Awakening to Tier 2, Ghostfire Serpent!

It was a small, dark snake coiled among countless vines on the cliff.

Its scales resembled fish scales, and its pair of cold, snake-like eyes were fixed on Su Yuan, flashing with chilling killing intent.

The small snake's color was similar to the roots of the surrounding vines, and with the vines and leaves covering it, it was impossible to notice unless you looked closely.

Su Yuan had not noticed the small snake before.

If the little snake hadn't attacked, Su Yuan wouldn't have been able to spot it so quickly.

……

"The Ghostfire Serpent of the Seven Stars of Excellence, this is troublesome."

Su Yuan looked at the attributes of the Netherfire Serpent and a solemn expression immediately appeared on his face.

With its exceptional seven-star rating and second-tier awakening level, this Ghostfire Serpent is undoubtedly a dominant force in the outer reaches of the Molten Mountain Range.

The quality of the Seven Stars of Excellence is not much weaker than that of the Nine Stars of Excellence in the Lesser Mystic Realm.

With its Gundam Awakening Stage 2 level, its combat power is even greater than Xiao Xuan's.

Such a ferocious beast could easily kill even a fifth-level awakened Candlefire Spider.

Even if Xiao Xuan and Xiao Yan went together, they would not be a match for such a powerful beast.

After assessing the difference in strength between his side and the Netherfire Serpent, Su Yuan no longer hesitated and immediately prepared to have Xiao Xuan and Xiao Yan retreat together.

Anyway, Xiao Xuan has already stepped into the Awakening level with one foot in it. After Xiao Xuan breaks through to the Awakening level, they can come back here to pick these three Sacred Fire Fruits.

There's no need to take the risk now.

The Sacred Fire Fruit will not be fully ripe for another three days. Su Yuan guessed that the Netherfire Serpent had been guarding the Sacred Fire Fruit for quite some time, and must also be waiting for the moment when the Sacred Fire Fruit ripened.

Su Yuan was confident that he could help Xiao Xuan break through to the Awakening level in three days.

At that time, with the first-stage awakening of Xiao Xuan, the attribute advantage, and the superior quality, it will be much easier to deal with the second-stage awakening of the Netherfire Serpent.

However, the Ghostfire Serpent missed its attack and realized that its disguise had been exposed.

Before Su Yuan could even give the order to retreat, the Netherfire Serpent launched an attack on Su Yuan and his group.

The Netherfire Serpent has been guarding this Sacred Fire Fruit for two months. It is about to ripen, and once it swallows these three Sacred Fire Fruits, its strength will greatly increase, and it may even be able to step into the extraordinary level.

The Netherfire Serpent is determined to obtain the three Sacred Flame Fruits!

Now that they've been discovered, the Netherfire Serpent will certainly not allow Su Yuan and his tamed beast to leave safely.

"hiss!!!"

With a hiss, the Ghostfire Serpent suddenly launched an attack.

A stream of dark blue flame shot out from its mouth, heading straight for Su Yuan on Xiao Xuan's back.

With its exceptional seven-star quality and awakened second-tier level, the power of the Ghostfire Serpent's attack is astonishing.

Feeling the scorching heat wave approaching, Su Yuan's expression changed slightly.

"The power of this dark blue flame should not be underestimated. If it were to hit me, I would probably be finished."

"Xiao Xuan!"

Sensing the power of the Netherfire Serpent's attack, Su Yuan didn't hesitate and immediately shouted.

Xiao Xuan reacted even faster than Su Yuan, responding as soon as the Netherfire Serpent launched its attack.

As the ghostly blue flames of the Ghostfire Serpent attacked, a equally fierce column of water suddenly erupted, rushing towards the ghostly blue flames.

Sizzle sizzle sizzle!!

When water and fire collided, the terrifyingly high temperature of the dark blue flames instantly evaporated a large amount of water vapor, and the surrounding area was instantly filled with white mist.

Although Xiao Xuan's current strength is not as good as that of the awakened second-stage Netherfire Serpent, he has the advantage of having opposing attributes.

Xiao Xuan's water gun attack successfully blocked the flames from the Netherfire Serpent.

