The Great Dao of Gu

Chapter 177 The Great Dao of Gu

Many Quasi-Saints personally witnessed the great battle between the Dao and the Demon in the past, which meant they entered the past to relive the battle and could see just how many treasures the Dao Ancestor Hongjun had taken away.

Originally, although Hongjun Daozu possessed the Pangu Banner, a supreme innate treasure, and the remnants of the Creation Jade Tablet, he didn't have many other treasures. At most, he had a second-grade merit lotus and a Taiji whisk.

However, after the great war between the Dao and the Demon, many patriarchs died, and Dao Ancestor Hongjun naturally accepted their treasures with a smile.

Examples include the Eastern Azure Lotus Banner of the Five Elements Ancestor, the Southern Flame Banner of the Earth, the Western Plain Cloud Banner, and the Central Apricot Yellow Banner; the Qiankun Diagram of the Qiankun Ancestor; the Taiji Gate and the Primordial Treasure Taiji Diagram of the Taiji Ancestor; the Heavenly Demon Tower, the Myriad Demon Diagram, and the Primordial Treasure Immortal Slaughtering Sword Formation of the Rahu Demon Ancestor; and the Yin-Yang Thunder Pool and the Yin-Yang Gate of the Yin-Yang Ancestor, among others.

Almost all of these treasures ended up in the possession of Dao Ancestor Hongjun. The worst of them were innate spiritual treasures of the sect leader level, such as the Five Banners of the Primordial God, and there were even two supreme innate treasures.

Hongjun Daozu can be considered the richest man in the prehistoric world.

Therefore, Panwang Ancestor's guess was not false, after all, there are only six innate treasures in the prehistoric world.

The Three Treasures of Creation are three items: Lao Tzu's Xuanhuang Pagoda, Luo's Immortal Slaughtering Sword Formation, and another item that is also a treasure of acquired merit. This item complements the Xuanhuang Pagoda and is also formed from the merit of Pangu's creation of the world, but it is no longer mixed with the Xuanhuang Qi, but with the chaotic Yang Qi in Pangu's body.

This acquired treasure of merit is the Yuan Yang Gong Measuring Ruler, also known as the Measuring Ruler.

As its name suggests, the Measuring Ruler itself carries the meaning of measuring the world. It is said that even the vastness of heaven and earth can be measured to obtain a specific number, instead of being a vague and unclear name.

Whether it's the Three Treasures of Creation, the Immortal Slaughtering Sword Formation, or the Exquisite Pagoda of Heaven and Earth, almost all of them already have a clear owner.

The Yuan Yang Merit Measuring Ruler is nowhere to be found. No one seems to have the fortune to obtain it, nor has anyone recognized it as their master. It remains as mysterious and difficult to understand as ever.

However, many deities speculated that the treasure was either in the hands of the Three Pure Ones or the Dao Ancestor Hongjun.

After all, this item was created by Pangu's merit in creating the world, and it is destined to be associated with Pangu. Anyone who can obtain it must also be someone who has a connection with Pangu.

Although the origins of Hongjun Daozu are unknown, the fact that he was able to stand out among the many great gods who created the world shows that this Daozu was no pushover. Moreover, the fact that he was able to obtain the Pangu Banner, a treasure with Pangu's name as his own, suggests that the connection between Hongjun Daozu and Pangu is extremely deep. It is even highly likely that he was the reincarnation of Pangu's Dao heart!

Although the concept of "Taoist mind" is not a real thing, but rather a state of mind or a perception of oneself, in Pangu, even the most incredible things could become real, because he was Pangu.

Although Panwang Laozu's words were tempting, Guang Chengzi had a very clear understanding of himself.

He is merely the one who ignites the flame now. Although he is important, the other great gods who are hiding in the primordial world of gods are not without value.

Although he could gain great merit, it was impossible for him to take it all for himself. If he were to invade the Divine Realm alone, it wouldn't be unreasonable to reward him with several innate treasures.

However, given his current achievements, it would be quite good if he could obtain one or two treasures like the Five Elements Flags of the Primordial Chaos.

Of course, because of the connection with Yuanshi Tianzun, Guangchengzi might be able to obtain more, but it's impossible for him to obtain a primordial treasure. There are only four such treasures in the entire prehistoric world.

Even if you add two more acquired merit treasures, there are only six. How could you possibly bestow them upon him?

These people chatted idly here, and occasionally Panwang Patriarch would personally demonstrate the Great Dao of Gu, seemingly intending to befriend Guangchengzi, a person with a bright future. Panwang Patriarch's movements were extremely slow, obviously deliberately spreading the true essence of his own Great Dao.

Guang Chengzi was well aware of Pan Wang Lao Zu's actions, but he did not give up any opportunity to become stronger and immediately began to learn the essence of Pan Wang Lao Zu's own Dao.

The Great Dao of Gu contains the essence of the three Great Daos: the Great Dao of Poison, the Great Dao of Disease, and the Great Dao of Insects. Panwang Laozu, with great wisdom and perseverance, condensed them into a single Great Dao.

Although these three paths may not necessarily be inferior to the Gu Dao, the Gu Dao must possess many of the mysteries of these three paths, as well as the Gu Dao secrets that are integrated into one.

Just as the path of poison originated from the path of medicine, these two paths are like yin and yang, inseparable.

Not every physician is a poison master, but every poison master is necessarily a physician; this is the essence of the Gu Dao (the Way of Gu).

Every Gu Master is an extremely powerful master of disease, poison, and insect. If one does not comprehend the profound mysteries of these three paths of disease, poison, and insect to an extremely deep level, then one's cultivation of the Great Dao of Gu will not reach any profound level.

"The human body has 840 million particles of flesh and blood. Within each particle of flesh and blood are 840 million worms. Above each worm are 840 million wisps of qi. Within each wisp of qi are 840 million kinds of poisons. And each poison can be made into 840 million kinds of gu. By learning gu techniques, one can devour poisons, exhale and exhale qi, kill worms, and learn the mysteries of the human body."

The general principle of the Great Dao of Gu is to explore the mysteries of the human body. There are many great Daos that focus on the human body.

It is said that Heaven has three treasures: the sun, moon, and stars; Earth has three treasures: water, fire, and wind; and humans have three treasures: essence, energy, and spirit.

The sky has the sun and moon, humans have eyes, the earth has the five sacred mountains, humans have the five internal organs, the sky has the four poles, humans have the four limbs, the earth has the six directions, and humans have the six viscera.

The human body itself is a symbol of heaven and earth, and can even expand itself into an infinite universe, just like the path walked by the witch clan, which is to transform themselves into an endless universe.

So when Nuwa killed Jumang, a universe of great Dao originating from wood was born directly on Jumang's corpse. It was Jumang who transformed his own body into countless mysteries, reflecting the profound mystery of the primordial world. He could be called the Lesser Primordial World or the Wood Primordial World.

As for the Daoist principles cultivated by Guang Chengzi, they are more inclined towards the primordial spirit, that is, reflecting one's own will onto the primordial world. As long as a thought arises, the primordial world appears; as long as a thought falls, the primordial world is annihilated.

In other words, I think, therefore I am. It is because I think that the world was created, and when I stop thinking, the world will be destroyed.

The cultivation of will and body has nothing to do with which is stronger or weaker, bigger or smaller; it's just a matter of which path suits you better.

Panwang Laozu's Great Dao of Gu also involves painstakingly cultivating the physical body, determined to transform himself into countless Gu.
