Shocking! A direct confrontation with an awakened-level ferocious beast!

"Ordinary Rank 8? Su Yuan's Beast Taming rank has actually reached Ordinary Rank 8? This... how is this possible!"

At Shi Qianying's exclamation, Li Ming, who was not far from them, naturally heard her exclamation as well.

With an incredulous look, Li Ming looked in Su Yuan's direction, and then followed the gazes of the others to find Xiao Xuan's figure on the battlefield.

Seemingly to prove that Shi Qianying's exclamation was fake, Li Ming's gaze remained fixed on Xiao Xuan after he spotted him.

Soon, Li Ming saw another powerful ape-like beast charging toward Xiao Xuan's location with overwhelming momentum.

"That's a fully grown nine-fingered war ape. Most of them are of excellent quality, at least six stars. Adult nine-fingered war apes are all awakened-level ferocious beasts."

"Su Yuan, even if your beast taming has truly reached the ordinary eighth rank, you will still be defeated by this adult nine-fingered battle ape!"

Upon discovering the ferocious beast charging towards Xiao Xuan, Li Ming, whose expression had been grim, immediately revealed a sinister smile.

Now he no longer needs to check whether Xiao Xuan has truly reached the ordinary eighth rank.

Whether Xiao Xuan was an ordinary eighth-rank beast or not was meaningless in front of that ferocious beast that had reached the awakening level.

Even his Lightning Tiger, with its exceptional seven-star quality, was no match for an adult Nine-Finger War Ape when he was at the ordinary eighth rank, let alone Su Yuan's Water Arrow Turtle.

"Su Yuan, that adult nine-fingered war ape is a second-tier awakened ferocious beast, far beyond what your tamed beast can handle. Quickly send your tamed beast back!"

At this moment, Tang Zihan also noticed the crisis Xiao Xuan was facing and said in a somewhat anxious tone.

Although Xiao Xuan's performance in killing the Candlefire Spider was outstanding, that attack even had the power of an awakened-level attack.

However, it is only comparable to the attack of a true awakened-level ferocious beast; there is still a certain gap between it and the attack of a real awakened-level ferocious beast.

Moreover, in Tang Zihan's perception, the nine-fingered battle ape that charged at Xiao Xuan was at the second level of awakening strength.

While Tang Zihan was advising Su Yuan, a crimson figure swiftly weaved through the horde of beasts ahead, rapidly approaching Xiao Xuan's direction.

"That's right, Su Yuan, quickly send your beasts back so the teachers can take their place."

Upon hearing Tang Zihan's voice, Shi Qianying's expression changed slightly, and she also spoke to Su Yuan.

"The Nine-Finger Battle Ape, an excellent six-star quality, has reached the second awakening stage. Its strength is perfect for testing Xiao Xuan's current combat power!"

However, despite their advice, Su Yuan did not allow Xiao Xuan to return.

Just as the nine-fingered battle ape charged towards Xiao Xuan, Su Yuan had already thoroughly understood the attributes of the nine-fingered battle ape.

Faced with the charging nine-fingered war ape, Su Yuan only gave Xiao Xuan one order: to fight with all his might.

"Huff!!"

Upon receiving Su Yuan's order, Xiao Xuan exhaled a thick cloud of white mist from his nose.

The surrounding water elements frantically converged towards it.

The next moment, a jet of water, even thicker than the one used to kill the Candlefire Spider, shot out and slammed into the chest of the Nine-Fingered War Ape in an instant.

Bang! ! !

A muffled sound rang out, and the Nine-Fingered War Ape's charging body suddenly stopped, and it couldn't help but take several steps back, its expression showing some pain.

Although the nine-fingered war ape attacked by the water column was not pierced through its body like the previous candle spider.

However, the force of the water jet also caused a gash in his chest, from which blood slowly flowed out along with the water.

"The Nine-Fingered War Ape is injured!"

"This, how is this possible!"

Watching Xiao Xuan defeat the Awakened Nine-Fingered Battle Ape with a single strike, even injuring it.

Li Ming's smile suddenly froze, his eyes widened, and he stared blankly at the scene that was completely unexpected, his body trembling uncontrollably.

Not only Li Ming, but also Shi Qianying and Tang Zihan, who were beside Su Yuan, had the same expression on their faces.

