Chapter 82
: My Relatives, My Sister Ralts, is Named Xia Qing
"Nah?"
The little guy, held in Gardevoir's arms, put his finger in his mouth and tilted his head to look at the unfamiliar human in front of him.
There was a feeling of great familiarity about Xia Ming, but it was very faint, as if a long time had passed.
In the wild, the hatching of Pokémon eggs without the aid of incubation devices is a very long process, which may take a year, two years or even longer. Only a very few Pokémon have evolved to the point where they can hatch in a few months or even a few weeks.
This Ralts isn't very old, but it's not young either.
The shiny Ralts has a blue head, its body changes from white to a light pink, and the antennae on its forehead change from pink to a creamy yellow.
They look so cute, Xia Ming simply couldn't resist them.
He reached out and took the little one from Gardevoir's hands. She didn't resist; instead, she happily gave Xia Ming a hug, even though she couldn't reach his waist with her arms outstretched.
"What should I call you? Little sister or little brother?"
From a family perspective, it's perfectly reasonable to say that this Ralts is Xia Ming's younger brother or sister. Aside from the relationship between Pokémon and trainer, there's a natural family bond between them.
"Naru~?"
Hello, I am your sister?
"Ailu, Ailu".
Her name is Xia Qing, a human name your father gave her when she was still an egg. I hope you can take good care of her.
Ralts' father, Gallade, was also introducing his child to Xia Ming from the side.
He was very reluctant to part with his beloved daughter, but his partner had already decided where the little one would end up.
When Xia Ming was ten years old, this Ralts should have been his first Pokémon, and it was part of his family.
Unfortunately, due to an accident, this little guy is only now meeting his older brother, Xia Ming.
"Xia Qing, what a lovely name. Don't worry, I'll take good care of her, but I probably won't take her with me to the battles..."
Nodding, Xia Ming understood the situation and was prepared to take care of the little guy, but he did not abandon his plan to form a team because of her arrival.
Gardevoir... to be honest, it's not as versatile as Metagross. Metagross's supercomputing power and psychic abilities make it a decisive force in any environment.
A team that already has a Psychic-type doesn't need another Psychic-type to make up for this deficiency.
"Ailu..."
That would be best. I also hope she can live a happier life...
Xia Ming could sense that Gallade was clearly relieved; he didn't want his child to suffer the same fate as his partner.
For loyal Pokémon like Gardevoir and Gallade, unwavering loyalty is not a false promise.
He probably will never find a second partner in his life.
…………
Time flies, just like Dialga is being chased by Palkia.
Xia Ming took Ralts and left the back mountain, returning to the farm.
"How lucky! Naturally shiny Pokémon are rare, especially a female Ralts, which is extremely popular and rare. By the way, what were those Pokémon saying to you just now?"
On the way, Mingyi, having finished this somewhat thrilling journey, started gossiping with Xiaming.
Mingyi, who had not gained the Pokémon's approval, could not understand the meaning of their words. She only knew that the group of Pokémon had suddenly rioted. After being calmed down, they gave Xia Ming a super rare shiny female Ralts!
However, Mingyi is not envious. Thanks to the emergence of the Hyperdimension Derwen Company, shiny Pokémon can be obtained at any time, it's just that it's expensive.
If you like your Pokémon, you can use the precious "Holy Ash Crystal" to buy an item called "Shin-Change Card" to transform your Pokémon into a Shin-colored form.
Many trainers have a misconception that shiny Pokémon represent higher talent.
But this is actually incorrect; it should be:
"Shiny Pokémon that survive in the wild are destined to be powerful."
However, it is undeniable that many Pokémon's shiny forms do possess an irresistible charm.
"It's nothing, I just need to contact Officer Jenny and the Alliance when I have some free time."
"Alright then~"
Mingyi didn't press for details, and then returned to the farm to start playing with Ralts.
The little one wasn't particularly energetic, but when she appeared in a completely new and novel environment, her curiosity ignited her energy.
Sometimes she would play with Mingyi and Bailu, and sometimes she would follow Xia Ming around with the lily root dolls to watch him work.
Although he has already inspected the planted cranberries, he also needs to prepare for the next batch of tree fruit planting, right?
So they pulled in the pangolin and started cultivating more land nearby.
He plans to plant 30 acres of cranberries next time to challenge himself.
"Nah-na-lu~?"
Brother, what are you doing?
"I'm working with the Sandshrew to prepare for planting more fruit trees. What kind of fruit do you like to eat? How about I plant some for you?"
"Naaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa"
My brother is so kind! I want to eat some melon seeds! These are the best!
Is this super sweet citrus fruit? It's not cheap, and it's several times harder to grow than cranberries!
But... she's already calling me "brother"!
"Okay, but citrus fruits can only be planted in the summer. Next year, your brother will plant a whole patch of citrus fruits for you so you can eat them however you want, okay?"
While digging holes for planting cranberries, Xia Ming smiled and decided to fulfill Xia Qing's wish.
If we categorize tree fruits by their cultivation grade, those with a flavor score of 10 are undoubtedly the lowest tier.
The fruits above are those with a flavor value of 20, 30, and 40 respectively.
Guasi fruit is an ultra-sweet tree fruit with a sweetness level of up to 40. It is used to make high-end energy cubes and premium "cute desserts". On the market, a single guasi fruit can sell for a sky-high price of 400 Alliance Coins!
However, its growing conditions are even more demanding than those of ordinary cones, making it a nightmare to cultivate.
But if this is what his younger sister wants, Xia Ming, as her older brother, is definitely capable of fulfilling it!
"Bang~"
What an energetic kid, Xia Ming! This is going to be a tough challenge.
Pangolin patted its belly from a short distance away.
"Waaaaaah~"
We believe in you, Xia Ming, you are the best farmer.
The Lily Root Dolls surrounding Xia Ming cheered him on, believing that he could grow a melon fruit that would satisfy Ralts.
At this point, Ralts realized that her request seemed difficult, so she chose...
"Naru~!"
Brother, wipe your sweat and keep going!
Using his telekinesis to manipulate a towel to wipe Xia Ming's sweat, Ralts chose to believe that his brother could do it!
"Hmm, everyone looks so cute, right, Mingyi?"
"If you ignore his habit of blocking evacuation points, this guy actually looks pretty cool when he makes a promise."
