Chapter 12
We Didn't
Su Qiu was completely unaware of the uproar online about "Slap Sister" as she walked out of the auction hall.
She got into a taxi, leaned back in the seat, closed her eyes to rest, and said to Xiao Xitian in her mind:
"Little Western Paradise, hurry up and transfer K's memories to me."
"Host, you're all set," Xiao Xitian replied. "The memories will include K's original strength information. The transmission process might be a little painful, so please be prepared."
Su Qiu nodded: "Let's go."
The next second, a sharp pain shot into my mind, as if countless needles were stabbing me at the same time.
Unfamiliar fragments of memory surged in like a tide.
The cutthroat competition in business negotiations, the life-or-death struggles in back alleys, the intricate workings of a vast industry...
Those memories merged with her own consciousness in a strange and unfamiliar way, as if she had really been "K" for decades.
A moment later, the stinging pain subsided.
Su Qiu's face was as pale as paper, and cold sweat beaded on her forehead.
The taxi driver in the front seat glanced in the rearview mirror and couldn't help but ask with concern:
"Are you alright, beautiful? Your face is so pale. Do you need to go to the hospital?"
Having recovered, Su Qiu waved her hand, her voice a little hoarse:
"No need, it's an old problem, it'll be fine in a bit."
"You're so young but already have so many health problems. It's really tough being young these days..."
The driver was a kind-hearted uncle who started chatting, from gas prices to the weather.
Seeing that Su Qiu was only responding half-heartedly and had no real interest, he reluctantly shut his mouth.
Little Western Heaven cautiously asked in her mind, "Host, how are you feeling now?"
Su Qiu opened his eyes, his expression even colder than before, a lingering hint of hostility between his brows:
"I think it's time for revenge."
Before Xiao Xitian could react, Su Qiu had already picked up her phone and, relying on her newly acquired memory, dialed a number she knew by heart.
The phone rang a few times before being answered, but there was no sound from the other end for a long time, only the faint sound of breathing.
Su Qiu's tone was calm, yet carried an undeniable air of authority:
"Silver Fox, it's me."
An overwhelming surge of emotion welled up from the other end of the phone, the voice even trembling with tears:
"Boss! I knew you weren't dead! I knew it..."
Su Qiu's lips curled up slightly, forming a strange arc:
"I'll be back soon, wait for me."
"Yes, boss!"
After hanging up the phone, Xiao Xitian interjected, trembling:
"Host, are you alright? Why do you seem... different? It's a little scary..."
At this moment, the aura emanating from Su Qiu was cold and sharp, sending chills down one's spine.
The driver in the front seat also became inexplicably nervous, quietly swallowing and wondering to himself:
What's going on? I was fine just now, but suddenly I feel a chill on the back of my neck, like the Grim Reaper is watching me.
Su Qiu closed his eyes to rest, and said calmly:
"It's alright. I'm K now, so naturally I have to do what K is supposed to do."
"Host, you've worked hard." Little Xitian dared not say anything more.
Midway through the journey, Su Qiu asked the driver to change the destination: "To the airport."
She's going to Florida.
That's where K's headquarters are located.
The driver was initially impatient with the temporary detour and muttered a few words about how far the journey was.
But when Su Qiu handed over a wad of cash as she got out of the car, his complaints vanished instantly.
After Su Qiu's figure disappeared into the distance, the driver counted the money in his hand and couldn't help but curse under his breath:
"Damn, two thousand yuan? This is a rich guy!"
So that creepy feeling I just had wasn't death, it was the God of Wealth!
……
Meanwhile, Shen Yi woke up from a chaotic nightmare.
In my dream, all I saw was Su Qiu's ferocious face, filled with an almost insane possessiveness.
The surrounding area was filled with eerie red flowers, exuding an aura of danger and violence.
He sat up abruptly, and the unfamiliar room left him stunned for a while before he came to his senses.
"Hold!"
A sharp pain, as if his limbs and bones had been disassembled and reassembled, shot through Shen Yi's body. He gasped in pain, his brows furrowed, and his eyes reddened.
"Su Qiu! I will definitely kill you!"
The sticky feeling all over his body made him extremely uncomfortable, and he cursed under his breath:
"That stupid woman, she just left after she was done, couldn't she even let me wash up?"
Dried bloodstains remained on the bed and on his body.
Especially on the lower back and inner thighs, the scabs that form on the skin fall off at the slightest touch.
Recalling Su Qiu's crazed state at the end, Shen Yi couldn't help but shudder.
"He's absolutely insane!"
He was now like prey marked by a hunter, his whole body covered in the other's scent, making him both angry and inexplicably irritable.
Shen Yi tried to get up to take a shower, but the pain almost made him fall over as soon as he moved.
He was both ashamed and angry, and dared not call out to anyone.
If others saw him in this disheveled state, it would be worse than killing him.
With no other option, he could only endure the pain and slowly move off the bed.
As soon as he regained his footing, his legs gave way and he fell to the ground with a thud.
The fall was so painful that his vision blurred and he felt like his bones were about to break.
"Su Qiu!"
Shen Yi was furious, but he could only grit his teeth and endure it, crawling into the bathroom on his hands and feet and soaking himself in the warm water.
The water washed over his body, and the dried bloodstains slowly dissolved.
As Shen Yi scrubbed and washed, he cursed under his breath, "That bastard, I'm going to kill you! Kill you!"
As he continued cursing, a question arose in his mind: How could a woman have ****?
Is it a unique, innate physical structure?
How come I've never heard of this before?
Is this why Su Qiu was kicked out of the Su family?
But the key is ******.
It's gotten really messy.
Thinking of this, Shen Yi's cheeks flushed red. He was both ashamed and angry, and couldn't help but clench his fist and slam it into the water in the bathtub, splashing water everywhere.
"This is infuriating!"
……
Shen Yi soaked in the water for a while before his discomfort subsided, but walking still became a problem.
We can only proceed cautiously, step by step.
The man finally found his phone, only to find it was switched off. He assumed it had run out of battery.
Once I plugged it in and turned it on, countless messages popped up on WeChat, along with many unfamiliar phone numbers.
"Buzz!"
Just then, my phone rang; it was from an unknown number.
Shen Yi had just brought the phone to his ear and hadn't even had a chance to speak when he heard Su Qian's tearful voice through the receiver, a voice so familiar that it softened his heart.
"Brother Shen Yi, you finally answered the phone! Why did you block my number? You deleted me on WeChat too... Did I do something wrong?"
Su Qian's voice was aggrieved and urgent, "When I called you earlier, there was a woman's voice next to me, and she even cursed at me..."
Shen Yi's initial joy at receiving the phone call instantly cooled upon hearing the word "woman".
He knew without even thinking that it was Su Qiu, that madwoman, who was responsible.
"That woman also said... that you're hers, that you two are already..."
Su Qian's voice choked with emotion, and the rest of her words were left unsaid, but they were full of implications.
"No! Qianqian, we didn't!" Shen Yi immediately interrupted sharply, his tone resolute and unquestionable.
"Don't listen to her nonsense. I'll kill her. Don't worry, I definitely will!"
The thought of Su Qiu's arrogant demeanor and his own disheveled state made his eyes turn sinister.