The worry that had been on Tang Zihan's beautiful face had vanished, replaced by surprise and delight.

"I didn't even use my full strength when facing that ordinary seventh-tier Candlefire Spider. Su Yuan's beast taming has truly given me a huge surprise!"

"Su Yuan's Water Blastoise clearly only possesses the aura of an ordinary eighth-tier warrior, yet it was able to repel a second-tier awakened Nine-Fingered Battle Ape with a single strike. This is simply unbelievable!"

"No, Su Yuan's beast can no longer be called Blastoise. Blastoise doesn't have such terrifying combat power, even the evolved form of Blastoise, Water King Turtle."

"Only a normal eighth-tier beast can unleash combat power capable of repelling a second-tier awakened nine-fingered battle ape at a normal eighth-tier level. Only a normal eighth-tier beast of perfect quality has such powerful combat power."

"Could it be that Su Yuan's tamed beast has evolved into a perfect-quality tsunami turtle?"

"That's not right. Su Yuan's beast looks too different from the Tsunami Turtle. It can't be the Tsunami Turtle."

"What secrets does Su Yuan hold?"

Tang Zihan was astonished to witness Xiao Xuan, a mere eighth-level cultivator, injure a nine-fingered battle ape at the second level of awakening with a single strike.

Surprised, she quickly recalled the incident where Su Yuan's soul crystal shattered during the beast taming talent test.

She had a vague feeling that Su Yuan's shattering of the soul crystal during the talent test might not have been accidental.

"roar--"

On the battlefield, the Nine-Fingered War Ape, which had been injured by Xiao Xuan's attack, recovered slightly and roared once again.

It clenched its fists, ignoring the wound on its chest, and pounded its chest with its fists, roaring to the sky.

His eyes quickly turned blood red, and his aura suddenly surged.

"This is the Nine-Fingered War Ape's berserk skill; it seems it's preparing to fight to the death."

Upon seeing this, Su Yuan immediately understood and a glint of light flashed in his eyes.

The Nine-Fingered War Ape's berserk skill can cause its strength to surge for a short period of time, but after the berserk state ends, it will fall into a period of weakness, and its strength will be reduced by half, or even its level will drop.

Without a doubt, this skill is meant to be used in desperate situations.

After unleashing the berserk skill, the Nine-Fingered War Ape now possessed the strength of the third awakened stage.

But Su Yuan still showed no intention of letting Xiao Xuan retreat.

Xiao Xuan just used the water gun skill.

There are even more powerful skills yet to be unleashed, showing no fear whatsoever of the berserk Nine-Fingered War Ape.

Moreover, attacking is not Xiao Xuan's forte; defense is!

Even with the Nine-Fingered War Ape's power surging in its berserk state, Xiao Xuan could withstand its attacks for a while without any problem.

Pfft!!!

Just as Su Yuan was preparing to let Xiao Xuan do something big, a crimson figure flashed past the Nine-Fingered Battle Ape like a ghost.

In the instant the crimson figure crossed paths with the nine-fingered war ape, a line of blood appeared below the ape's neck, and then its entire head fell off.

"The nine-fingered battle ape, comparable to a third-stage awakened being, was instantly killed without any resistance. The gap between the commander-level and awakened-level is too great!"

Seeing the nine-fingered war ape's corpse slowly fall, Su Yuan was surprised, his gaze narrowed slightly, and he turned to look at the red figure that continued to kill the other ferocious beasts.

The beast that just killed the berserk Nine-Fingered War Ape was Tang Zihan's beast, the Blazing Red Fox.

"Su Yuan, let your tamed beasts fight against ordinary-level ferocious beasts. Leave the ferocious beasts above ordinary level to the teachers."

At that moment, Tang Zihan's voice rang out beside Su Yuan.

Upon hearing this, Su Yuan nodded.

The previous test gave him a clear understanding of Xiao Xuan's combat strength, so there was no need for further testing.

In an instant, Su Yuan commanded Xiao Xuan to search for other ordinary-level ferocious beasts to fight.

He could see the specific attributes of all the ferocious beasts. With this ability, Xiao Xuan always faced ferocious beasts of the seventh rank or above.

This not only reduces the pressure on our side, but also allows us to obtain a considerable amount of beast cores while killing these ferocious beasts.
