There Will Be Good Dreams

Chapter 86 There Will Be Good Dreams

A faint horizontal light shone from the bottom of Sana Minatozaki's feet, peeking out from the gap in the lower door in front.

This means the lights are still on in the dormitory.

This is normal, because usually at this time they have just finished their schedules and come back. The members need to wash up, so the lights stay on until almost 1 or 2 a.m.

But today is different; today's schedule ended very early.

Sana Minatozaki knew that the light was still on partly because of her.

After mentally preparing herself, Sana Minatozaki took out her key from her pocket and opened the door.

She moved very slowly and quietly, trying to make as little noise as possible, but when the door opened, she still met the gaze of someone coming from the living room.

Looking at those three pairs of eyes, Sana Minatosaki felt a strange sense of guilt.

"Nayeon unnie, Jeongyeon unnie, Jihyo...you guys are still awake?" Minatozaki Sana chuckled awkwardly.

"Hmm." Lim Nayeon nodded, and before she could ask, she started talking about what the others were doing, "Mina and Chaeyoung are playing games in the bedroom, Dahyun is reading, and Tzuyu and Momo are already asleep."

"Oh." Sana Minato changed her shoes, then tried to casually walk through the living room. "You guys keep sitting, I'm going to take a shower first."

She even yawned to cover it up, looking very tired.

But there are some things you can't escape just because you want to, like the start of school, like right now.

She hadn't walked more than a few steps when someone called out to her.

"Chagama (wait)."

She paused, turning back with a bewildered expression. "What's wrong, Unnie?"

"Come here." Lim Nayeon gestured with her chin, then moved closer to Yoo Jeongyeon and patted the empty sofa next to her.

"Okay." Knowing that pretending to be stupid wouldn't work, Minatozaki Sana pouted and could only turn around and obediently sit down in the empty seat.

"Where did you go with Cicadai?" Leaning gently against Yoo Jeongyeon's body, Lim Nayeon didn't beat around the bush and went straight to the point.

They were all very curious about the fact that Sana Minatozaki got into Pei Xiyan's car in the parking lot at that time (except for Son Chaeyoung).

If I'm not mistaken, they've only known each other for a little over a month, right? When did they become so close without anyone noticing?

"I had to go," Sana Minatozaki said vaguely.

"What is it?" Lim Nayeon twirled the ends of her hair that had fallen onto her clothes with her fingers.

"I just... went to see the night view." Sana Minatozaki blinked her big eyes a few times, her eyes sparkling with childlike innocence.

"Watching the night view late at night?" Yu Dingyan's expression was strange. After thinking about it, he realized that there was nothing wrong with it.

If you're not going to see the night view, are you going to look at the sun?

They also knew that Sana Minatozaki had a habit of looking at the night view. Sometimes, when she had a rare day off, she wouldn't think about going out to play. Instead, she would stay up until morning, then sleep until night, eat takeout, and then go to sit on the balcony, staring blankly at the lights outside the railing.

"Two people going to see the night view late at night?" Park Jihyo finished Yoo Jeongyeon's sentence with a knowing smile.

That dimly lit environment was perfect for something to happen.

Sana Minatozaki pouted. "It was just a normal night view."

"You're not dating Cicadai, are you?" Lim Nayeon lifted the end of her hair and stared at her suspiciously.

"How could that be?" Minatozaki Sana denied it outright.

"Then why would you go out with him alone so late at night?" Lin Na-yeon really couldn't understand it.

"Because I promised him before," Sana Minatozaki explained her reasoning. "Of course, you have to keep your promises."

"It's not like we're not allowed to date." Lim Nayeon glanced at Park Jihyo, then reached out and pinched Minatozaki Sana's still slightly chubby chin, which felt quite nice.

"Just tell us," she said.

She doesn't have much of an opinion about members dating, since the company's ban on it has passed. However, the key is to be honest with them, so that even if their relationship is exposed, they will be mentally prepared and can share the potential public opinion that may follow.

"We're just friends." Sana Minatozaki glanced at Jihyo Park furtively. "I'm not thinking about dating right now."

"Really?" Yoo Jeong-yeon raised an eyebrow.

"Really." Sana Minatozaki nodded firmly, then mentally set a deadline.

At least not for the next six months, she thought, because it was uncertain what would happen next year.

"But when did you and Cicadai become so close?" Lim Nayeon continued to ask. She didn't understand why it had only been a month. Although she knew that Minatozaki Sana was a very outgoing person, Pei Xiyan didn't seem to be.

Sana Minatosaki scratched her head. "It just... happened naturally."

This statement is as good as saying nothing at all.

Lim Nayeon wanted to ask something more, but Yoo Jeongyeon stopped her.

"Okay, okay, you're making us sound like a judge or lawyer interrogating a defendant." She pinched Lim Nayeon's neck, signaling her to stop. "Sana, go take a shower, and go to bed early after you're done. It's late."

"Yes." Sana Minatozaki nodded.

Watching Sana Minatozaki go to the bedroom, Nayeon turned to Jeongyeon with displeasure, "Why couldn't I ask again?"

"Sana sees some things much more clearly than we do," Yoo Jeong-yeon said. "If she's in a relationship, it's a result of her careful consideration."

"So we should just trust her."

Sana Minatozaki emerged from the steamy bathroom to find that the three people in the living room had left, leaving only the light on.

She looked around to make sure all the bedroom doors nearby were closed, then took out the hairdryer, turned it to the lowest setting, and sat on the sofa to slowly dry her hair.

The hairdryer hummed softly, continuously blasting hot air, which felt more comfortable on her body than on the mountaintop, but her heart didn't feel as warm.

Perhaps it's because the night view is gone.

But what struck her more was that the trench coat she was wearing was no longer on her.

Lost in thought, Sana dried her hair, turned off the living room light, and tiptoed back to her bedroom.

The dorm rooms are for three people each, and her roommates are Lim Na-yeon and Hirai Momo.

The bedroom was dimly lit. Hearing her come in, Lim Nayeon, who was still awake, turned on the flashlight on the back of her phone to provide light for her.

"Thank you, unnie."

By the light, Sana Minatozaki saw Momo Hirai sleeping soundly not far away. Her lips were slightly parted, revealing a little bit of her teeth, and she looked like she was sleeping very peacefully.

She smiled and went to her bed. Sitting on the edge of the bed, she kicked off her slippers, rolled over, and curled up the blankets underneath her, making her look like a silkworm.

Seeing this, Lim Nayeon smiled, turned off her flashlight, and said, "Goodnight, Sana."

"Goodnight, Onii~" Minatozaki Sana replied, then tucked her head under the covers and quietly turned on her phone.

Pei Xiyan has already sent a message.

[I'm home. Goodnight.]

[Good night.]

Sana Minatozaki put her phone under her pillow and stared at the flat, dark ceiling, as if she could see the dark night sky of Rakusan Park reflected in it.

She had a feeling she would have a good dream tonight.

Tonight's night view might appear in my dreams.

There will be people like this today.
