Chapter 32
Hart's Special Thanks
Chapter 32 Hart's Special Thanks
For several days in a row, Wild Beast House was packed with customers. The group of handsome men were all in high spirits, and the generous tips they received every night kept them excited.
The lure of making money can drive people to do some incredible things.
In the dressing room, the group of handsome men were getting ready to change and put on makeup for their performance when their leader, Hart, suddenly yelled, "Who gave us the money to make our fortune?"
The stylish men shouted in a jumble, "Crazy customers!"
Hart continued, shouting, "Who brought those crazy customers?"
The men's voices were much more unified this time: "Martin Davis!"
"For Martin's dad!" Hart pulled out a box. "I'm raising funds!"
Carrington asked curiously, "Why?"
Hart looked around: "Is Martin our father?"
Someone laughed and said, "I'd call him God if it meant making money."
These days, the hottest guys who are making a fortune are all shouting, "From now on, we'll call Martin Dad!"
Hart was heartbroken: "But Martin's father only wants a daughter, not a son."
The handsome men fell silent instantly; this sad reality deeply wounded their hearts.
"The club used to be deserted, but Martin brought in a flood of customers, making it even more popular. Each of us earns more than a white-collar worker in the CBD!" Hart's voice was low and tearful. "How can we repay Martin?"
Carrington said, "Weren't you saving up for gender reassignment surgery to become Martin's daughter?"
Hart wiped his nose: "Martin is our father, I can't be too selfish, I can't monopolize him."
He raised his head, his expression extremely serious, his voice incredibly solemn: "So, I've made a decision! To thank Martin's father, we'll all pool our money to send him to Thailand for surgery, as he mentioned. After his surgery, we'll all cherish him together."
The atmosphere in the locker room suddenly exploded.
Carrington was the first to pull out his wallet, grabbing a handful of small denomination bills without even counting them, and stuffing them in: "We have to support this!"
"I support it too!"
Other handsome men also stuffed money into the box, shouting, "Let's give it to him together after the show ends today."
…………
As it was almost time to open, Martin was preparing some cocktail ingredients at the bar when he saw Bruce throwing away a cardboard box. He called out to him, "Give me the box."
Bruce threw it over.
Martin tossed the box that used to hold tips to Bruce: "It's too small, get a bigger one."
Bruce glanced at his small drawer and placed the box in the corner: "I'll use this."
There have been so many customers these past few days, and the tips they've given are huge; the small drawer simply can't hold them all.
Those fighters who championed freedom of nightlife absolutely loved the atmosphere of the House of the Beasts.
"The Beast House has become a nightlife club for freedom fighters." Bruce asked Martin, "And your rich woman? How's it going?"
Martin shrugged: "It's better than you licking the poster!" After their mutual insults, he said, "The rich lady is busy with work, she might come over this weekend."
He has been watching the news lately. Although the Freedom Church and the Methodist Church have not had any direct conflicts, their mutual attacks on each other have never stopped.
Clearly, this involves a higher level of political struggle, even a contest between the donkeys and elephants in Atlanta.
Kelly Gray wanted to profit from this.
Dana's voice came from the second floor: "Martin!"
Martin wiped his hands, went upstairs to the office, and found that in addition to Vincent, there was an unusually large woman sitting on the sofa.
His exact age was hard to discern, but he was nearly 1.8 meters tall, and his arms, calves, and neck, which were exposed outside his clothes, were all incredibly muscular.
The legendary fitness witch.
"This is Sophia," Vincent casually introduced, taking off his cowboy hat, pulling a check from a drawer, and pushing it towards Martin: "This is for you."
Martin had spent all that time and effort on this, all for the money. He picked it up, glanced at the numbers, and said, "Thank you, boss."
Without his hat, Vincent's aquiline nose was more prominent, but he looked somewhat gentler: "You did a great job. If you have any other ideas, feel free to come to me anytime."
He grasped the key to motivating Martin: "I am a generous person."
Martin didn't mind flattering him: "You're a good boss."
After Martin left, Sofia asked, "Is he the key figure behind the club's soaring performance?"
Vincent said, "He has a lot of ideas, but he's a penniless wretch."
