: The Card Entrusted!

Chapter 65. The Entrusted Card!

"Within the castle!"

"Damn it...it must be that Mai!"

"Only she's looking for Jonouchi and Baron!"

Honda was filled with rage as he looked at Jonouchi, who was leaning against the barbed wire fence, covered in wounds.

He could not forgive that woman for doing such a terrible thing to Jonouchi.

"No, the real enemy we need to defeat is the mastermind behind the Three Musketeers and Mai!"

He crouched down, and Dark Game clenched his fist and said in a loud voice.

"Wait... Jonouchi... it seems..."

Kyoko was surprised to see her friend's chest rising and falling slightly and her hands trembling gently.

"game…"

"!"

"Within the castle!!"

Seemingly able to sense the presence of those around him, the castle opened its mouth with difficulty.

"Are you alright? Don't speak now!"

It was a completely unexpected surprise, and Honda and the others are very excited now.

I thought the soul within the castle had also been taken away, but it seems that's not the case?

"this…"

With trembling hands, Jonouchi reached out to touch the deck.

He had just lost his duel with Mai and should have had his soul extracted by the "Orichalcos Barrier".

But it was protected by that card... We have to give that card to the game.

I'm sure I can help him...

That's a card that's no weaker than the legendary dragon!

(What a pity! They couldn't win.)

(Huh? What's this?)

(That's a participation prize...)

(ha?)

The guy who organized the "Dragon Ball Wars" deliberately dropped a card when he returned to this side.

Unfortunately, Jonouchi was just struggling to use it, but unexpectedly, he managed to save his soul at the crucial moment.

"game…"

"it…"

Trembling, he handed over two cards. Yugi, Honda, and Kyoko all looked at them.

One of them is Jonouchi's trump card...

[True Red-Eyed Black Dragon]!

The other one is a fusion monster card…

That was a "rare card" that no one had ever seen before in the game.

【Super Magical Dragon Knight - Red-Eyes Dragon Knight】

Upon receiving the card, Yugi instantly understood why Jonouchi had given him the Red-Eyes Black Dragon along with it.

"This card..."

You can feel its powerful strength just by holding it in your hand.

That was a powerful monster no weaker than the three Egyptian Gods.

"Hey...hey...it's a shame I don't need it..."

"But...it's...a...game..."

"If...it's...you...then..."

His severe injuries made it difficult for Jonouchi to speak, but the three of them could still sense his straightforward thoughts.

"Alright, Jonouchi, don't say anything yet. I'll take you to the hospital!"

"Don't die, you bastard!"

Honda lifted his "brother's" arm and helped him up.

"Game, Kyoko and I will take Jonouchi and Baron away first, then you can go and settle things!"

"Oh, please."

Watching his departing companions, Yami Yugi then looked at the two cards in his hand.

Red-Eyed Black Dragon…

Super Magical Dragon Knight - Red-Eyes Dragon Knight...

He put the two cards into his deck and turned his gaze to the building not far away. Yami Yugi could sense that a duel was about to begin there.

It seems that Mai also took away the legendary dragon that Jonouchi possessed.

"There..."

Running in that direction, Yami Yugi was determined to settle things with these rivals!

"Just you wait, Dartz!"

.........

Inside the building, Yami Yugi discovers his opponent, who has just defeated Mai Kujaku…

Raphael!

The enemy who once caused my defeat and the loss of my allies.

Yami Yugi challenged him to a duel in an attempt to awaken him from his darkness.

Even with the power of the legendary dragon, Raphael is still a formidable duelist.

(As expected... he will only be freed by defeating this monster.)

(Deathseth, by simply discarding a card from his hand, can replace the destruction of a battle and its effects...)

[Guardian Desceth/ATK: 5500]

That astonishing attack power is a wall that ordinary monsters cannot cross.

"But... there is a way."

After glancing at the card in his hand, he had a clue.

"Trap Card activated!"

"The Sword of Light's Seal!"

"Except for randomly selecting one of your cards!"

"!"

Raphael sensed something was wrong as his hand was being reduced.

Because of the intense battle, he only had two of the six cards he had replenished with "Heavenly Treasure Card" left. Now that one card has been removed, it means that "Death's Life" has lost another "life".

"But... how will you overcome this fate of defeat?"

Although he only had one chance left to replace the destruction, Raphael didn't think he had a chance to win with just the three cards in his hand.

If he fails to defeat himself in this round, he will surely win in the next round.

"I use the effect of the Continuous Spell Card [Yomigayo] on the field!"

(Hmph, at this point, it'll definitely be the legendary dragon that gets resurrected...)

With such confidence, Raphael remained calm.

"Rise again!"

"The Black Magician!"

The resurrection of that symbolic ace also caused an unexpected incident.

"Resurrect the Dark Magician at this point?"

"What exactly do you want, game?!"

Not only Raphael, but even the seahorse watching from the back was stunned.

"I'll prove to you that fate is definitely not predetermined!"

Speaking loudly, Yami Yugi glanced at the three cards he had left in his hand, then inserted one of them into the Duel Disk.

"Spell Card... [Fusion] activated!"

"I'm fusing the Dark Magician on the field with the Red-Eyes Black Dragon in my hand!"

"How is that possible?"

"A fusion of the Dark Magician and the Red-Eyes Black Dragon?"

A gasp escaped, and Raphael and the seahorse displayed expressions of shock.

"Come out!"

"【Super Magical Dragon Knight - Red-Eyes Dragon Knight】!"

A torrent of black flames descended from the sky, and what came into view was a dueling monster unlike anything they had ever seen before.

【Super Magical Dragon Knight - Red-Eyes Dragon Knight/ATK: 3000】

"This is?"

"Watch closely, Raphael, this round I'm going to shatter your so-called fate!"

"Activate the monster effect of [Super Magical Dragon Knight - Red-Eyes Dragon Knight]!"

"During your Main Phase, target and destroy 1 monster your opponent controls, and inflict damage to your opponent equal to the destroyed monster's original ATK!"

Upon hearing the game's sound, Raphael instead let out a cold laugh.

"Hmph, I thought you were going to say something..."

"Although it's a powerful effect, it's useless! When Dethroned is destroyed, I can discard one card from my hand instead of destroying it!"

Despite blocking the incoming black flames, the monster remained standing on the field.

"You are finished, nameless Pharaoh!"

"Hmph... Sorely, you're something else!"

"What?"

Only then did Raphael realize that the monster on the opposite side of the field was still in the posture of its weapon pointing forward, with black flames still burning at the tip of its spear.

"it's a pity…"

"The number of destruction effects of 【Super Magical Dragon Knight - Red-Eyes Dragon Knight】 is determined by the Normal Monster used in the Fusion Material."

"The fusion materials I just used were [Dark Magician] and [Red-Eyes Black Dragon]..."

"impossible!"

Realizing the consequences, Raphael immediately lifted the cover of the Gevka.

"Trap Card Release..."

"Bang!"

Before he could finish speaking, Raphael discovered that the trap card had been destroyed.

"Once per turn! When a Spell/Trap/Monster effect is activated, you can discard 1 card from your hand to negate its activation and destroy it! This card also gains 1000 ATK!"

【Super Magical Dragon Knight - Red-Eyes Dragon Knight】ATK: 3000→4000

Its attack power, which easily matched that of the Phantom God Colossus, was on full display.

"How...is this possible!"

Realizing he was about to be defeated, Raphael wavered.

He had defeated even the legendary dragon several times, but he never expected to lose to this monster.

Raphael LP: 700→0

As the duel was about to end, Yugi looked up at the sky and shouted meaningfully.

"Next up is your turn, Dartz!!"
