Xu Yanzhen stood at table number 8 carrying two boxes of pastries. She first handed the pastries to Jin He, then bowed slightly and said, "Thank you for not pursuing my students yesterday. Please accept this small token of my appreciation."
He then handed another box to Chu Qian: "Thank you for speaking up for me yesterday, thank you Chu Lu."
Chu Qian quickly stood up and took the gift box: "You're too kind. We're all friends, there's no need to be so polite."
Xu Yanzhen smiled and said, "We still need to be polite, otherwise Chu Lu will think I'm being disrespectful."
She sat down next to Chu Qian naturally, then handed the menu to Jin He: "Mr. Jin, what would you like to eat?"
