Chapter 18
Professor, I really want to improve!
This Charms class was attended by Ravenclaw and Gryffindor students together.
Ethan arrived almost an hour early.
When he entered the classroom, sure enough, there was no one else inside except him.
Ethan looked around the classroom with curiosity.
The classroom is tiered, with two rows of long tables surrounding the podium.
Tall bookshelves stood on both sides. When Ethan walked over, he saw that most of them were textbooks used in schools, as well as teaching aids such as three-dimensional magic models.
Ethan sat in the first row closest to the podium, opened his book, and read with great interest.
Ravenclaw took the first Charms class with Gryffindor.
Ethan was the first to enter the classroom.
He immediately chose a seat in the first row, opened his textbook, and reviewed what he was going to learn that day.
The clock ticked away.
About half an hour later, the second student finally came in.
"Ethan?"
Hearing the surprised cry, Ethan turned around and, unsurprisingly, saw Hermione, the Rolling King.
A top student who single-handedly raised the IQ of the trio.
"Good morning, Hermione," Ethan said with a smile. "You're here early."
"..."
Hermione didn't know what to say.
She thought that arriving half an hour early was already quite early.
But to her surprise, Ethan arrived even earlier than her!
He is both talented and hardworking.
That's a really tough opponent.
Hermione gave Ethan a deep look, filled with both apprehension and admiration.
Then he sat down on the Gryffindor side, slammed his book down, and began to study.
Ouch—the way this girl is looking at me, it's like she wants to eat me alive?
Ethan scratched his head in confusion, not thinking about it much.
Oh dear, the world of the King of Rolls is beyond our comprehension!
The third person to arrive was Professor Flitwick.
Professor Flitwick was taken aback to see that some students had arrived even earlier than him, then he laughed happily.
"Because of your diligence, Gryffindor and Ravenclaw will each receive two points."
Hermione's eyes lit up immediately, and she was about to say "Thank you, Professor" when Ethan spoke up:
"No matter how hard we young people work, we still need your guidance, teacher, so that we won't get lost in the ocean of knowledge."
As he spoke, Ethan exuded an air of righteous indignation.
Hermione turned her head sharply and looked at him in disbelief.
Is this still the same Ethan who speaks like he's from the underworld?!
Yizai, you feel like a stranger to me.
Professor Flitwick was also stunned, having never heard of such a thing before, and his face immediately turned red.
Hey, look at this kid, why does he always blurt out the absolute truth?
"Ahem, Ethan, as long as you maintain this thirst for knowledge and don't go astray, you will definitely reach your goal."
Professor Flitwick stammered words of encouragement.
He quickly changed the subject.
"So—do you have any other questions? There's still some time before class starts, so I can answer them for you."
Upon hearing this, Hermione's eyes lit up again.
It wasn't just one question; she had a whole host of questions she wanted to ask!
But this time, she didn't speak immediately; instead, she looked at Ethan first.
Sure enough, Ethan also seemed to have questions to ask.
Hermione's attention was highly focused, and even Professor Flitwick couldn't help but feel nervous, wondering what profound question Ethan was going to ask.
Ethan: "Professor, I want to make money."
Hermione: "...?"
What? What is that?
For a moment, Hermione thought Ethan was using some profound code.
It was something she, a Muggle-born little wizard, wouldn't understand.
However, when Hermione saw that Professor Flitwick also looked bewildered, she realized that it wasn't her problem.
"Make money?"
Professor Flitwick seemed to be encountering such a down-to-earth question for the first time, and it took him two or three seconds to react.
"Oh, so you want to work at school, right?"
His gaze unconsciously swept over Ethan's worn-out school uniform.
Ethan nodded.
"That's easy. Hogwarts has commissions specifically for students, like running errands for professors, collecting materials, and so on."
"These requests will all be posted on the bulletin board in the auditorium on Monday morning. Since it's the first day of school, they may not be posted yet."
"Go check again at noon, it should be there by then."
Ethan nodded: "Okay, I understand. Thank you, Professor."
He said.
How could Hogwarts not have "work-study programs"!
While helping the professor with odd jobs to earn pocket money, I also learned knowledge.
This is likely a method Hogwarts devised to promote the learning of young wizards.
The three then discussed the casting of the spell for a while.
Ethan was more interested in the three-dimensional model of magic, which was the basic principle of spells.
Having received an education in his previous life, he was also better able to understand those complex three-dimensional models.
Soon after, the Gryffindor students finally rushed into the classroom just in time.
"Alright, children," Professor Flitwick said, "before we officially begin the lesson, let's take attendance."
When Harry's name was called, Professor Flitwick screamed like a little girl chasing after a star and fell off the stack of books.
"Yugadim-Levio↓Sa".
Ethan waved his wand, grabbed Professor Flitwick's clothes, and pulled him back from mid-air.
"Perfect levitation spell! Ravenclaw, two points!"
Professor Flitwick said excitedly, his eyes filled with admiration as he looked at Ethan.
This is a student from our own college! A rising star of Ravenclaw!
Professor Frivi was incredibly proud.
On the other side, Hermione gripped her wand tightly in frustration.
In the following lessons, the little girl answered questions with all her might, leaving Professor Flitwick somewhat stumped.
"Look at her!" Ron whispered to Harry. "Look at Ethan, how humble and modest he is! I bet he knows everything the professor teaches!"
Harry looked at Ron, whose eyes were sparkling, and chuckled softly, "When did you become Ethan's little fanboy?"
"I didn't—!" Ron retorted instinctively, then muttered, "That, that's just human nature..."
"Hahaha."
Compared to the witty banter on the Gryffindor side...
Ravenclaw is taking this much more seriously.
To put it bluntly, every child who enters Ravenclaw believes they are smarter than others.
However, looking at Ethan sitting in the front row, his back seemed to stand alone, isolated from the world.
They felt a deep sense of urgency.
Check it out!
Others are more talented than you, and they also work harder than you.
How could you possibly be slacking off like that!
then.
A quiet competition for the title of "King of the Roll" gradually unfolded among the young eagles.
roll!
Roll them all up!!
On the podium, Professor Flitwick looked at those extremely focused faces and couldn't help but be deeply moved.
He had a premonition.
This will be a Ravenclaw generation that rises to prominence.
......
"Clang—Clang—"
As the deep, melodious bells of Hogwarts rang, the two consecutive Charms classes came to an end.
For Ethan, this period of time passed in the blink of an eye.
Looking at the scribbles-like notes in his textbook, he couldn't help but admire Hogwarts' teaching standards.
As expected of the best magic school in Britain, they explained the obscure and difficult content in the textbooks very thoroughly.
Although the first lesson only gave a general overview of the evolution of spells and the logic behind casting them.
But Ethan still benefited greatly.
He played with the wand, feeling the mysterious flow of magic within his body, the tip of the wand occasionally flashing with brilliant light.
Perhaps, in terms of grades, he wasn't number one.
But in terms of actual combat, Ethan believes that no one of his age can defeat him.
