Chapter 11

Young Might Guy

Chapter 11 Young Might Guy

Konoha Village, food street.

The morning light shone on the street, and there was a slight chill in the air.

A gentle breeze blew the banners displayed by shops along the street, allowing early risers to enjoy a rare moment of coolness.

It was late August in the Naruto world, the last hottest period of the year.

Many of the shops in the snack street have already opened, and these breakfast shop owners are probably among the earliest risers in Konoha.

Suzuki walked along the food street as usual.

The sounds of vendors hawking their wares could be heard from time to time.

"Fresh meatballs! A must-have for breakfast~ Come and take a look~" These are Hanako's favorite meatballs.

It is also one of the three giants of Konoha's food street. The other two giants are Ichiraku Ramen from the Teuchi family and yakiniku (grilled meat) from the Akimichi family.

And the owner of this shop is open from morning till night!

Anyway, I've never seen Suzuki close down; maybe business is just so good that it's open 24 hours a day.

"Freshly cooked miso soup, come and take a look!" a miso soup vendor called out, but business seemed slow.

There are also rice, rice balls, bread, and the like.

There are actually noodle shops, but they are few and far between. Most of them are not in this area. For example, Ichiraku Ramen is several kilometers away from here.

It's relatively close to the Konoha Ninja Academy.

Suzuki prefers to eat rice in the morning, but for convenience, he usually buys rice balls.

As usual, Suzuki arrived at the rice ball shop, but before he could even speak,

The rice ball shop owner saw Suzuki and said with a smile:

"Hey, Suzuki! You're up so early again today. Are you getting ready for training?"

Suzuki smiled and said to the rice ball shop owner:

"I'm not as early as you, boss. Training is fine anytime, let's eat first!"

"Oh, right, I'll have five rice balls and a cup of soy milk."

The rice ball shop owner, while deftly packing rice balls into bowls, smiled and said:

"Haha, that's business, early is normal. Here, take it, 110 taels~"

This rice ball shop is an old establishment on this street, and the prices are very reasonable. A palm-sized rice ball costs only 20 liang (100 grams), and soy milk is only 10 liang (50 grams).

It's as cheap as Ichiraku Ramen.

The cheapest rice at Ichiraku Ramen costs 15 taels, and the ramen noodles are only a few dozen taels.

Suzuki took out some silver from his pocket and handed it to the shopkeeper.

It's still early; there are about two hours before school starts.

However, Suzuki was not prepared to train today.

The main reason is that his usual training involves running around the Konoha snack street in the morning.

Now that his body has suddenly improved dramatically, it wouldn't be good to continue as before; it would be too conspicuous.

Many people in the neighborhood know him. He used to complete his goals in a certain amount of time, but now he's suddenly completed them in much less time. Surely, some people will notice.

So Suzuki got up so early this morning to find a new training location.

It's best to live far from home!

With that in mind, Suzuki walked along the food street, intending to take a look at the edge of Konoha Village.

As Suzuki ate his rice ball, he thought about the items his clones had brought back and were still stored at home.

Suzuki hasn't tried sea king-like meat yet, but he plans to grill it for lunch. If it works well or tastes good, he can have his clones bring back more in three months.

The clone brought back nearly 100 pounds this time. If he eats one pound a day, it will be enough for him to eat for 100 days, basically achieving barbecue freedom.

There's also gold; I need to find an opportunity to sell it and buy some research equipment. I need to try to study the various biological tissues in the One Piece world.

Finally, there's the dagger. I must say, the craftsmanship of this dagger is truly exquisite.

Even in the Naruto world, aside from those special weapons infused with chakra metal, it's already considered top-tier.

However, he doesn't actually need it right now; on the contrary, he needs a clone the most.

However, considering that he had difficulty making money in the Naruto world and was not very wealthy, it was left to him.

As for his clones, he can earn a lot by killing more pirates in the One Piece world.

In the world of One Piece, the bounties offered by the World Government, the Navy, and various countries are actually quite substantial.

It's much more than what Naruto offers. Even an S-rank mission in Konoha only has a bounty of around one million ryo, which is about the same as ten million Berries in One Piece.

But the difficulty of earning them is worlds apart...

Soon, Suzuki arrived at the edge of Konoha Village.

Konoha Village is surrounded by mountains, so the edges are mountain cliffs.

Suzuki didn't come from the Forest of Death.

There are relatively few trees here, but there is a lake, which looks like the place where the Uchiha clan will relocate in the future.

This lake is exactly the same as the place where Itachi Uchiha trained Sasuke in the original manga!

Generally speaking, very few people come here. Even the ninjas usually train near the Forest of Death.

To Suzuki's surprise, he heard the sounds of people—no, children—training.

"Fifty-seven~"

"Fifty-eight~"

"Fifty-nine!"

"sixty!"

Suzuki silently approached and saw a child doing push-ups on an open space by the lake.

Although she was very young, and looked only two or three years old, she was so well-recognized in that green bodysuit that it was hard not to recognize her...

The future Blue Beast of Konoha - Might Guy!

"Sixty-three~"

"Sixty-four... Huh???"

Upon seeing someone arrive, young Matt Kai seemed a little shy and accidentally lay down on the ground.

Then, using its short limbs to support itself on the ground, it quickly got up again, only to plop down on the ground once more…

"..."

Suzuki twitched the corner of his mouth, somewhat speechless.

He never expected that his first meeting with Matt Kay would be like this.

That's normal, considering how young they are.

A gentle smile appeared on Suzuki's face as he looked at Might Guy and said:

"Is the child alright?"

Matt Kai waved his arm, his face flushing red, whether from exercise or embarrassment, it was hard to tell.

"Ah, it's nothing, it's nothing~"

Suzuki rarely has moments of interest or people he wants to get to know, but Might Guy is an exception.

Suzuki walked over to Might Guy's side and sat down on the ground as well, casually asking:

"Kid, what's your name? Where are you from? My name is Suzuki, a fourth-year student at the Konoha Ninja Academy."

Might Guy looked at Suzuki, who didn't seem very old, and upon hearing that Suzuki was a student at the Ninja Academy, he glanced at Suzuki with a hint of envy, then lowered his head with a slightly disappointed voice and said:

"Uh, my name is Kai, Might Kai, my father is Might Day..."

"Dai ah~" Suzuki said with a hint of wistfulness.

Matt Kai looked up in surprise:

Do you know my father?

He thought his father was insignificant in the village, after all, he was just a low-ranking ninja, and even though he was over thirty, he was still doing those very low-level tasks all day long...

"Ah, I know him. Might Guy is a very nice person, and I respect him a lot!" Suzuki wasn't lying; he did know Might Guy, but he didn't know if Might Guy knew him.

In Konoha, especially among some villagers who are not ninjas, Might Guy actually has a very good reputation.

Matt Day always does some low-level tasks, but those tasks genuinely help others.

Might Guy looked at Suzuki with some suspicion, and couldn't help but purse his lips:

"Don't lie to me, I know about my father's situation, the kind of person he is..."

Young Might Guy didn't understand his father, Might Dai. He knew his father worked hard, but he also knew that his father was looked down upon by many ninjas.

Suzuki patted young Might Guy's head and said with a soft laugh:

"What's wrong with wearing it? I think wearing it is great. Are you implying that you see many people looking down on you, is that right?"

Before Might Guy could answer, Suzuki patted his head again, smiled, and said:

"Don't worry about this, Kai. Your father is a very capable person. Those who laugh at him are just fools who can't see the future."

"People who work hard should not be ridiculed; any dream that is being pursued deserves respect!"
