The Suddenly Appearing Aunt
Chapter 1 The Suddenly Appearing Aunt
[Brain Storage]
[This story features an unusual pairing: the female lead and Qian Daoliu (their romance will develop as they grow up). If you mind this, please do not read.]

Ye Jingqiu had never met his father.
Her mother passed away when she was three years old, but fortunately, Grandma Li, who was blind next door, adopted her.
Grandma Li is in poor health, but she has excellent shoemaking skills.
Uncle Ge, a kind man from the same village, would always help Grandma Li sell her shoelaces when he went to town to sell vegetables.
This meager income enabled Grandma Li to successfully raise Ye Jingqiu from the age of three to six.
Six-year-old Ye Jingqiu learned some basic pharmacology from the village doctor. She would always go up the back mountain to collect herbs, and then go to town with Uncle Ge to sell the herbs to supplement the family income.
Ye Jingqiu wiped the sweat from her forehead, carried her basket on her back, and walked down the mountain. The village where she lived was very remote, in a small principality whose name she didn't know.
However, she is quite satisfied with her current life. The herbs she picked today are enough to exchange for some noodles, which she can then use to cook noodles for her grandmother.
Thinking of this, Ye Jingqiu's footsteps quickened and became lighter as she hurried down the mountain.
Upon arriving at the village entrance, Ye Jingqiu's large eyes were filled with confusion.
A six-year-old child doesn't understand much, but Ye Jingqiu could sense that something was wrong with the situation in the village.
Outside the village, there was a carriage, adorned with jewels. Ye Jingqiu had never seen such a luxurious carriage before, even in the town.
The village was surrounded by soldiers in armor, holding long swords, who looked menacing.
However, perhaps because of her young age, Ye Jingqiu was unaware that several villagers, like her, had just returned to the village from outside.
The adults had probably never seen such a scene before; they stood at the village entrance with pale faces, not daring to go any further.
At this moment, Ye Jingqiu's mind was only on her grandmother. Her grandmother was old and in poor health, and she wanted to go back to see her as soon as possible.
As Ye Jingqiu walked past the soldiers, a hint of surprise flashed in their eyes. There were very few civilians these days who could ignore them, even a commoner child.
Ye Jingqiu was not tall, but he was carrying a basket twice his size on his back. Although he was a little tired, he felt very satisfied.
She walked quickly toward her wooden house.
Ye Jingqiu stopped in his tracks as he reached the door.
Two very tall people stood on either side. One was dressed in black, and although his face was obscured, it was still possible to tell from various angles that he was a man.
The other person was dressed in white, with a seductive appearance, looking both like a man and a woman.
However, it wasn't right for these two to just block her doorway like that.
Ye Jingqiu spoke up, "Uncle, Uncle and Sister, could you please move aside? You're blocking the way."
The man in white pointed at himself incredulously and asked, "Are you calling me 'uncle' or 'sister'? What does 'uncle' or 'sister' mean?"
Ye Jingqiu looked at him and didn't know how to explain for a moment.
The man in white said, "Little girl, remember I'm your uncle. If you call me that again, I'll beat you up."
The man in black chuckled softly, but he was the first to step aside, followed by the man in white. Before Ye Jingqiu could even enter, the door was opened from the inside.
What came into view was a magnificent robe adorned with jewelry that Ye Jingqiu had never seen before. Looking further up, he saw a man with black hair, exquisite features, and deep purple eyes, but the way he looked at Ye Jingqiu was incredibly gentle.
Ye Jingqiu took back what she had just said. This person was the most beautiful she had ever seen in her life. But why did she come from her own home?
Ye Jingqiu felt something was strange. She looked up and her eyes were bright. Like Bi Bidong, Ye Jingqiu also had black hair, which was jet black and shiny, like a silk ribbon.
The only difference is that Ye Jingqiu's eyes are golden, looking like stars.
"You're Ye Jingqiu?"
"Sister, are you here to see Grandma?"
Bibi Dong and Ye Jingqiu spoke almost simultaneously.
"I am Ye Jingqiu." Upon hearing this, Ye Jingqiu tilted her head and looked at Bibi Dong with some confusion, not understanding what the other party meant.
Bibi Dong shook her head, looked at Ye Jingqiu with a gentle expression, and said softly, "I came to find you, and I'm not your older sister."
The latest novel is first published here!
"Qiuqiu, it's your auntie. I've come to take you home."
Upon hearing this, Ye Jingqiu's eyes widened in shock.
Unbeknownst to her, Chrysanthemum Douluo behind her was also staring at her in disbelief.
Who would understand? The little girl who was just moments ago so disdainful suddenly transformed into the child her boss had been searching for.
"Are you my mother's?" Ye Jingqiu asked, puzzled.
Bibi Dong sighed deeply and looked intently at Ye Jingqiu, but it seemed as if she wasn't looking at him at all, as if she was looking at something else entirely.
"I am your mother's older sister. I have already heard about your mother's situation from Grandma Li. It was my fault back then. I had some disagreements with your mother, which led to her running away from home."
As she spoke, a flash of sadness crossed Bibi Dong's eyes. "It's my fault. It took me so many years to find you and your mother, and you two have suffered so much injustice over the years."
Ye Jingqiu tilted her head to look at Bibi Dong, but dared not easily believe what she said. She asked, "Are you really my aunt?"
Bibi Dong nodded solemnly and said, "I have been looking for you for many years. I only came to find you after I had completely confirmed your identity. You can rest assured about that."
Ye Jingqiu remained silent. She had only her mother by her side since she was a child, and after her mother died, she only had Grandma Li. She had envied the children in the village who had parents, but sometimes envy was useless.
Bibi Dong seemed to see Ye Jingqiu's hesitation. She squatted down, looked at her with affection, and said, "Qiuqiu, you've suffered these past few years without your mother by your side. Come back with your aunt. Your aunt will treat you well."
Ye Jingqiu shook her head and smiled, "I do miss my mother, but I'm not upset. Grandma Li is very good to me and loves me like her own granddaughter."
Looking at the small child before her, Bibi Dong was touched. She said softly, "Grandma Li is getting old. How about I take her and Qiuqiu back with me? There will be someone to take care of Grandma Li there, and I'll take care of her in her old age, okay?"
Ye Jingqiu tilted his head to look at Bibi Dong, and asked hesitantly, "Is it really okay?"
"Of course you can." Bibi Dong reached out and patted Ye Jingqiu's head with a smile.
