Chapter 19

: Malice, Dark Battle!

The hyperdimensional world is never a gentle world. There are no laws or contracts for fair competition. Everything follows the will of others. Whether it is fair or pure depends on a single thought.

The rare phenomenon of a large number of innocent trainers being matched into the same pool only occurs during graduation season, and even then, quite a few villainous characters with ulterior motives can still sneak in.

Dotomi had already directly felt the malice here.

He was a recent graduate. When he first entered the Hyperdimension with Bulbasaur, everything was wonderful. The trainers he encountered all followed the fair one-on-one battle system, and even if he lost, he only needed to pay a certain price.

He was also fortunate enough to enter a superdimensional world with a perfect ecosystem that was extremely friendly to new trainers.

His first transdimensional mission was a success, which gave him the confidence to enter again today, using the creation crystal that his parents gave him as a graduation gift.

However, lacking a vast amount of knowledge, he felt completely lost for the first time. He couldn't distinguish between ordinary rocks and pebbles and sleeping rock Pokémon.

And so, he and Bulbasaur were chased by Rumble, whose level was over twenty, more than once.

Fortunately, he was lucky. He stumbled along the way, collecting and battling with Bulbasaur, and finally succeeded in evolving it into Ivysaur.

But he soon realized something was wrong. He seemed to encounter no other Pokémon trainers at all. It was as if all the trainers were consciously disguising themselves, and he couldn't even hear a single loud command.

He had seen places where battles had taken place, but he couldn't find any trainers there.

Fearing the unknown and becoming timid, he took Bulbasaur and headed towards the regular evacuation point on the second day.

He had already collected quite a few things, enough for him to buy two Genesis Crystals.

But in his attempt to escape, he was caught by a seasoned trainer who was lurking near the usual evacuation point!

The combined attack of three Pokémon was too much for him to handle. If he hadn't been lucky enough to run into Graveler, who was woken up and in a bad mood, he and Bulbasaur might have faced their first "near death"!

He felt a surge of relief, a mixture of fear and lingering dread, along with the joy of his impending escape. He ran crying toward the wooden bridge leading to the White Cave.

but……

"You look disheveled, but if you want to leave, leave your backpack behind."

A boy his age suddenly appeared out of nowhere, while several falling rocks blocked his escape route, and a baby Gilas, which was at least 1.2 meters tall, also emerged from his side.

Bad news: There are still people blocking the evacuation point!

Xia Ming looked at the disheveled Dotomi with a smile on his face. After noticing the heavily injured Bulbasaur in his arms, he had a guess in his mind.

There was quite a commotion coming from afar. It seems we've encountered quite a few old-timers in this transdimensional operation, and some of them share the same thoughts as me.

Hopefully that guy will come over soon and give me a treat.

"you……"

Dotomi looked at Xia Ming's youthful appearance and wanted to say something, but before he could speak, Xia Ming interrupted him.

Xia Ming's smiling face instantly turned fierce:

"What do you mean, 'what do you mean, 'what do you mean'? Hurry up, leave your things and get out of here, don't delay me from dealing with your old bastard too."

"Young Yoshi!"

Young Gilas urged the ungrateful trainer to put down his loot and take Bulbasaur out for treatment.

As for beating them to the point of near death and forcing them to retreat? Neither Xia Ming nor Young Gilas had considered that. They were just blocking the bridge, how could they go so far?

"cut……"

Dotomi was somewhat dissatisfied, but looking at the Bulbasaur in his arms, which was severely injured and in great pain while protecting him, he ultimately didn't argue. He simply left his backpack and a sentence:

"The trainer behind me was held back by a Graveler. Thanks for avenging Bulbasaur..."

Consider this backpack of supplies as payment for my services; thinking about it that way, dragging around more rice doesn't feel so bad anymore.

He left behind all the supplies and his spatial backpack that he had scavenged for half a day, and then ran across the bridge with Bulbasaur without looking back.

"Houndoom, aim at the bridge and use Burn! Nidorino, use Leer to stop that Larvitar!"

"Hey~ Hoo!"

Suddenly, scorching flames swept in, and the middle-aged man, looking somewhat disheveled, chased after them with his Pokémon.

However, he only had the injured Houndoom and Nidorino by his side, while York Jr. was sent to lure Graveler away.

He wasn't about to let such a fat sheep that was already in his grasp go to waste!

"Use Rock Slide to seal the flames, then aim a Stomp at the front to unleash a shockwave in a fan shape!"

Xia Ming reacted quickly. He didn't dwell on why this guy was chasing him so fast, but instead immediately issued the correct instructions.

Young Gilas, having received the instruction, also trusted Xia Ming's judgment completely. The two, who were of one mind, almost simultaneously gave the same instructions and took the same actions.

"Young Yoshi!"

Huge stones spread out in front, forming a stone wall to block the flames, and thick ground-attribute energy gathered at Younggiras's feet.

Lift it up, then stomp on it!

Rumble~

The massive shockwave overturned Nidorino, who was not far away, rendering him unable to use any skills. At only level 17, he was no match for Largilla!

Name: Eurythras

Level: 6 (26)

He couldn't catch that kick, which had a difference of nearly ten levels in numerical value!

"Hey, sir, if you know what's good for you, leave your backpack behind and get out of here, or I won't mind giving you a ride."

The situation reversed in an instant. Xia Ming looked at the middle-aged man with a serious expression, who was extremely arrogant.

Unlike his approach to Dotomi, he was genuinely going to beat this middle-aged man to the point of near death! After all, he could tell that this guy was clearly aiming for a near-death Dotomi.

"Young Yoshi!"

Larvitar could also sense the malice of this middle-aged trainer; Pokémon's perception of others' emotions far surpasses that of humans.

This guy isn't a nice person, so he doesn't need to have any other emotions; he just needs to obey the trainer's commands.

"Damn it, this power level is at least 25... Do Pokémon Academy teachers these days really teach students such dark methods?"

The middle-aged man was a little annoyed. He never expected that a student who should have no experience at all would make the same choice as them, the veterans, and rapidly increase his temporary level at the beginning of the superdimensional operation.

What no one expected was that Xia Ming would deliberately wait for his prey at the evacuation point. Wasn't he afraid of encountering a trainer with a type advantage and causing a complete reversal?

"Young man, how about we make a deal?"

"No discussion. Either leave your things here, or I'll kick you out!"

Xia Ming's attitude was firm, and he kept counting down the days verbally:

"Three...two...one! Larvitar, use Shot Down on the Trainer!"

Dark and brutal battle, a magnificent reversal!
