Chapter 15

Bloody and Cruel

The legendary knight Baron was killed by Meteorite, which became the hottest topic among the leaderless wizard apprentices of the Sea Wheel at this time.

No one knew why Baron suddenly attacked Yunli, but everyone understood that the great wizard Dila must have been behind it.

Otherwise, Baron would not have launched a surprise attack on Yunli without a reason.

But little did anyone know that Yunli, who was idly playing with the white mice, seemed to have been prepared all along, and engaged in a fierce battle with Baron, who had ambushed her.

After several rounds of bizarre witchcraft and attacks with axe carrying immense power, Baron's head suddenly vanished, the cut on his neck as smooth as a mirror, and then the headless corpse fell forever.

Yunli remained indifferent. After catching her breath slightly, she seemed completely unconcerned about Baron's attack and continued to nonchalantly play with the white mouse in her hand.

Yunli's expression stunned everyone who witnessed his fierce battle. They all felt that what was in front of them was a monster, not a human at all.

Nobody wants to mess with a monster.

One day later.

As a massive shadow loomed over the Lilith Hut Wizarding Academy's ocean liner, numerous wizarding apprentices emerged from their cabins, staring in horror at the shadow that was entirely composed of black crows in the sky.

No one knows whether the wizard Dila is dead or alive.

A mysterious wizard slowly descended from the dark clouds. As he landed, countless crows transformed into two torrents, crowding together and flying into the wizard's wide sleeves. The space inside the wizard's sleeves seemed endless, and in the blink of an eye, the dark clouds in the sky disappeared.

The mysterious wizard landed in the center of the deck. When everyone saw what the wizard looked like, they all gasped in horror.

This wizard's face had no eyes, no nose, and no mouth; his entire face was smooth, as if a layer of skin had been laid on his head, which was extremely frightening.

"Hey kids, welcome to Blacksota Wizarding Academy!"

This ocean liner, which was originally heading to Lilith's Hut Wizarding Academy, was hijacked by another "evil wizarding academy" that looked even more powerful!

The mysterious wizard's eyeless face surveyed the surroundings before settling on Yunli and Bibiliona, then said in a sinister voice, "You can call me Nirmaza, or you can call me the Faceless Mask, hehehehe, I don't care."

Just as everyone was feeling uneasy, a wizard apprentice calmly stepped out from the crowd, handed a raven to the wizard, and said in a deep voice, "Mentor."

"Hmm, well done."

The Masked Wizard praised the wizard apprentice, and the raven flapped its wings and disappeared into the wizard's wide sleeve.

The numerous wizard apprentices on the deck stared intently at this wizard apprentice.

At this point, everyone would understand that it was this wizard apprentice who had betrayed Wizard Dila as an inside agent.

This is chilling. Who is this guy?

On the other side, Green, Raffi, Joklis, and Yorkliana were already dumbfounded and sweating profusely, because the wizard apprentice who stepped forward was actually Gillum, the guy who disdained to speak to Green and the others!

However, even at this moment, Kirum still ignored Green and the others, as if he had never taken them seriously from the beginning. Instead, he began to look at Yunli and Bibi Leona with great interest.

The Faceless Mask had no interest in the thoughts of these wizard apprentices.

After a moment of chilling, wicked laughter, the Masked Man said in a cold voice, "Black Tower Wizarding Academy is a dark wizarding academy in the twelfth district of the Seventh Ring Holy Tower. It believes in mutual competition, the survival of the fittest, and natural selection!"

At this point, the wizard let out a low, wicked laugh.

"Hehe, so, in order to help you better adapt to your future academy life, and also to weed out some of the useless and defective ones among you, starting today, I will establish a rule on this ship..."

Every wizarding apprentice listened intently to the words of the Mask of No Form, afraid of missing anything.

"From today onwards, every second morning I must find five people thrown overboard from the ship, or else... heh heh, I'll randomly kill ten of you!"

After calmly uttering these cruel words, the wizard raised his hand and casually pointed at a sailor in the distance.

Without any warning, the sailor suddenly exploded into pieces with a loud "bang," scattering countless fragments of blood and flesh in all directions.

The wizard's apprentice, drenched in blood and bits of flesh, screamed loudly, plunging the deck into chaos. The wizard, however, paid no heed, calmly saying, "Like this."

All the wizard apprentices on the ship felt a chill run through their bodies and stared at the wizard in fear, as if they were looking at a cannibalistic demon.

Ignoring the terrified looks on the faces of his many apprentice wizards, the wizard sneered, "From today onward, my words on this ship are the rules, unless any of you can defeat or kill me! Hehehehe, little ones, see you tomorrow!"

After saying that, the wizard ignored everyone and built a luxurious and comfortable tent on the edge of the deck. He then beckoned the boatswain to go inside, seemingly planning a new voyage route.

On the deck, everyone looked around warily, as if everyone felt uneasy. Even Green couldn't help but glance at Yoris, Yokliana, and Raffi next to him.

Joris, pulling his sister along, quickly said, "We shouldn't do what the wizard said, should we?"

"I don't want to die! Maybe I should, just to survive!"

Raffi seemed to glance at Green, whether intentionally or unintentionally. The two siblings, Joklis and his sister, seemed quite shocked that Raffi could say such a thing, while Green accepted it calmly, as he was also focused on thinking about the matter.

However, Green felt a bitter taste in his mouth.

If it takes forty days to reach the Black Tower Wizarding Academy, does that mean two hundred people will have to be thrown into the sea?

But if it were sixty days, would I still have a chance to survive, given my strength?

