Chapter 16
New Specializations, New Features
As she washed, Ellen's movements became slower and slower.
Her fingertips restlessly traced Ye Weian's firm chest muscles, feeling his powerful heartbeat, and even lingered for a few seconds longer as they brushed against those sensitive curves. She looked down at the faint outline beneath the water's surface, feeling her whole body go weak, a strange heat rising between her legs, and even her breathing becoming scorching.
Because they were so close, the heaving white flesh of Elaine's chest was almost touching Ye Weian's shoulder, and with her rapid breathing, it would occasionally brush against Ye Weian's warm skin.
"Young Master..." Eileen bit her lip, her eyes filled with tears, her voice carrying a hint of coquettishness and resentment that she would never dare to show in her usual self, "Young Master... you really... are different from before."
"Oh? What's different?" Ye Wei'an closed his eyes, leaned against the edge of the tub, and felt the relaxation brought by the hot water.
"It's just...it's just that I've grown up." Eileen's voice was even softer, almost buried in her chest. "Before...you were always shy and never allowed me to serve you like this during your bath...you always chased me away, let alone let me...like this."
Ye Wei'an closed his eyes, feeling the almost teasing pressure of the girl's fingertips, and understood.
The original owner was, after all, just a teenager, so it's normal for him to be a little awkward and shy.
But now, the body inhabited is that of a transmigrator with a mature soul.
Of course, in his previous life, this transmigrator had no experience of being bathed by beautiful girls.
But now that he's transmigrated to this feudal world, become a descendant of nobility, and a sorcerer lord, he naturally wants to corrupt himself thoroughly.
Thinking of this, he suddenly turned around, his deep, star-like eyes staring straight at Ellen.
Looking at the familiar yet unfamiliar handsome face in front of her, Ellen felt as if her heart was being squeezed by an invisible hand.
Recalling scenes from some silly dramas he had watched in his past life, Ye Wei'an reached out and gently pinched Ai Lian's delicate chin, his fingertips slowly caressing her lips, which had become moist with excitement.
"That was before," Ye Wei'an's voice was deep and magnetic. "Now that we're grown up, it's natural to play like adults. Don't you think so, Eileen?"
Such melodramatic actions and words would have been considered cheesy and vulgar in my past life.
But it had a devastating effect on the current Ellen.
The girl hesitated for only a moment before blushing and trembling as she untied her ribbon.
Ye Wei'an was dumbfounded, inwardly roaring – indeed, whether a sentence is greasy or not has nothing to do with the action itself, but depends entirely on who is speaking.
And now, I'm someone who can make a living by modeling.
Under his gaze, the thin fabric slid down the girl's smooth skin and piled up on the carpet.
The candlelight and the rising steam from the bucket cast a soft glow over her. Biting her lip, she shyly yet resolutely lifted her leg and stepped into the warm water, creating ripples as she sat down close to Ye Wei'an.
The space inside the barrel suddenly became crowded and even hotter.
Ye Wei'an reached out and embraced her soaked waist, feeling the softness and trembling in his arms. Ai Lian obediently snuggled closer, wrapping her arms around his neck, burying her burning cheeks in the crook of his neck, and whimpering like a small animal.
She was initially tense like a startled deer, but with patient guidance, she gradually relaxed.
"Lady Fire-Haired..." Ellen murmured.
However, just as his burning emotions were about to overwhelm his reason, Ye Wei'an stopped abruptly.
He buried his face deep in the crook of her neck, their foreheads touching, but did not go any further.
He could sense the girl's anticipation, as well as her initial nervousness.
It's not the right time yet, he thought.
Although this tacit consent constantly eroded his self-control, he was keenly aware that in this environment—in such a simple outdoor tent, on a night when he had just experienced a life-or-death struggle and his future was uncertain—all of this seemed too hasty.
He didn't want this precious moment to become a stressful outburst for the girl who relied on him so completely.
