Chapter 38

Juvask Wild Boar

Sejuani faintly heard what sounded like footsteps coming from the deck, a dense, familiar sound.

She was shocked and immediately realized that she had probably been exposed.

With nowhere to hide inside the warehouse, Sejuani, in a moment of quick thinking, used Thirst of Blood to smash the lock. Without thinking twice, she crawled behind the iron door to hide first and then think of a plan.

Almost the instant she hid, the warehouse door was kicked open.

Immediately afterwards, a group of Noxian soldiers rushed in, carrying spears.

Sejuani couldn't see what was happening outside, but she could hear increasingly frequent footsteps. Clearly, this wasn't a routine patrol, and she had truly been exposed... although Sejuani didn't know exactly where she had slipped up.

call……

At that moment, Sejuani, who was leaning against the iron gate, suddenly felt a warm breath on her face.

The small house was pitch black. Sejuani's eyes hadn't fully adjusted when she suddenly entered. Once she could see things a little better, she realized that a huge creature was standing right in front of her, its scarlet eyes staring intently at her.

Sejuani was startled, her back pressed tightly against the door, her hand gripping the Bloodthirsty Flail.

This is truly a situation where wolves are in front and tigers are behind...

However, the "monster" did not attack Sejuani; it merely moved its giant face closer, seemingly sniffing Sejuani's scent.

Sejuani then realized that what was approaching was a wild boar nudging her... It was Juvask?!

How can it be so huge?

Sejuani's eyes then adjusted to the darkness, and she finally saw the entirety of the enormous creature.

Judging from its appearance, it is indeed a Juvask, but it is quite different from a regular Juvask... Not only is it much larger, but its mane is not the usual brown color, but silver-gray, like needles, with a metallic sheen.

At this moment, the wild boar was tightly chained from head to toe, unable to move... Despite its ferocious appearance, Sejuani inexplicably felt a sense of familiarity.

She reached out her hand almost unconsciously, but to her surprise, the wild boar not only didn't resist, but instead extended its soft snout and gently nudged Sejuani's palm...

……

……

"There's no one here."

"Not here either."

"Nothing is missing...could it be a rat?"

"Impossible, rats cannot trigger the restriction."

After searching the warehouse for a while, the Noxian guards found no trace of the intruder.

Finally, they focused their attention on the iron gate at the end of the warehouse, where there were obvious signs of forced entry.

It seems the intruders are hiding here...

Without exchanging words, they tacitly raised their spears, formed a battle formation, and advanced towards the iron gate, ready to break down the door once they were ready.

However, before they could prepare, they heard a series of loud, crisp sounds coming from behind the iron gate, followed by the sound of chains hitting the ground.

After a brief silence, the iron gate was suddenly smashed open, and the heavy bolt flew out, instantly knocking down several guards and disrupting their formation.

Immediately afterwards, a ferocious beast charged out, rampaging wildly. The Noxian soldiers' spears struck its body, but only left bloody marks, unable to pierce its steel-hard mane and thick skin.

Sejuani, on the other hand, rode on the back of the boar, holding its mane tightly with one hand to maintain her balance, while raising her Bloodthirsty Flail with the other and waving it wildly.

In the cramped warehouse space, the Noxians could not wield their spears freely, and with such a large wild boar charging around, they were temporarily unable to deal with it.

In addition, Sejuani was indeed brave, and she easily caused a ruckus in the warehouse before crashing through the wooden door and onto the deck.

On the deck, the remaining Noxian guards were already on high alert.

Seeing this, Sejuani was not afraid at all; on the contrary, she became even more excited.

She twirled the flail in her hand and roared loudly.

"Come forth, Noxians! I am Sejuani, the Winter's Wrath!"

Meanwhile, Helen and his group, who had finally seen the commotion on the giant ship, breathed a sigh of relief.

At least Sejuani was spotted, and she looked lively and energetic.

"It's about time... Let's go after them!"

Udir suddenly opened his eyes and called out to everyone.

Although Sejuani claims she'll handle things on her own, she still needs to provide necessary support.

Even if they don't offer assistance, showing the Noxians that another group of Freljords is approaching the ship will draw some of their attention.

Sejuani, meanwhile, was in a killing frenzy.

Perhaps it was because she had been suppressing her feelings for too long, but the thrill of facing a large group of enemies alone made her somewhat intoxicated.

Moreover, she discovered that the so-called powerful Noxians were actually nothing special... Each one was skilled and a powerful warrior, but none of them were as strong as Sejuani, who had the blood of ice.

With the aid of her excellent mount, Sejuani moved with impunity. Even the well-trained Noxian soldiers could not withstand the rampage of this human and boar working together.

However, just as Sejuani was getting into the swing of things, a sudden feeling of panic washed over her.

Before she could think any further, a bolt of lightning appeared out of nowhere and struck her directly in the chest.

"Ugh..."

Sejuani groaned, her limbs going limp from the electric shock, and her grip on the boar's bristles loosened, causing her to fall off its back.

Even the Juvask wild boar was shocked by the electric current, cried out in pain, and collapsed onto the deck with its four hooves giving way.

Sejuani was the same; her body slammed heavily onto the solid deck... The impact wasn't enough to injure her, but the electric shock left her feeling weak in the limbs.

Fortunately, thanks to the protection of Winter's Arrival, Sejuani was not seriously injured.

Only then did she notice that on the second deck of the giant ship, there were several people who looked like priests, and there were still residual electric currents surging on the staffs in their hands.

The chain lightning just now was unleashed by them... Noxian war mages.

At this moment, the mages' staffs surged with fiery magical energy once again, clearly gathering strength for their next attack.

"not good!"

Although Sejuani was still somewhat weak in her limbs, she struggled to get up and pick up the Bloodthirsty Flail that had fallen to the ground.

However, the flail, forged entirely of cold iron, still retained the electric current left by the lightning chain. As soon as she touched it, Sejuani felt her arm go numb and a faint stinging pain, causing her to involuntarily pull her hand back.

"Damn it!"

Herren also noticed the critical scene. Without thinking, he immediately untied the Entropy Power from his back, swung it around behind him, and threw it with all his might towards the deck.

The warhammer spun, arcing through the air before crashing heavily onto the second deck. The annihilating destructive power inherent in the entropy instantly and easily shattered the ship's structure. The mages who were about to launch their attack lost their footing and plummeted to the ground like dumplings being dropped into a pot.
