"The mind is like a monkey, and the will is like a horse. It is difficult to restrain it. It is still a monkey in the mind and a horse in the will. Its movements are only within itself. You can use the lock of the mind and the chain of will to lock the monkey and horse and subdue the chaotic demons."

True feelings remain unchanged, but true feelings are easily altered. Was I the same person I was ten thousand years ago? Even if my heart desires to kill, I can forcefully suppress it and question my true self: should I suffer such a fate? Will it be the same ten thousand years from now?