He took a deep breath, suppressing his surging desire, and instead placed kisses on her forehead and the corners of her eyes, his movements becoming gentle and full of tenderness.
The exploration didn't stop, but it changed direction, becoming more like an intimate comfort, until Ellen completely softened into a puddle of spring water, her eyes glazed over, only able to lean on him for breath.
Ye Wei'an also let out a long sigh of relief, feeling a deep sense of pleasure and relaxation, and his mental fatigue dissipated with the release he had just experienced.
Just then, a system notification appeared:
[Achievement Completed: First Contact]
[Gained Specialization: Charm Talent]
Immediately afterwards, a stream of information about this expertise flooded into my consciousness:
[Charm Talent]: You are adept at using gender charm to achieve your goals. When you exert influence on creatures of the opposite sex based on your charm attribute, you can achieve even greater results.
A subtle flow of knowledge and instinct followed, as if he was born with a better understanding of how to adjust the curve of a gaze and how to maximize the magnetism of his voice.
Ye Wei'an's heart skipped a beat. It seemed that in addition to the regular upgrades, this system had other enhancement methods similar to achievement rewards, but it was currently unclear what specific achievements were available or how to trigger them.
The water gradually cooled down.
He helped the limp and almost unsteady Ellen out of the bath. A simple magical spell created a warm breeze that quickly dried the water droplets from their bodies.
He was too lazy to dress the girl, so he simply grabbed a bath towel and wrapped it around her.
Eileen was so sleepy that her eyelids were drooping and her steps were unsteady. She even subconsciously wanted to turn around and tidy up the pile of toiletries and bath tub.
Ye Wei'an pressed down on her shoulder: "Go to sleep if you're tired. You can do these chores tomorrow."
He half-carried, half-lifted her to the cot.
The moment the girl sank into the soft mattress, all her strength was drained away. But before her consciousness faded into darkness, she still vaguely reached out and grabbed Ye Wei'an's clothes, refusing to let go.
Ye Wei'an did not leave, but instead hugged the half-elf girl.
Only when she was pulled into his arms did Ellen snuggle against him with a satisfied sigh, her breathing quickly becoming even and long.
Ye Wei'an himself felt a wave of weariness. He leaned against the headboard, a thought stirring in his mind that he should change into his pajamas—he didn't have the habit of sleeping naked.
The thought had barely formed when he suddenly felt a subtle change in his touch—the coolness of his skin in direct contact with the air vanished, replaced by the comfort of being enveloped in soft, dry fabric.
He looked down and saw that he was wearing the pajamas at some point.
"This is... automatic clothing change?" Ye Wei'an was slightly surprised, but then he understood.
The equipment in the game can indeed be changed with a click, and the same feature has now been implemented here.
This is much more convenient than frantically putting on and taking off formal attire and robes yourself. In an emergency, this feature might play an unexpected role.
As a spellcaster, the task of keeping watch at night naturally wouldn't fall to him, but Ye Wei'an still habitually glanced at the minimap.
The area around the camp was quiet, with only the occasional movement of green dots representing teammates—those were the Night Watchers patrolling, and a few harmless yellow dots occasionally flashing by in the distance.
No red dot, safe.
Only then did he truly relax.
Only now did Ye Wei'an finally have time to calm down and carefully examine the game system that had accompanied him through his transmigration.
Everything happened too fast and too fast today—time travel, battles, escape, interrogation, travel… He was practically being pushed around, only having time to use the system’s most basic functions.
Now that I finally have some free time, it's time to take a closer look.
The interface in his consciousness was almost identical to what he had initially seen; the character cards, spellbooks, and inventory slots were all quietly arranged, nothing special.
Just as he was about to log out, his gaze was suddenly drawn to a "+" symbol next to his profile picture.
When you first open the interface, this thing doesn't seem to be here.
He tried clicking, and a submenu appeared.
Instead of items or skills, it displayed a row of... miniature portraits?
What new feature is this?
