Chapter 84 Let's Set Off!
Sana Minatozaki doesn't consider herself to be someone who likes to make trouble unreasonably.
All she wanted was a reasonably plausible explanation.
Pei Xiyan's two explanations are perfectly valid.
So her anger, like a balloon that wasn't tied tightly, naturally deflated.
However, Sana Minatozaki has no intention of admitting that she is angry.
After all, wouldn't that make me seem too stingy? she thought.
I, Sana Minatozaki, am not a stingy person!
"Also, I was never angry." So Sana Minato crossed her arms and began to refute his words, "It's just what Shigen thinks."
Her haughty demeanor only served to make things worse. Pei Xiyan smiled, a sudden idea striking her. "So, does that mean I can continue filming Minai?"
"What?!" As expected, Minatozaki Sana got angry again. She stared straight into Pei Xiyan's eyes, pointed her finger at his chest, and declared her ownership word by word.
"From now on, you can only take pictures of me!"
That's truly the most domineering thing imaginable.
But as soon as she said it, she regretted it.
Wouldn't that make her seem too possessive? She thought, Pei Xiyan isn't her personal property.
So Sana Minato shook her head again, denying what she had just said, "Annie, you can film other people too."
"It's best... well, not really best, when I'm around, try to take pictures of me, okay?"
She felt she had already made a big concession, after all, it was he who personally said he wanted to be her fan club leader.
Fan sites are like personal accounts; they are never lent out!
"Yes." Pei Xiyan nodded with a light laugh. "But before that, can Sana grant me one request?"
"You've got it wrong, haven't you?" Sana Minatozaki stared at him, her eyes wide with disbelief. "Weren't you in the wrong today? Why do I have to fulfill your requests?"
Shouldn't it be me saying these things? How come I'm turning against the Heavenly Gang now?
"But because of someone, I didn't get a single good photo today." Pei Xiyan sighed and raised the camera in her hand, waving it around.
The person mentioned in her words was obvious to Minatozaki Sana, who she naturally knew who it was.
"That wasn't my fault." Her face flushed slightly.
"It's my fault, so... does Sana have time tonight?" Pei Xiyan suddenly asked.
Sana Minatozaki rested her finger on her chin, thought for a moment, and said, "My schedule for today is finished, and I have a little time tonight..."
"6
"But..." Her eyes suddenly lit up with alertness, "What are you going to do?"
"I'd like to invite Sana to a place to see the night view," Pei Xiyan said. "Besides, it's outdoors, so it'll be a great place for you to take pictures."
"Where?" Both the night view and the photos piqued Sana Minato's interest.
"Sana will find out if she comes with me," Pei Xiyan shook her head, maintaining her mystery.
"I'm not going with you unless you tell me, hehe." Sana Minato sticks out her tongue, then smooths her hair. "Let's go, it's time to eat."
As she spoke, she walked briskly away from the corner.
Pei Xiyan followed behind her with his hands behind his back, unhurriedly, just as he had come.
The dinner was at a famous Korean restaurant near Sangam-dong. I heard that the PD works in the area.
Everyone likes to come here. There are many autographed photos of celebrities on the wall. Pei Xiyan even saw Red Velvet and EXO among them.
He sat at a table with nine girls, and the main part of the meal consisted of eating while listening to their chatter. Occasionally, the conversation between the manager and assistant next door would drift over, making the whole atmosphere incredibly lively.
This felt strange to Pei Xiyan, who now eats alone most of the time.
He didn't find the surrounding sounds particularly noisy; on the contrary, they had a unique, down-to-earth charm.
You can mingle in the crowd without having to think about anything. You can either join in or be a focused listener; either way, it's a lot of fun.
However, something happened during the meal.
Yu Dingyan noticed the camera that Pei Xiyan always wore around her neck. "Did Cicadai take any photos today?" she asked.
"Yes." Pei Xiyan nodded.
"Cicadai's photography skills are excellent!" Son Chae-young immediately chimed in after reviewing the photos.
"Qinjia." Upon hearing this, many people looked at him, including Mina, whom he had photographed earlier that day.
"I wouldn't say it's very good," Pei Xiyan said calmly, eating a piece of kimchi.
"It's very good!" Son Chae-young answered for him.
Pei Xiyan glanced at her speechlessly, but received a bright smile in return.
"Can I take a look?" Lim Na-yeon asked with great interest.
Pei Xiyan did not refuse.
He usually uploads photos to the cloud for safekeeping, so he deleted all the photos of Bae Joo-fa from his camera, leaving only photos of Minatozaki Sana and some landscape photos.
He handed the camera to Lim Na-yeon, and as it was passed around among them, a continuous stream of praises erupted from the room.
"Great job!" "Excellent skills!" "Cicadai is truly multi-talented!"
"You photographed Sana so beautifully!"
"I'm beautiful!" Sana Minatozaki retorted indignantly.
However, Mina discovered a problem.
"Why is it only Sana unnie?" she asked softly, looking at Pei Xiyan.
Staring into Minami's watery eyes, Pei Xiyan blinked and understood what she meant.
Where are my photos? Didn't you take pictures of me today? I even posed for them...
Although Pei Xiyan took photos of her today, the photos are not in his camera. He can't very well say something hurtful like, "I didn't actually want to take your picture; I only took it to help someone else," can he?
"I've uploaded Minai's photos to the cloud. It'd be better if I edited them a little before showing them to you," Pei Xiyan explained without batting an eye.
"I see." Mina nodded, without any doubt, and smiled gently. "Thank you, Cicadai."
"No trouble at all." Pei Xiyan's expression remained calm, but she was already beginning to regret not adding Park Ji-ah's contact information.
Where is he supposed to get the photos now?
Are we supposed to conjure one out of thin air?
After the meal, because the cars were parked in one place, the group of people walked together to the parking lot.
Upon arriving at the parking spot, Pei Xiyan said goodbye to TWICE, got into her car, and prepared to go home.
He turned the key, and with a roar from the engine, the next step should have been to step on the gas and drive away in the night.
But his action of stepping on the gas was stopped.
Because someone opened the passenger door.
Under the car's interior lights, the owner of the long, reddish-brown hair looked like a little fox that had sneaked out of the forest.
After she settled in, she first carefully fastened her seatbelt, then turned to look at him. "Let's go, Xiyan."
Sana Minatozaki smiled, revealing her beautiful, pearly teeth.