Sofia rubbed the calluses on her fingers: "He's a real talent."
"Don't do anything reckless!" Vincent warned, "How difficult is it to find someone with brains among the poor? Let him go, he's still young and can't take your messing around."
…………
Martin put away the checks and returned to the bar.
Bruce knew why he went upstairs, but instead of asking for the exact amount, he simply said, "You should compensate me."
Martin was initially puzzled, then it dawned on him: "The back door?"
Bruce was anything but civilized at that moment: "You idiot, you made me miss the best opportunity."
"I'll make it up to you." Martin was very generous: "The Men's Group's income has skyrocketed recently, and Hart has been wanting to thank me. I was going to refuse, but now I've decided to give Hart this opportunity and let him get ready for you."
Bruce pointed his finger at Martin, making a gun gesture: "I really want to crack open your head and see if it's filled with dog shit!"
Martin suddenly remembered something: "Who is Sofia?"
"The boss's stepmother," Bruce said, lowering his voice unconsciously. "She's a fitness fanatic with an excess of hormones. Her sexual needs are astonishing, almost terrifying. Be careful."
Martin nodded slightly.
There were still many customers tonight, and Martin and Bruce were extremely busy.
Around 9:30, fewer female customers came to order drinks.
A strong arm slammed onto the bar, and Sophia said to Bruce, "Long time no see."
Bruce forced a smile: "Good evening, Sophia. What brings you here?"
Sofia scanned the room: "Don't worry, I won't be looking for you tonight. Aren't you allowing men in? Why aren't any of you here?"
"It's not time yet." Bruce realized what was happening and picked up the walkie-talkie: "Ivan, start early tonight."
Sofia's gaze fell on Martin: "Interested in working for me?"
Martin, who prided himself on his unwavering loyalty and integrity, quickly glanced at Sophia's bulging flesh and her face, which was showing signs of losing collagen, and said with unusual firmness, "Vincent has been very good to me."
Sofia laughed: "Interesting, Vincent's generosity is quite endearing..."
"Idiot Martin!" someone suddenly interrupted. "Get a beer, and stop talking nonsense!"
Martin turned around, and Scott was standing in front of the bar.
This guy clearly dressed up to impress girls; aside from his rather shabby clothes, he's a handsome middle-aged man.
Seeing that Martin didn't move, Scott raised his voice: "Idiot Martin's father, seducing my wife..."
Bruce took a glass of beer and placed it in front of Scott.
Just then, Sophia's eyes fell on Scott, and Martin introduced him, saying, "This is Scott, a very interesting person."
Scott, an active and uninhibited man, noticed Sophia looking him over, picked up his drink, walked over, and slapped five dollars on the bar: "A drink for this beautiful lady, my treat."
Ten minutes later, Sofia and Scott left the club together.
Bruce said softly, "Hopefully he'll still be able to walk tomorrow."
Martin asked, "Old Brooks, have you actually experienced it?"
Bruce kept his mouth shut and didn't say a word to Martin until the club ended.
That person is so tactless!
Martin understood; Old Brooks had a very tragic past.
After all the customers left, the club quieted down. Hart, carrying a box, ran out from backstage, followed by Carrington and other stylish men who hadn't gone out.
Martin had a bad feeling.
Hart had practiced dancing for several months and had some basic skills. Using the smooth floor, he slid down to Martin on his knees, holding the box high above his head: "Dad Martin, this is a token of our gratitude."
Martin didn't answer; instead, he looked behind Hart and said, "A slide tackle that doesn't even get three hits? Thumbs down!"
Hart held the box up even higher, and Martin took it, finding it full of small-denomination bills. He asked, "What does this mean?"
"It's money pooled together by everyone in the 'Handsome Guys' group," Hart said with particular seriousness. "To thank you for bringing us customers, we've chipped in to treat you to a trip to Thailand..."
Martin roared, "You bunch of bastards, is this how you thank me? Old Brooks, pull out your gun and blow this shit out of the house!"
This amount of money is certainly not enough for surgery, but it's enough to hold a small party at the club.
Apart from the boss Vincent, the accountant Dana, and the handsome man who was out working, everyone else was drinking heartily.
