Tencent Video's "Actors, Please Take Your Seats"
Chapter 178 Tencent Video's "Actors, Please Take Your Seats"
The team also began to organize the details of the upcoming contract negotiations. Based on Fan Bingbing's status, the team's requirement was to ensure that she would be the center position among the thirty sisters!
Meanwhile, in another corner, Wang Xinling's team also received the relevant news.
Wang Xinling's agent told her somewhat dejectedly, "Xinling, it seems we won't be able to get on that variety show with Cool Cat that you were interested in."
"You were originally slated to be one of the thirty sisters, but a few days ago the attitude of the director of the Cool Cat Artist Department was a bit subtle. I sounded out that there is a high probability that your position will be replaced by Fan Bingbing, a top female star from that side."
"When Director Wang told me, although it hadn't been officially confirmed at the meeting, given your and Fan Bingbing's status and influence, as long as she made this suggestion, there was no doubt that this matter was settled."
Wang Xinling really liked the show, so she was slightly disappointed when she heard her agent say that.
However, in reality, she has been out of fashion for a long time and is no match for Fan Bingbing.
Moreover, even if she did appear on the show, given her popularity and status, she would probably just be a supporting character or a runner-up.
"Since we're not meant to be, we won't force it."
Just when Wang Xinling and her agent were about to give up.
The production team of "Sisters Who Make Waves" sent Wang Xinling a formal invitation and a related contract.
protocol.
The agent was shocked when he saw the contents of the agreement.
"Mind, I didn't see that wrong, did I? Cool Cat actually gave us the highest rating, and your reward is also in the top tier among all thirty sisters."
"The production team will give you plenty of screen time, and your role will definitely be in the top tier."
"Oh no, really?"
Wang Xinling was somewhat flattered.
The agent was also somewhat incredulous and immediately called the director of the artist department at Coolcat to verify the situation.
The agent was extremely pleased after making the call.
"Soul, it seems you've truly met a benefactor this time."
"KuMiao's boss, Mr. Tang, personally approved your selection. In order to use you, he ruthlessly rejected Fan Bingbing's team."
"Since President Tang thinks so highly of you, you should work hard and fully showcase yourself on stage."
The agent was thrilled; if Wang Xinling really did regain popularity through this program, she would naturally benefit as well.
Wang Xinling was also very happy; being recognized and having a firm choice is always something to be delighted and proud of.
However, Wang Xinling was somewhat puzzled as to why President Tang thought so highly of her.
"Regardless of the outcome, do your best from now on."
Wang Xinling is naturally full of energy, and although she is getting older, she can still exude a very sweet charm.
Wang Xinling posted directly on her Weibo: "Looking forward to the official recording of 'Sisters Who Make Waves,' go Xinling!"
Her last Weibo post was three months ago, promoting her new song, and it received fewer than a thousand comments.
This Weibo post, which was featured on the show, only received a few scattered views immediately after it was published.
The comments on Fan Bingbing's side are completely different from those on the other side, one is on heaven and the other is on earth.
Magic City.
Fan Bingbing's studio was furious after receiving a formal reply from KuMiao.
"Did Coolcat refuse the cooperation?"
"Did that Tang Lou really say that? That he rejected Bingbing for Wang Xinling?"
The agent couldn't understand why they would give such a response.
Shouldn't it be Coolcat that comes running over eagerly to sign the agreement and express their welcome?
This directly disrupted the team's rhythm.
Fan Bingbing is undoubtedly the queen of the Chinese entertainment industry, and of course she has her pride.
"Wang Xinling? This washed-up actress, everyone says that this Tanglou has an extraordinary eye for talent, but it seems she's nothing special."
"We originally planned to use this variety show to deepen our cooperation with Youku, but since they're not giving us face, we'll contact Tencent next."
"From now on, we will not accept any more collaborations with KuMiao. Although KuMiao Video is currently in the lead, Tencent Video is deeply entrenched. Given time, it's hard to say who will ultimately hold the top spot as the video platform."
Upon hearing Fan Bingbing's decision, the team members immediately sprang into action.
KuMiao Video is a big platform, but it's still too inexperienced to handle a top-tier actress like Fan Bingbing.
Besides, it's just a variety show on KuMiao, so Fan Bingbing doesn't really care about it.
"That's right, it's just an online variety show, not some top-tier resource. We don't care about it."
"It's the production team's loss that they missed out on us."
"If we communicate with Tencent and find a suitable project, we can work together to announce that I will join the Tencent Video project. Due to scheduling conflicts, I declined the invitation to 'Sisters Who Make Waves'."
The agent and assistant's eyes lit up. Indeed, Cool Cat and Penguin were mortal enemies.
Finding Tencent Video to suppress KuMei is the most suitable option.
Fan Bingbing wanted to tell the outside world that it was she who looked down on KuMiao, not that she was rejected.
After the agent contacted Tencent Video, it turned out that a major variety show was indeed in preparation.
"Bingbing, Tencent Video is developing an S+ level variety show called 'Actors, Please Take Your Seats.' The investment in this show is no less than that of 'Sisters Who Make Waves.'"
"Moreover, the program has already confirmed the invitation of several top directors, including Chen Kaige and Li Shaohong."
"If you go, you can definitely be a special guest and enhance the show's influence."
"The production team of 'Actors, Please Take Your Seats' warmly welcomes your participation and is very sincere in their offer."
The stark contrast between their attitudes and those of Coolcat made Fan Bingbing and her team feel proud.
Although Fan Bingbing personally prefers "Sisters Who Make Waves," joining "Actors, Please Take Your Seats" now gives her...
A response from Coolcat would be the most satisfying thing to do.
Fan Bingbing immediately arranged for her agent to contact them. Clearly, given Fan Bingbing's influence and status, the negotiations went very smoothly.
Two days later, the entertainment headline read:
Fan Bingbing declines Kuaishou's S+ level variety show offer, but confirms joining Tencent Video's new variety show "Actors, Please Take Your Seats".
The article, citing an "insider," revealed that Fan Bingbing had to give up "Sisters Who Make Waves" due to scheduling conflicts, and has now reached an agreement with Tencent Video to officially join the program "Actors, Please Take Your Seats" as a special guest!
In the comments section, fans were ecstatic: "Tencent Video really came out on top, they got Fan Bingbing!"
"Without Bingbing, that show 'Cool Cat' is half as entertaining!"
"Looking forward to Bingbing's appearance on 'Actors, Please Take Your Seats'!"
In the corner of this news article, there was a line of small print: "It is reported that Wang Xinling and other guests have been confirmed for 'Sisters Who Make Waves,' and the show will begin recording soon."
Young people hardly pay attention to Wang Xinling, this has-been idol.
