, First Natal Beast

After going through a series of procedures, Su Yuan entered the Beast Taming and Breeding Hall on the third floor alone.

After arriving at the nearest stone pillar, Su Yuan looked at the beast-taming egg shrouded in a transparent crystal box. Suddenly, a message appeared above the beast-taming egg.

"The Divine Eye of Apocalypse truly lived up to its promise; I was indeed able to see the information about these beast eggs, as well as their various evolutionary paths!"

"They can even understand all the materials and processes required for the evolution of these beasts!"

The information that suddenly appeared on the beast-taming egg immediately made Su Yuan's body tremble with joy.

Being able to see the information on these beast eggs means that Su Yuan can easily select the best beast in the third-floor hall.

Although he was pleasantly surprised, Su Yuan kept a straight face and silently shifted his gaze away from the beast-taming egg.

They began to look one by one at the other beast eggs in the third-floor hall.

……

Su Yuan spent more than ten minutes looking at all the beast eggs in the hall on the third floor of the breeding center.

"The beast eggs that the breeding center protects like this are indeed extraordinary; all the beast eggs here are of rare quality!"

"The best beast-taming egg has reached the rare nine-star level, which is very close to the excellent quality."

After walking around for a while, Su Yuan couldn't help but sigh softly.

The quality of tamed beasts ranges from low to high as follows: Common, Excellent, Rare, Superior, Perfect, Epic, Legendary, and Mythical, totaling eight levels.

Each level is further divided into one to nine stars, with one star being the lowest and nine stars being the highest.

On the market, a high-quality tamed beast cub or tamed beast egg can fetch a price of over 100,000.

As for rare-quality beasts, the minimum price is at least one million Federal Credits.

Some rare nine-star beast eggs and beast cubs can sell for tens of millions of federal coins.

Su Yuan estimated that the total value of the more than one hundred beast eggs on the third floor of the Beast Taming Center in Tianyang City was probably close to one billion Federal Credits.

"Among the more than one hundred beast eggs here, the best one has reached the rare nine-star mutated water bream turtle."

After a moment's thought, Su Yuan decided to make the Blastoise his first natal beast.

Aside from the fact that this Blastoise is the highest quality beast in the entire hall, the most important thing is that Su Yuan knows the final evolution form of this mutated Blastoise through the Heavenly Eye!

The quality of Blastoise's final evolved form also surpasses that of all the other Beastmasters in the hall!

Su Yuan arrived at the stone pillar where the Water Arrow Turtle's beast eggs were stored, looking at the pale blue beast eggs shrouded in a transparent crystal box.

"Blastoise, I choose you!"

After saying that, he submitted an application to the staff at the nearby breeding center, registered, and then received the Blastoise Egg.

Then, led by the staff, they arrived in front of a middle-aged beast tamer, who assisted in completing the beast taming contract and conducting the first master recognition ceremony.

The process of recognizing a master is very simple. With the assistance of the beast tamers at the breeding center, the beast contract appears above the beast egg.

Su Yuan only needed to drip a drop of blood onto the beast contract above the beast egg to complete the beast's recognition of its master.

After Su Yuan dripped his blood, the Beast Taming Contract merged into the Beast Taming Egg in front of him.

In that instant, Su Yuan suddenly felt a faint spiritual force rushing towards him, which he easily neutralized.

At the same time, Su Yuan felt a powerful energy surge into his body, making him feel refreshed.

Not only that, the beast-taming egg in front of them also quickly cracked open.

A blue Blastoise, about the size of a soccer ball and covered in a hard shell, hatched and appeared in front of Su Yuan.

When Blastoise saw Su Yuan, a hint of joy flashed in its black gem-like eyes.

It quickly climbed to Su Yuan's side and then affectionately rubbed its head against Su Yuan's arm.

At this moment, the middle-aged beast tamer who assisted Su Yuan in completing the first beast taming contract also activated the testing equipment next to him and began scanning the water burr turtle.

"A rare nine-star Blastoise!"

Upon seeing the scan results, the beast tamer immediately exclaimed in surprise.

His voice also drew the attention of those around him, and everyone who looked in this direction showed a look of shock.

"Aren't Blastoises usually only around five-star rare quality? This Blastoise is actually nine-star rare! How is that possible?"

"Judging from its appearance, this Blastoise is an exceptionally outstanding member of the Blastoise family, and may even be a mutated Blastoise!"

"A mutated Blastoise! This kid's luck is fucking amazing; his first tamed beast is a rare nine-star mutated one!"

"I'm so envious, that kid got a really good deal."

"Don't be too envious yet. Having a mutated Blastoise like this in a contract might be a good thing or a bad thing."

"That's right. After all, most mutated beasts that want to evolve will likely not be able to do so using the original evolutionary routes, and will need to have new evolutionary routes researched."

……

Amidst the hushed whispers of those around him, the middle-aged beast tamer who had assisted Su Yuan in contracting and controlling the beast also came to his senses, and said to Su Yuan with a smile:

"The young man is lucky!"

"A rare nine-star quality, it's considered the best quality beast egg among all the beast eggs on the third floor of the breeding center."

"Yes, thank you, senior!"

Upon hearing this, Su Yuan immediately displayed an expression of surprise and astonishment.

After thanking the middle-aged beastmaster, he left with Blastoise.

"Teacher Tang!"

As soon as Su Yuan stepped out of the third-floor lobby, he saw Tang Zihan and immediately greeted her.

Tang Zihan also spotted Su Yuan as soon as he came out.

Upon seeing the Blastoise in Su Yuan's arms, Tang Zihan's beautiful eyes lit up, and she quickly stepped forward.

After a few quick glances, Tang Zihan determined what kind of beast Su Yuan was holding, and then smiled:

"Su Yuan, if the teacher isn't mistaken, this should be Blastoise, right?"

Upon hearing this, Su Yuan nodded.

Seeing that her guess was correct, Tang Zihan's smile became even more captivating.

"Blastoises are all rare-quality Beasts, generally reaching rarity level five or higher."

"Furthermore, among the currently known evolutionary paths, Blastoise can evolve into a perfect-quality Tsunami Turtle, making it a very good summon!"

"Your very first natal beast is of perfect quality, and with your A-grade beast-taming talent, your future is limitless!"

With the Beast Taming talent, if Blastoise is added, it can evolve into a perfect quality Tsunami Turtle.

Compared to the vast majority of people, Su Yuan has already won at the starting line.

Even compared to the genius disciples of those great families, they are not much worse.

The strength of the first natal beast has a crucial impact on the beast tamer's subsequent growth.

The strength of a beast can provide feedback to the beast tamer; the stronger the beast, the stronger the power reflected back to the beast tamer.

Once a Beast Tamer becomes powerful, they can contract more beasts and further enhance their strength.

When Su Yuan contracted Blastoise with the help of the middle-aged beast tamer at the breeding center, the energy that suddenly surged into Su Yuan's body was the energy feedback from Blastoise.

This is because Blastoise has not yet grown up and is still relatively weak, and its energy feedback to Su Yuan is also relatively weak.

Otherwise, the energy feedback from an adult Blastoise would be enough to instantly increase Su Yuan's strength by dozens or even hundreds of times.

Of course, the most crucial factor in contracting a powerful beast is the strength of the beast tamer himself.

Otherwise, even with the assistance of a powerful expert, it would be impossible to help a beast tamer of insufficient strength complete the contract.

Forcibly contracting beasts beyond one's capacity to handle them will only bring backlash.