"hiss!!!"

With its attack blocked, the Ghostfire Serpent's eyes turned cold, and it emitted a series of extremely threatening hisses, immediately realizing that it was in a difficult situation.

The recent clash had given the Netherfire Serpent some insight into Xiao Xuan.

After learning about Xiao Xuan's background, a hint of seriousness appeared in the Youhuo Snake's cold eyes.

Xiao Xuan's water-based attacks completely countered its fire-based attacks.

Even though the Netherfire Serpent could sense that Xiao Xuan was only at the peak of the Ordinary level and had not yet reached the Awakening level, it still dared not let its guard down.

hum! ! !

Realizing that its fire-type attacks would be countered by Xiao Xuan, the Ghostfire Serpent did not hesitate and disappeared from the cliff face in a flash.

A subtle energy fluctuation emerged, enveloping its body. In an instant, the Netherfire Serpent that shot towards Su Yuan from the cliff suddenly split in two.

Using the mist to obscure their vision, they attacked Su Yuan from the left and right.

"Chirp chirp!!!"

As the Ghostfire Serpent disappeared above the cliff face and launched an attack on Su Yuan, Little Flame, which was hovering in the sky above, immediately issued a warning.

Below, both Xiao Xuan and Su Yuan wore solemn expressions.

Even though they couldn't see the Ghostfire Serpent perfectly concealed by the water mist, Su Yuan and Xiao Xuan could still feel an immense sense of danger approaching.

Crash!!

Without any hesitation, a large amount of water element suddenly gathered around Xiao Xuan, and the next moment, the scene of his battle with the Gale Shadow Cat cub in the Misty Forest was replayed.

Countless waves surged and churned, surrounding Xiao Xuan and Su Yuan, completely covering the surrounding space.

With two loud "thumps," the figure of the Netherfire Serpent appeared, and the two serpent bodies that were rapidly shooting towards Su Yuan were temporarily slowed down by the waves.

One of the ghostly fire serpents disintegrated after being hit by several waves.

Only the Ghostfire Serpent's true form continued to charge towards Su Yuan, enduring Xiao Xuan's skill attacks.

The Ghostfire Serpent had already developed considerable intelligence, and it understood that Su Yuan, the Beast Tamer, was the backbone of the team.

Once Su Yuan, the beast tamer, is killed, the remaining two beasts are no threat at all.

Although Xiao Xuan's skill, Tide Strike, is incredibly powerful and can destroy the Shadow Serpent's clones, it cannot cause much damage to the Serpent's main body.

Although the Ghostfire Serpent's movement was hindered, it continued to rapidly approach Su Yuan.

"This guy is really strong!"

"Damn it, do they really think I'm a pushover?"

"I'll fight you to the death!"

"Soul Arrow!"

Seeing that Xiao Xuan was powerless to stop the Netherfire Serpent from attacking him, Su Yuan roared inwardly, a cold glint flashing in his eyes.

With his eyes fixed on the ghostly fire serpent that was about to bite him, Su Yuan's spiritual power surged forth from his sea of consciousness.

An invisible arrow of spiritual energy formed in an instant and shot towards the ghostly fire serpent.

Xiao Xuan's strength has reached the peak of the ordinary ninth rank, and he is only one step away from entering the awakening level.

As a result, Su Yuan's strength also reached the level of a half-step awakened beast tamer.

In addition, Su Yuan possesses three exceptionally high-quality tamed beasts and a mythical-level tamed beast talent that surpasses everyone else.

Su Yuan's mental strength is extremely powerful.

Now, facing a life-or-death crisis, he unleashed his Soul Arrow attack with all his might, and the power of the Soul Arrow far exceeded Su Yuan's expectations.

Under the attack of the Soul Arrow, the rapidly charging Ghostfire Serpent's pupils instantly dilated, and before it could even let out a scream, its soul was obliterated by Su Yuan's Soul Arrow, turning it into a plant serpent.

Although the Ghostfire Serpent's body still rushed towards Su Yuan's side due to inertia, Su Yuan easily blocked it, and its corpse fell onto Xiao Xuan's back.
