Chapter 21

: Future Planning, Team 1 and Team 2's Ambition

Operation Hyperdimensional has concluded; results are being verified.

Rare: Several Evolution Stone Fragments, 2 Defense Enhancers, 2 Gold Beads, 1 Large Gold Bead, 1 Mysterious Fossil

Standard: Two 2-cubic-meter backpacks, a quantity of tree fruits, cones, exotic rocks, and ores.

"Hyperdimensional Operation? We might as well rename it the Unrestricted Wilderness Battle Royale Tournament."

Xia Ming was speechless. The first Super Dimension Operation was a pure Pokémon search, attack, retreat, and battle, so how did the second one suddenly become an unrestricted wild battle?

He had just seen another group of trainers start a wild battle in front of the White Hole, and if he hadn't run fast, he might have been the one to get the prize.

And that guy was really tough. He had a broken leg, a folded hand, and probably damaged internal organs, but he was still able to give commands to his Pokémon while fully conscious.

It should be noted that after being burned, he was almost unable to think calmly, and his speed and judgment in giving instructions were almost completely cut in half.

This guy must have gotten injured a lot in outdoor fights, so he's developed a lot of resilience.

"Yukichi Yukichi~"

Upon returning to the real world, Young Gilas immediately went to Xia Ming's side to check on him, looking him over from left to right, but soon his face was full of doubt.

Why have the burns on the trainer's body disappeared?

"Thanks for your concern, Larvitar, but I'm fine now. I'm just hungry, want to grab a midnight snack together?"

Xia Ming felt utterly exhausted and hungry. The injuries he had sustained during the transdimensional operation had all turned into energy depletion and fatigue upon returning to reality. However, a ray of sunlight quickly brought him back to his senses:

"Is it already morning? Looks like we can't have a midnight snack, we'll have to eat breakfast instead."

"Young Yoshi!"

Young Gilas was happy to see his trainer still alive and kicking, but he also felt a little hungry and needed to replenish his nutrition.

I'd also like another serving of the rock-crush dessert from last night.

"You can't eat too much of that stuff, or you'll get indigestion. From now on, you can only eat it once every three days."

Xia Ming shook his head and refused Larvitar's request. Even if the hard stone was broken and lost some of its elemental energy, it still couldn't be eaten in large quantities, especially by a young Pokémon. Of course, he didn't discourage Larvitar's enthusiasm:

"Once you evolve into Shakiras, you can eat it every day. Even if you don't want to, I'll force it on you!"

The energy accumulated during the Shakiras stage is crucial for evolving into Tyranitar! That's when it's most expensive.

"Yukichi Yukichi~"

Alright then~ Young Gilas is a little disappointed, but his trainer won't hurt him.

………………

Despite staying up all night, Xia Ming was in relatively good spirits, having rested quite a bit in the superdimensional world.

After having breakfast with Young Gilas, Xia Ming first prepared breakfast for the still-sleeping Sandslash King, and then busied himself in his room.

Through this Hyperdimensional Operation, he deeply realized the importance of Pokémon team composition, especially in the wild battle environment where trainers can attack at any time.

Sometimes defense is even more important than offense!

It's important to know that Ghost-type and Psychic-type Pokémon are the most dangerous Pokémon in the Wild Battle environment!

"Ragnarok's ability is Guts, and after evolving into Tyranitar, it becomes Sandstorm. So I need to find a Special Attacker to strengthen it, as well as a Ghost-type and a Psychic-type Pokémon that can fight freely in sandstorm weather. That's four Pokémon."

That's right, Xia Ming is in his room planning his future team, a team entirely centered around Tyranitar, with all members conforming to his aesthetic and preferences.

As for the drawbacks? Tell my bond about them!

As for the second team? He had already thought it through. The second team consisted of six female Gardevoirs, and they could be trained as a logistics team.

This way, there are no downsides other than the cost!

"Then we need Pokémon that can counter the type weaknesses, especially Fighting and Fairy types, emmm, so the team composition is decided!"

It took Xia Ming a full half hour to list out each Pokémon in his room with pen and paper, and finally finalized his choice of six Pokémon for his future team:

Tyranitar, Metagross, Aegislash, Duraludon, Garchomp, Scizor.

It seems strange from the perspective of team composition in battles, right? That's right, because Xia Ming isn't a complete battle enthusiast; he's more concerned with which Pokémon he likes.

Metagross and Aegislash are responsible for protecting Xia Ming's life and safety, respectively, while Aegislash is used to ambush other trainers in wild battles. Also, because both of them are Steel-type, they are unaffected by sandstorms.

Tyranitar and Duraludon are the main attackers, while Garchomp and Scizor are responsible for quickly eliminating any Pokémon that approach during the sandstorm.

This lineup also features four Pokémon capable of Mega Evolution, allowing for strategic shifts at any time.

It can be said that apart from being expensive, it has few drawbacks and can perform well in the wild battle environment of Hyperdimensional Action.

Of course, this lineup is only strong before the Elite Four level. Once Xia Ming is strong enough to train Elite Four Pokémon, he will have to change his approach. That will be a completely insurmountable field using conventional thinking.

"It's incredibly expensive. If it weren't for this farm, I wouldn't have the confidence to raise so many late-blooming Pokémon. The resources used for training them are astronomical!"

Xia Ming's confidence in making bold plans stemmed from the farm he inherited; otherwise, he wouldn't have been able to afford the expenses of two quasi-gods.

Speaking of money, Xia Ming also plans to venture into the mainstream self-media industry, which was his initial intention.

"We still need to do some market research. Hopefully, the field of farm daily life and cultivation life won't be too crowded."

He definitely can't squeeze into the breeding and battle tracks, but he might be able to get into the daily farm tracks.

After tidying up his room a little, Xia Ming went out to check on how to cultivate his land.

To be honest, he was a novice farmer, with only a few casual remarks from his grandfather when he was a child about farming.

"Oh right, Grandpa's farming diary! How could I have forgotten about that!"

Suddenly, Xia Ming remembered that he was the farmer's grandson, and his grandfather's farming diary should contain a lot of records of his work.

He remembered that diary; when he was sorting through his grandfather's belongings, he had kept it in a drawer in the room of the mountain king.

"Bang~"

"Good morning, Pangolin. You eat first, I'll go get Grandpa's diary. We'll start measuring the farmland this afternoon."

"Bang~"
