was barely activated, randomly summoning the phantom of a high-level Burning Legion demon.
"Who is summoning me? Summoning the mighty Eredar fel lord, the great Lord Azodon?" the demon asked as soon as it appeared.
Fel Lord? It seems that this time I didn't summon a minor demon, but rather a mid-level officer of the Burning Legion.
It could also be a high-ranking officer; after all, any warlock from the Eredar race is a mid-level commander in the Burning Legion.
This one is not on the same level as other low-level demons; he dares to call himself a Fel Lord.
Therefore, he must not be an ordinary nobody in the Eredar demon faction; he must be at least a mid-to-high-ranking officer.
It could even be a high-ranking commander in the legion.
I wonder if what I've brought out will pique his interest?
Rhodes had been preparing for this demon summoning ritual for several years.
To satisfy the appetites of these demons, he has slaughtered countless merfolk, kobolds, and gnolls over the years, collecting their soul fragments.
For these demons of the Burning Legion, nothing is more valuable than soul fragments.
"I want to make a deal with you, demon. I want to use these soul fragments in my possession to exchange for powerful fel magic and demonic knowledge." A blue orb of light appeared in the boy's palm.
The Eredar demon glanced at the soul fragment in Rhodes' hand, revealing a look of utter disdain.
The wails of countless dead souls echoed from within, but judging from the quality of these souls, they didn't seem to be very high.
It turned out to be just some low-level merfolk, kobolds, gnolls, and fragments of the souls of some animals and livestock.
If they were ordinary low-level demons, these soul fragments would still be very tempting to these low-level demons of the Legion.
But if it were a powerful Eredar fel lord, well, these things probably wouldn't even catch his eye.
Rhodes also understood the meaning of this fel lord, and it seemed that he needed to activate the second plan.
I never expected this! I unexpectedly summoned a high-ranking officer of the Burning Legion.
"Hmph, these soul fragments of trashy, weak creatures are all just a bunch of low-level beings."
Even though their numbers are considerable, they only possess a tiny bit of intelligence.
"You think you can get knowledge of fel magic from me with these worthless soul fragments?" The Eredar demon glanced at the soul fragments on the ground with disdain before speaking.
"Indeed, as you said, the powerful Eredar demon, Lord Azoton, the Fel Lord."
The soul fragment I am providing you this time is indeed extremely weak.
But as you can see from my current strength, I am just an apprentice who has just come into contact with evil power.
"If you're willing to invest in me, I can offer you unexpected help in the future, such as opening a portal for the Burning Legion," Rhodes said with a smile.
"You actually know about the Burning Legion? Did your world get invaded by the Legion before?"
"Wait! This, this is Azeroth?" The Eredar demon suddenly realized something.
He hadn't noticed it at first, thinking it was some apprentice sorcerer from a lowly planet who had summoned him.
But now, upon closer inspection, this world seems to be Azeroth, the place where the Legion suffered two consecutive defeats.
The most recent defeat even cost the Burning Legion one of its two great commanders, the powerful Lord Archimonde the Defiler.
"As you expected, the powerful Eredar fel lord Azodon, this is the world of Azeroth," Rhodes said with a smile.
"Tell me, Warlock Apprentice, what is your name?" The Eredar demon, who had initially intended to leave, paused for a moment before asking.
If it were another world, it wouldn't matter if he just left.
He really looked down on these fragments of souls from lower life forms.
If circumstances and conditions permit, he might even take the summoner boy's soul with him.
But if this kid who's willing to contact the Legion has Azeroth in his world, then that's a different story.
We can make use of it.
