, Beast Taming #4: Strength Surges!

Whoosh! ! !

As soon as Su Yuan finished speaking, he was met with a thick tree root that burst forth from the ground and pierced towards him and Xiao Yan.

However, having suffered Xiao Yan's frenzied attacks, the Poison Thorn Tree Demon, already severely injured, was now much less powerful than before.

Xiao Yan easily dodged it.

The mutated treant then used its root spikes several more times, but to no avail.

"Hmph, they won't shed a tear until they see the coffin!"

"Little Flame!"

Seeing that the mutated poisonous tree demon was uncompromising, Su Yuan gradually lost patience.

Little Flame understood immediately. This time, it gathered all its fire-attribute energy, and a crimson fireball suddenly appeared above it.

The fireball grew larger and larger, standing tall in mid-air like the sun.

"Hey!!!"

Finally, with a sharp whistle from Xiao Yan, the enormous fireball, over ten meters in diameter, hurtled towards the Poison Thorn Tree Demon below, accompanied by a violent heatwave.

boom!!!

The fireball struck the mutated thorn tree demon and exploded instantly, sending a powerful shockwave sweeping away all the remaining branches and leaves.

The bare trunk of the mutated treant was also completely engulfed in the sea of fire after the fireball exploded.

Xiao Yan's attack was more powerful than Li Mu's self-destruction of the seventh-tier Fire Crow.

This is Xiao Yan's strongest skill, Blazing Sun Burning the Sky.

Of course, using such a powerful skill also greatly depletes Xiao Yan's energy.

The remaining energy in his body was completely consumed in this attack.

At this moment, Su Yuan promptly took out several awakened-level fire-attribute beast cores and fed them to Xiao Yan to help him recover from his losses.

sizzle-

Below, under the attack of Xiao Yan's Blazing Sun skill, even the mutated Poisonous Thorn Tree Demon, which used the extremely defensive Old Bark skill, was unable to withstand the high temperature of the fireball explosion.

The old bark on the outside of the tree trunk, which was condensed with wood-based energy, turned into ashes and dissipated after a brief stalemate.

Without the protection of the old bark, the scorching flames burned the mutated thorn tree demon, producing crackling sounds like firewood exploding in a fire.

hum! ! !

The flames did not burn for long.

With the Treant's best efforts, the remaining flames were extinguished by it using a large amount of energy.

However, at this moment, the thorny tree spirit was also seriously injured by Xiao Yan's attack and could no longer launch any counterattack.

……

"This guy is already seriously injured; it's the perfect opportunity to sign a contract!"

Su Yuan observed the state of the mutated poisonous tree demon through the Heavenly Eye of Revelation, and a glint of light flashed in his eyes.

A powerful spiritual force swiftly condensed into a beast-taming contract mark, which rushed towards the core of the heavily injured thorn tree demon.

"roar--"

The moment the Beast Taming Contract entered the core of the mutated Poisonous Thorn Tree Demon, Su Yuan immediately encountered a strong resistance.

An angry roar exploded in his head at the same time, shaking his consciousness.

"Just as I predicted, although I'm only at the fifth level of awakening, my mental strength completely surpasses that of this heavily injured ninth-level awakened mutated poisonous tree demon!"

"This mutated thorn tree spirit is quite fierce; even at this point, it still tries to struggle and resist signing the contract."

"Unfortunately, the opponent's mental strength is now far weaker than mine!"

Sensing the Poison Thorn Tree Demon's fierce struggle and resistance, Su Yuan's expression turned cold, and another powerful surge of spiritual energy erupted, rushing into the core of the mutated Poison Thorn Tree Demon.

As this spiritual force penetrated, the Poison Thorn Tree Spirit's mental resistance began to crumble rapidly.

Even so, the thorny tree spirit's mental strength was only struggling desperately, displaying a fearless and reckless attitude.

"Poison Thorn Tree Spirit, you are powerful, having already reached the ninth level of awakening."

"But in this Voodoo Jungle Secret Realm, you will never be able to break through to a realm beyond Awakening."

