Chapter 12

My brother, I'm a decent person.

Looking at her pretty face, Chen Huan said earnestly, "Any decent man would be attracted to you, including me."

"But what you just said really hurt me. I saw that you were very warm and patient with me, so I thought I would repay you."

"If you don't believe me, then forget it."

His words left the older sister speechless.

Embarrassed to the point of blushing slightly, she quickly replied, "I was just kidding. You want to touch me, no, you want to give me a massage, right? Come on."

"If you press the button well, I'll give you a discount on your phone."

He then stepped out from behind the counter, sat on the round stool next to it, and straightened his chest with his back to Chen Huan.

Standing there, Chen Huan didn't need to deliberately look at her; he could simply follow the gaps in the suspenders to see the beauty that the older woman was hiding.

The person is too slender, so the scale doesn't seem that abundant.

But Chen Huan only glanced at it before becoming restless and agitated.

"Keep calm, don't act like a greenhorn who's never seen the world." Chen Huan frowned and muttered under his breath.

The older sister turned her head to the side, "What did you say? What egg? What melon?"

"It's nothing, I'm about to start, relax." Chen Huan gently turned the other person's pretty face around.

Next, loosen up your finger joints and circulate your internal energy to your fingertips. Then, massage the acupoints near the other person's cervical spine with varying depths of pressure.

The older sister couldn't help but hum in agreement; it was truly a captivating and alluring sight, so much so that Chen Huan broke out in a sweat.

"Ahem, please tone it down a bit, this is a proper massage," Chen Huan said earnestly.

The older sister laughed so hard her legs trembled. "You made me feel so good, I couldn't help myself."

The massage only lasted a few minutes, but the older sister felt incredibly satisfied.

Even after it was over, they were still a little unsatisfied. They nimbly turned their necks and their eyes shone. "It really worked! I feel almost completely healed."

"I've seen so many massage therapists and taken so much medicine for my cervical spine problem, but nothing works. How are you so amazing?"

Chen Huan smiled slightly. "It's a family heirloom."

The older sister readily gave me a discount.

Chen Huan spent 1,500 yuan to buy two second-hand phones and also used his ID card to get phone cards.

"If you have any problems with your phone or need anything else in the future, remember to come to me." The older sister warmly saw Chen Huan to the door and even winked at him playfully.

Chen Huan didn't dare to think too much and left quickly.

A moment later, Chen Huan reappeared in front of Li Chunlan.

He was carrying many bags and packages.

Chicken, duck, fish, meat, vegetables, and fruits are all available.

"Why did you buy so much? Money doesn't last long. What will you do when it's all gone?" Li Chunlan frowned.

"I'll earn the money when I run out, so don't worry about it."

"It's getting late, let's find a place to have lunch. I'll treat you to a meal at a restaurant," Chen Huan changed the subject.

Li Chunlan quickly waved her hand, "No, let's hurry back. We bought so much food, it would be better if I cooked for you. It would save money and be more hygienic."

Unable to reason with them, Chen Huan secured the items to the bicycle and accompanied the two women as they prepared to leave the market and go home.

As soon as they reached the exit, several people with dark faces surrounded them.

"Oh, so you're here to get revenge because you're not satisfied?" Chen Huan frowned slightly.

Among the people opposite, one stood out: he had dark skin, was shirtless, and had a roughly drawn wolf's head tattooed on his chest.

It was the same hoodlum I'd taught a lesson for taking up a spot before.

"You little bastard, I've finally managed to shut you up."

"Didn't expect to find you here, did you? Are you ready to get beaten up?" The gangster, along with a few thug-like cronies, staggered closer and closer.

Before the person even got close, they started threatening him arrogantly.

"What's wrong, Chen Huan? What do they do?" Li Chunlan and Zhao Liping were so frightened that their legs went weak, and they hurriedly asked what was wrong.

"You two step back a little, I'll take care of this soon," Chen Huan replied calmly, then took two steps forward.

At this point, the gangster and his accomplices had gotten close.

Someone arrogantly lifted his shirt, revealing a butterfly knife tucked into his waistband, the threat quite obvious.

"Hey kid, I heard you beat up my brother and stole his stall?"

"Wow, that's impressive! Which village are you from? Who are you with?"

"How much money are you planning to spend to deal with this today...?"

This guy, he's got a whole bunch of social slang right off the bat, he does it with incredible ease.

The others around him were all acting all high and mighty, convinced that Chen Huan would be completely at their mercy.

As a result, Chen Huan acted swiftly, drawing the leader's knife from his waist in an instant.

It opened deftly, then swiped twice quickly.

The man felt a chill in his crotch, looked down and saw that his pants had fallen down.

Chen Huan toyed with the butterfly knife and teased, "Quite childlike, wearing Doraemon underwear."

"Damn!" The man immediately covered his groin and backed away, his face full of surprise and embarrassment.

"What are you all standing there for? Let's all go and take him down!" The shirtless gangster, seeing things were getting out of hand, immediately gave the order.

The remaining few people were shouting and wanted to rush forward.

"Shallow waters teem with turtles, and big shots abound."

"You bunch of losers, and you think you can go to great lengths for each other?" Chen Huan teased as he rushed into the crowd.

The blades flashed, and figures moved swiftly.

A few seconds later he was out unharmed, but the other guys, including the gangster, had their belts ripped and their pants torn.

One by one, they exposed their buttocks in the street.

"Chen Huan, you're really something, how can you be so mean?" Zhao Liping couldn't help but cover her mouth and laugh.

Li Chunlan couldn't help but smile, all her tension vanishing.

She was just a little curious as to why her brother-in-law, who used to be somewhat timid, had become so fierce after recovering from his mental illness.

It wasn't just about being fierce on the kang (heated brick bed)...

Chen Huan, fiddling with his butterfly knife, looked at the group of scantily clad thugs in front of him and jokingly asked, "Fun, wanna play some more?"

The other party shook their heads in unison.

"Then why aren't you getting out of here?" Chen Huan threw the butterfly knife over, which landed right next to the shirtless gangster's feet, scaring him so much that he grabbed his pants and ran away.

"Chen Huan, you're really amazing. No wonder you were able to fight against the village chief and the others."

"From now on, we'll rely on you to support us in the village," Zhao Liping said, coming closer and praising her profusely.

Chen Huan replied nonchalantly, "Don't worry, no problem. Zhao Siming and his gang are nothing."

Li Chunlan frowned and scolded, "Don't be so arrogant. You don't really think that just because you got a little advantage over them yesterday, things will keep going smoothly?"

"Zhao Siming is the village chief. In our countryside, he's practically a local tyrant. Don't mess with him. The only way to live a good life is to avoid him, understand?"

"There were a few troublemakers in the village who went against him, and in the end, they all met a tragic end."
