Chapter 9

Evil Moon, Yan

Chapter 9 Evil Moon, Yan

There are two beds inside the dormitory room.

The luxuriousness of the dormitory goes without saying.

However, Ye Jingqiu had seen a lot in the Spirit Hall, so he was now quite accepting of it and was no longer as surprised as he was when he first entered the Grand View Garden.

The room had two tables, cabinets, and beds, but there were obvious signs that someone had lived there.

Ye Jingqiu carried his luggage to the empty bed and arranged it neatly. Bibi Dong had prepared everything meticulously, from small school supplies to large daily necessities.

By the time everything was packed up, the sun was already setting.

Just then, a sound came from outside the door. Ye Jingqiu quickly got up from the bed. She had never been to school, and no one her age wanted to play with her in the village.

For Ye Jingqiu, everything within the Spirit Hall and the Spirit Hall Academy was a brand new beginning.

She was incredibly excited about everything at this moment and hoped to make some friends.

The door opened, and a person with golden hair, an oval face, and a high nose bridge appeared to be about the same age as Ye Jingqiu.

When the girl saw Ye Jingqiu, she was clearly stunned for a moment, then a friendly smile appeared on her lips.

She quickly closed the door, went inside, put her things on the table, and walked towards Ye Jingqiu. "You must be the new student? I'm your roommate, Hu Liena."

As she spoke, Hu Liena extended her hand. As someone who had always lived in the center of bullying, Ye Jingqiu was very perceptive of the malice others harbored towards her.

But it was clear at that moment that the girl in front of her, who was the same age as her, had no ill intentions towards her.

Ye Jingqiu slowly extended his hand. "My name is Ye Jingqiu. It's a pleasure to meet you."

Hu Liena nodded emphatically and said with a smile, "I'm from Class 1 of Plastics, what about you?"

"Me too!" Before tidying up her room, Ye Jingqiu had already carefully looked through her admission notice and the bag the dormitory manager had given her.

Hearing this, Hu Liena nodded excitedly, "Great! From now on, we can go to the classroom and eat together!"

Ye Jingqiu was taken aback for a moment, but then nodded, a smile involuntarily creeping onto her lips. "Okay!"

Girls' friendships are generally established very easily and quickly; by the time the sun has completely set, the two have already launched their friendship.

Hu Liena linked arms with Ye Jingqiu and the two walked together toward the cafeteria.

"My brother should be here too. I'll introduce you two. He's in the same class as us, so you'll be classmates from now on."

Ye Jingqiu turned to look at Hu Liena. She could clearly see that when Hu Liena mentioned her brother, her eyes were filled with pride.

For some reason, Ye Jingqiu felt a little envious.

When she was in the village, she had seen other children being bullied and their older siblings would stand up for them, but she was always alone.

Ye Jingqiu nodded and said, "Okay!"

Inside the cafeteria, most of the people were already seated. Ye Jingqiu's gaze fell on the badges on everyone's chests.

Everyone was wearing the same white clothes with gold trim, but the colors of their badges were different. Hers was white, while others had black or green badges.

Perhaps sensing Ye Jingqiu's curiosity, Hu Liena spoke up, "The medal represents the level a person is in; white represents the plastic level we are currently in."

Ye Jingqiu nodded thoughtfully and said, "If that's the case, why didn't I see any Silver-level seniors?"

Hu Liena gave Ye Jingqiu a wink and then lowered her voice, saying, "There are very few Silver-level individuals. Most of them choose to serve the Spirit Hall when they are at the Bronze level. The few remaining Silver-level individuals have their own canteen and don't eat with us."

As soon as she finished speaking, Hu Liena's gaze fell on a spot not far away. She waved in that direction, "My brother has already saved a seat. What would you like to eat?"

Ye Jingqiu turned her head and her gaze fell on the noodle counter next to her. Following her gaze, Hu Liena said, "Come on, I'll go with you."

There were too many people earlier, so Ye Jingqiu didn't see clearly. But when he got closer, he realized that there were actually two people sitting there.

One eye was red, the other had short silver hair with a strand of hair that gradually turned red at the ends, and red butterfly patterns appeared at the corners of the eyes.

He had red hair, delicate features, and even his eyes were red. He also had a red line on his face.

After placing the food on the table, Hu Liena took the noodles with soybean paste from Ye Jingqiu's hand and placed them on the empty seat next to her.

After finishing, she took Ye Jingqiu's hand, looked at the two of them, and said, "This is my good friend and roommate, Ye Jingqiu! She's also a new student in our class!"

good friend.

Ye Jingqiu was slightly taken aback, but after realizing what was happening, a smile bloomed on her lips, as bright as spring flowers. "Hello, my name is Ye Jingqiu."

The silver-haired boy was taken aback for a moment, then stood up first and said with a friendly smile, "Hello, I am Hu Liena's older brother, Xie Yue."

The latest novel is first published here!

The red-haired boy then said smugly, "Yan."

Even so, Ye Jingqiu could still clearly sense that neither of them harbored any ill will towards her.

Hu Liena pulled Ye Jingqiu to sit down, "If you don't understand anything in the future, just ask me."

Yan, however, mercilessly exposed Hu Liena, saying, "It's only been three months since school started, and you still have to ask Xie Yue and me about everything. How dare you take on so much work already?"

Hu Liena rolled her eyes at him and turned to Ye Jingqiu, saying, "You can ask my brother too."

Xie Yue nodded immediately. "We're all classmates. Just like Nana said, you can ask me if you don't understand anything."

Ye Jingqiu nodded emphatically upon hearing this. "Thank you!"

The three of them treated Ye Jingqiu very well. Although Yan seemed a bit cold on the surface, he answered all of Ye Jingqiu's questions.

That's probably just his temperament.

The boys' dormitory and the girls' dormitory were far apart, and the four of them quickly separated.

When Ye Jingqiu returned to his dormitory, he found Hu Liena looking at him with a hesitant expression.

Ye Jingqiu looked at her, puzzled, and asked, "What's wrong, Nana?"

Hu Liena lowered her head and said, "Qiuqiu, I don't mean anything by it, but it's best if you don't act like you know the three of us when we get to the classroom."

After a pause, worried that Ye Jingqiu might misunderstand, Hu Liena explained, "Qiuqiu, don't worry, you've always been my good friend, it's just..."

Hu Liena hesitated, as if she had something difficult to say.

Ye Jingqiu frowned slightly. There must be something hidden here. Why pretend not to know the three people as soon as they entered the classroom?

However, being new to the place and having just met the group, it wasn't appropriate to pry into other people's secrets. After hesitating for a while, Ye Jingqiu nodded.
