Chapter 70

Romantic Stars

Chapter 70 Romantic Stars

A black BMW stopped in front of the Biyue Bar. Martin got out of the car, sauntered into the bar, pulled out a high stool, and sat down in front of the bar counter.

He snapped his fingers inside: "Hey beautiful, a martini, please."

Elena glanced at Martin: "Did you have a tiring day at work?"

Martin took out some money and put it on the bar: "It was all action scenes. Luckily, I have good stamina and managed to finish filming them all."

Compared to him, Jenner was far inferior; she fell asleep in the dressing room before even removing her makeup.

As the soothing music played, the proprietress, Mary, came over to return the money to Martin: "It's on me."

Martin wouldn't put Elena in a difficult position: "Mary, if you don't take money, how am I supposed to come for drinks in the future?"

Mary smiled and put the money away.

Martin felt much better after drinking the cocktail Elena had mixed.

The bar wasn't crowded in the late afternoon, so Elena took out some paper and started folding paper airplanes.

In the GG section behind the bar, there is a large paper airplane GG.

Martin gestured with his eyes: "Are there many people who want it?"

Elena intentionally changed her past speaking habits and forced herself not to swear: "Many people have come to taste it because of its reputation. In the past few weeks, Paper Airplane's reputation has spread very quickly. Several bartenders from New York came all the way from Manhattan to exchange experiences with me. Actually, I can tell that they want to pay money to buy the recipe."

Martin maintained his stance: "You decide for yourself."

Elena poured Martin another glass of whiskey: "Drink slowly."

Martin nodded, and when someone came over to order a cocktail, he took the drink to a quiet place, took out his headphones, put them on, and started recording, as usual, learning Hollywood accents.

Just as I finished my drink, Lily, wearing a T-shirt and capri pants, came over from the bar.

Martin took off his headphones and pointed to the person opposite him: "Sit down."

Lily placed her backpack on the table, took out her water bottle, and drank water through the straw.

Martin said, "Put it away."

Lily, feeling wronged, put it away and asked curiously, "Did your filming go smoothly?"

Martin mumbled, "It was alright, all action scenes, very easy."

Lily asked, "Action scenes?"

Martin simply stated, "This is a horror action comedy, a vampire genre film with a lot of fight scenes, which was very tiring to film."

Lily said casually, "It's not hard for you, is it? You brag about being the most talented person in Atlanta? The most talented... huh?"

Martin pointed at her: "That's enough, shut up."

Lily asked, "Can I come watch you filming?"

Martin didn't want to talk to her: "Elena agrees."

Lily muttered indignantly, "Don't my sister have any rights?"

Martin took out his headphones, put them on, and completely ignored her.

Lily pulled a newspaper out of her bag, found the information page, and looked for part-time jobs that were available to people 14 years and older.

She was very clear about the family's situation.

Before dinner, Martin went to a nearby fast food restaurant and ordered hamburgers and fried chicken, then took Lily back to the Clayton neighborhood.

Not long after, Harris returned with another pizza.

Hall grabbed a hamburger and started eating, saying, "I dug a few more holes along the fence and stuck some branches in them. If anyone breaks their arm, don't blame me."

Lily snapped, "What else can you do besides dig holes all over the yard?"

"You two shut up." Martin, imitating Elena, used force to suppress her, and asked Harris, "Did you ask about what I said?"

Harris swallowed the pizza in his mouth: "Registering an astronomical association is very simple. If you're willing to spend a little money to hire a professional company to handle it, there won't be any problems."

Martin asked, "How's school and student loans going?"

"I received an offer from Georgia State University," Harris said briefly. "My student loan application is likely to be approved, and I'm working hard to earn money for living expenses and other costs."

Martin had an idea, though it wasn't certain if it would work out, since he'd only heard about it: "I have a brilliant idea that, if done well, should be better than going to school or doing part-time jobs."

Lily chimed in at the opportune moment: "Should we send Harris to work as a laborer on the film set?"

Before Martin could turn his gaze away, she picked up the hamburger, covered her mouth with it, but kept her ears perked up.

Martin said, "When we establish an astronomical society, we should come up with a catchy name and sell the stars in the name of the astronomical society."

Harris looked up at the window; it was just getting dark, and the stars were nowhere to be seen.

How much do you sell things from the sky? But he quickly realized: "Naming rights?"

Martin took a sip of water: "Yes, sell the naming rights."

Harris stated, "We don't have naming rights."

"I specifically consulted a lawyer, and neither the federal government nor Georgia has enacted any laws or regulations regarding star naming rights." Martin, who had only heard about this in his previous life and hadn't witnessed anyone actually doing it, roughly said, "Love is always especially romantic when it comes, and boys always go to great lengths to please girls, buying them a star and naming it after them. Can a girl who pursues romance accept that?"

Lily, eager to interrupt, spat out her hamburger: "Sure! Those love-struck young girls will go crazy. They love romance the most. If you give them these kinds of gifts, they'll be laughing in their sleep and will definitely brag about them everywhere."

Harris gradually understood: "Different astronomical societies name newly discovered stars differently."

Martin thought of diamonds and said, "When couples give each other a star, their love will last as long as the stars."

Lily looked at Martin with eyes full of admiration: "How did you come up with such a terrible idea?"

Martin was initially quite smug, but Lily's next words made him want to punch her: "Martin, I've noticed your IQ increased after you fell off the roof. Does hitting your head increase intelligence?"

Inspired by Martin, Harris kept thinking and began to have an idea: "It's not a simple naming; it requires a series of professional certificates, a relevant star chart that allows customers to find her star with a telescope, and also a beautiful packaging box."

He said, "The stars in the sky are out of reach and untouchable, but this event is very memorable."

Lily muttered, "It's practically risk-free and incredibly profitable."

Martin shook his head: "It's not that simple, although I don't know the specifics."

"That's true," Lily said bluntly, "You dropped out of high school..."

Martin raised his fist ahead of time.

Lily quickly changed her tune: "You're best at swindling and cheating."

Martin looked at Harris: "You're a top student, I can only offer an idea, the specifics are up to you."

Lily said, "Count me in. I'm confident I can get every lovestruck young woman in Marietta to buy one."

Harris stopped eating, took some documents from the cabinet next to him, and went to his room: "I need to study them carefully, don't bother me."

Before entering the room, he turned back and said, "Martin, if the deal goes through, half the profits are yours."

Martin waved his hand casually: "We can't sell too many."

I reckon earning enough to make a living shouldn't be a problem.