"what……"

Suddenly, a scream came from the deck. Everyone looked over and saw a female wizard apprentice holding a sharp knife, stabbing a male wizard apprentice in the chest.

The witch apprentice's once pretty face was now completely contorted with rage as she screamed, "If it weren't for you, Rhea wouldn't have died yesterday! I'm going to kill you!"

The witch apprentice went somewhat mad, repeatedly stabbing the male witch apprentice in the chest with a knife.

Upon hearing this, everyone knew that there must have been some conflict between the two, and given the witch apprentice's current madness, no one wanted to get involved.

However, it cannot be ruled out that the female apprentice was doing this to complete a "task" set by the wizard.

With extreme caution, all the apprentices began to leave the deck. Even Green and his group planned to go to Raffi's room to discuss their next move. For a moment, only three people remained on the deck: Yunli, Bibi Leona, and Kirum.

Having previously slain many sea monsters, the strength of Yunli and Bibi Leona goes without saying. Kirum, who was accepted as a student by this terrifying wizard, is certainly no ordinary person either. Who knows what might happen between the three of them?

However, it's best not to get involved in this kind of thing, otherwise, what if these people have murderous intentions...

"What should we do? I never expected that Kirum was actually a disciple and confidant of the Masked Wizard. Oh, right, his name is Soram now."

Inside the room, Joklis frowned as he looked at Raffi and Green.

With a cold snort, Raffi said, "What else can we do? We'll just have to take it one step at a time."

As he spoke, Raffi picked up a small, exquisitely crafted crossbow and said in a cold voice, "Although this isn't a magical artifact, the potent poison coated on it is enough to kill a fully grown elephant!"

Green felt a chill and quickly said, "There's no need to rush. You know we'll be sailing on the high seas for a long time. Besides, Soram hasn't shown any hostility towards us; he doesn't seem to care about us at all."

Raffi nodded, put away the exquisite crossbow, and then the four of them squeezed into a room and went to sleep.

As for Binghamson, that guy has disappeared again, having gotten involved with someone in the lowest deck of the ship.

The next morning, amidst a commotion, Green and his companions arrived on the deck.

At this moment, almost everyone on the deck had formed small groups, and these groups were quite far apart, watching the people around them warily, as if they would take action immediately if anything seemed amiss.

After standing there for a while, the Masked Wizard suddenly smiled calmly and said, "Hehe, three are missing, two more are needed? Well then..."

Thud! Thud! Thud! Crash!

As the Masked Wizard of No Form casually pointed four times at the crowd without even looking, four people in the crowd suddenly exploded for no reason. Blood and bits of flesh covered almost everyone on the deck, including one of them who was in the small group next to Green!

"what……"

As the man was blown apart, one of the witch apprentices in the group collapsed to the ground, letting out piercing screams and cries.

Green, Raffi, Joklis, and Yorkriana froze as they wiped the blood from their faces.

Green even found some pieces of meat on his clothes, and the strong smell of blood told him that it was real!

"vomit……"

Raffi and the Jockey siblings vomited simultaneously, while Green, though feeling unwell, showed no signs of vomiting. He helped the three of them up and cautiously looked around at the others.

The Faceless Mask completely ignored the commotion. Although he had no eyes, everyone could feel that he had scanned each person.

The wizard sneered, "Black Tower Wizarding Academy is also a member of the Seven Rings Holy Tower, a member of the elemental wizards, and is subject to the control of the Wizarding Alliance, so it will not slaughter human civilians. Hehehehe, but you must remember, you are now wizarding apprentices, no longer civilians, and the wizarding path to seek truth is full of thorns and obstacles."

Turning to leave, Masked Man suddenly said coldly, "Apart from Boatswain Laboon, Solem, Meteorite, and Bibiliona, if any of you little brats don't want to be killed by me for no reason the next day, you'd better kill five of them first."

Solem and Yunli turned and left without looking back. Bibi Leona glanced coldly at everyone, then her innocent face revealed a light smile of great interest.

At this moment, almost everyone on the deck was covered in blood and flesh, exuding a strong bloody smell, looking like villains who had walked out of hell, but no one dared to move rashly to clean them.

Because everyone knows that if the five people to die aren't decided today, no one can guarantee that they won't suddenly explode the next day, turning into pieces of flesh and blood with a "bang".

"kill!"

After a roar, the sea monster's remaining dozen or so sailors suddenly went berserk, wielding short swords and slashing wildly at a small group of wizard apprentices not far from them. The crew was momentarily stunned!

This small group of wizard apprentices consisted of exactly five people, and they didn't have any magical abilities. To be honest, these people were just kids whose families could afford a gold coin and who were lucky. They were no match for these dozen or so sailors whose strength was completely at the level of knights.

In the blink of an eye, the five wizard apprentices were killed amidst their wailing.

With bloodshot eyes, a dozen sailors calmly tossed the bodies of five wizard apprentices into the sea, then coldly surveyed the crowd.

A lead sailor said in a chilling voice, "Nobody wants to die, but the wizarding world is cruel like this. Hmph, from today onwards, you are no longer the noble wizarding apprentices on the ship, able to order us around as you please."

As he spoke, the sailor leader tossed the bloodstained knife in his hand.

"From today onwards, you all had better find five scapegoats yourselves, otherwise we don't mind putting in some extra effort."

After saying that, the sailors, exuding a menacing aura, entered the cabin.

Green and his three companions turned pale, because their squad had just been right next to this group of menacing sailors!

Wade went into the sea monster's belly, Binghamson temporarily joined another small group, Soram became a high-ranking strongman, and Green's small group underwent many changes.

Meanwhile, a problem arose for many small groups of wizard apprentices: how to decide on those five damned spots!