"Follow me, I will take you out of the secret realm. Without the restrictions of the secret realm's rules, you can reach a higher realm."

"And I assure you, becoming my tamed beast will lead to unexpected evolution in the future!"

Sensing the resistance of the Poison Thorn Tree Demon, Su Yuan frowned slightly and immediately used his mental power to transmit his thoughts to the core consciousness of the Poison Thorn Tree Demon.

Although he was fully capable of destroying all the resistance of the Poison Thorn Tree Spirit and forcibly contracting this awakened ninth-tier beast.

However, doing so would be like making a contract with Xiao You, severely damaging the spirit of the Poison Thorn Tree Spirit and causing it to fall into a deep sleep, making it unable to become his combat force for a short period of time.

To avoid this situation, Su Yuan kindly tried to persuade the Poisonous Thorn Tree Demon to give up its resistance.

hum-

Just after Su Yuan finished conveying these thoughts to the Poisonous Thorn Tree Demon, the Poisonous Thorn Tree Demon's mental resistance paused.

Seeing this, Su Yuan's mental offensive temporarily ceased.

"it works!"

Su Yuan paused upon sensing the Poison Thorn Tree Demon's resistance, and a hint of joy appeared in his eyes.

He then pressed his advantage by conveying to the Poison Thorn Tree Spirit a series of benefits of becoming his tamer.

"Captain, the Tree King isn't dead yet! Let's help kill it!"

Near the mutated Poisonous Thorn Tree Demon, Situ Lan looked at the Poisonous Thorn Tree Demon, which had been charred by Xiao Yan, and sensed the fluctuations of its life force. She then came to Zi Yun's side and said.

She was about to call upon her tamed beast to attack when Zi Yun stopped her.

"Little Blue, don't cause trouble. This Tree King is the beast that our savior wants to contract with."

Zi Yun reached out and took Situ Lan's hand, whispering to her.

She had already put on another set of clothes, and her beautiful eyes were fixed intently on Su Yuan, who was locked in a stalemate with the Poisonous Thorn Tree Demon.

Although Su Yuan released his spiritual power to condense the Beast Taming Contract and inject it into the Poison Thorn Tree Demon's body quickly, she still noticed it.

That's why she was able to stop Situ Lan's actions in time.

At the same time, he also told the other team members not to make any rash moves so as not to disturb Su Yuan.

"Ah, he can actually contract beasts? Does that mean he hasn't contracted a second beast yet?"

Upon hearing Zi Yun's words, Situ adjusted his glasses, stared wide-eyed at Su Yuan standing on Xiao Yan's back in the air, and exclaimed in shock.

The other three members of the Bauhinia Adventurer Team stared at Su Yuan in disbelief upon hearing this.

They had all witnessed Su Yuan's strength. He not only single-handedly dealt with more than a dozen tree demons at the fifth level of awakening, but he even defeated the Tree King at the peak of awakening.

Under normal circumstances, an awakened-level beast tamer with such strength would have already acquired a second beast.

"Perhaps, he wasn't actually making a contract with his second tamed beast..."

Situ Lan and the others were shocked that Su Yuan had only contracted his second beast, but Zi Yun, the team leader, did not think so.

Her beautiful eyes, fixed on Su Yuan, shone with a strange light.

Under the watchful eyes of the women, Su Yuan and the Poisonous Thorn Tree Demon remained locked in a stalemate for more than a dozen breaths.

Finally, the Treant gave up all resistance.

"Contract! Agreed!"

Seeing the Poison Thorn Tree Demon compromise, Su Yuan immediately activated the Beast Taming Contract he had condensed and successfully contracted the mutated Poison Thorn Tree Demon.

boom!!!

With the completion of the contract, Su Yuan also received a tremendous surge of power.

A powerful energy suddenly surged from his body.

The cells in his body were frantically absorbing this enormous energy, constantly strengthening themselves.

At the same time, Su Yuan's mental strength also surged.

In the blink of an eye, Su Yuan advanced from the fifth level of awakening to the ninth level of awakening, becoming a peak awakening beast tamer.
