Chapter 32

The Genetic Breeding System of the Red Tank

Chapter 32 The Genetic Breeding System of the Red Tank

The laboratory floor shook, dust fell like a drizzle, and the iron door shattered as if it had been attacked by a rocket.

As the dust settled, Logan stood up from behind the metal cabinet, shook off the dust, and quickly turned around to check on the others.

At the same time the white orb attacked, Logan shouted for cover and hid behind a heavy metal cabinet. Donald and the others quickly huddled in a corner and used a table to shield themselves from the impact of the explosion.

The dust kicked up by the explosion covered them all with a thick layer of dirt, making them look extremely disheveled.

"Go upstairs!"

Donald looked at the breached gate with a cold expression, glanced at the staircase leading to the second floor, and quickly ran up it.

Samuel and Josh quickly followed.

Logan glanced back at the Hydra team about to storm into the lab, thought for a moment, then reached out and wiped a layer of dust off the wall, rubbing it vigorously on his face until it was covered in ash, before hurriedly running towards the stairs.

He didn't want to be recognized by Hydra, otherwise those crazy guys would even go to great lengths to capture him and take him to their lab for all sorts of research!

"They're trying to escape, chase after them!"

The Hydra soldiers spotted the figures of several people fleeing towards the second floor and immediately waved and rushed up.

Meanwhile, Donald, who had climbed up to the second floor, pointed to a table and said, "Quickly, move this table over here!"

Samuel and Josh understood each other perfectly. Together, they flipped the table over to the stairwell on the second floor, creating a makeshift cover, and simultaneously raised their pistols, aiming them at the corner of the stairs.

Bang bang bang!

As soon as the Hydra soldiers peeked around the corner, several men opened fire without hesitation.

A dense barrage of bullets rained down like a downpour, and the Hydra soldier at the forefront was instantly pierced by bullets and fell to the ground.

Upon seeing this, the Hydra soldiers behind them were instantly terrified and quickly retreated behind the corner, exchanging bewildered glances and not daring to approach rashly.

Taking advantage of the moment when the Hydra soldiers stopped, Donald pointed to a nearby window.

Logan and the others understood, fired a few more bullets toward the stairwell, and then sprinted toward the window.

Logan, who was the first to be hit, did not hesitate to fly out and kick, the heavy force instantly shattering the thick glass into pieces.

Several people climbed out of the window and jumped into the backyard.

However, the sight in the backyard horrified Samuel and Josh.

"There are high walls behind us, how are we going to get out!"

Josh held up his pistol and looked around. The backyard looked like a makeshift playground, with some swings made of tires, a few bouncy trampolines, and so on.

Besides these rudimentary recreational facilities, there was a high wall three or four meters high, and even a hook net on the wall to prevent climbing.

"There's a backdoor!"

Donald glanced back to make sure the pursuers weren't catching up anytime soon, then led the group and ran wildly toward a corner at the far end of the backyard.

This is a thick iron gate embedded in the high wall, as thick as a hand, but fortunately it is not locked.

"Without a car, how are we going to get back?"

Samuel and Josh pushed the door open forcefully, while simultaneously asking Donald a question.

This place is at least ten kilometers away from the town, and it's getting dark. In this unfamiliar place, they could easily get lost in the deep forest!

"Let's shake off these guys first!"

Donald kept looking back, his brows furrowed.

Pushing open the heavy iron gate was no easy task; it took Samuel and Josh both exerting their strength to barely create a gap large enough for a person to pass through.

The group rushed outside, but as soon as they stepped out, they froze on the spot.

"Fuck!"

Donald couldn't help but curse, a hint of fear even flickering in the depths of his eyes.

Where do you want to go?

A rough voice reached their ears, the deep tone sounding like muffled thunder.

Logan stared intently at the figure blocking the doorway. Although the person was alone, Logan sensed danger emanating from him.

It was a towering figure, at least two and a half meters tall, covered in muscles, with shoulders as thick as buckets, and clenched fists that looked like huge iron fists. It also wore a heavy steel helmet on its head.

Compared to him, Logan and his friends were like giants and dwarfs!

"The Red Tank?"

Logan looked up at the giant's face and couldn't help but murmur aloud.

This person's appearance is almost identical to that of the Juggernaut, especially the helmet on his head, but underneath the helmet is a face that is completely different from the Juggernaut's.

boom!

The big guy stared at them, then suddenly smiled mockingly and stomped his foot on the ground.

His broad, thick feet stomped heavily on the ground, causing ripples to spread across the earth, as if an earthquake had struck.

His charging figure was like an out-of-control truck, relentlessly crashing into the crowd.

Logan's pupils contracted sharply, and he immediately leaped forward to tackle the enemy.

Bang!

The enormous body crashed heavily against the high wall, shattering the thick wall and sending broken bricks flying everywhere, creating a cloud of dust.

"Fuck!"

As Samuel lay sprawled on the ground, he looked back at the huge hole that had been smashed through the wall and couldn't help but curse aloud, his eyes filled with lingering fear.

If this hits someone, they'll probably be turned into mincemeat!

Not only him, but Donald and Josh were also still shaken.

Josh seized the opportunity, quickly raised his pistol, and fired repeatedly at the big guy.

Bang bang bang!

In no time, the magazine was emptied of bullets.

What made Josh's pupils shrink drastically was that the bullets could not cause him any harm at all!

The high-speed spinning bullet felt as if it had hit steel. The bullet was instantly crushed into a piece of iron and stuck to his chest, unable to even penetrate the surface of his skin!

Josh and Samuel felt a chill run down their spines.

"Bullets are useless against him!"

Donald focused intently and exclaimed, "This guy is an experimental subject bred using the genes of the Red Tank. The density of his flesh far exceeds that of aerospace steel; even armor-piercing tank shells would have difficulty harming him!"

"hiss!"

Josh and Samuel both gasped, exchanging bewildered glances.

Logan, however, remained calm, staring at the behemoth and saying, "Sure enough, it's the Juggernaut's genes."

When he first saw this big guy, he had a guess. Although the other party's size was very similar to the Juggernaut, it did not look like the Juggernaut that Logan knew. He guessed that this was a product of the Juggernaut's genes.

"What do we do now?"

Josh instinctively took a few steps back.

"roar!"

Before anyone could respond, the big guy roared and violently brushed away the shrapnel stuck to his body. He grabbed the wall, and with a gentle pull of his huge hand, a massive section of the wall was instantly ripped off and flung forcefully toward Logan and his men.

The wall, several meters high, hurtled towards them at high speed.

Logan flashed out and pulled Samuel along to successfully avoid the wall.

The massive wall slammed into the ground like a cannonball, instantly creating a huge crater and causing the ground to tremble.

"Damn it!"

Samuel turned his head in horror to look at the huge crater behind him, and said despairingly, "At this rate, we'll be smashed to pieces sooner or later!"

Although Josh and Donald, who were not far away, were not the target of the wall's attack, the wall, which could easily smash people into mincemeat, still made them feel a chill.

"James, his weakness is the back of his head; that helmet won't stop your steel claws!"

Donald stared at the large head and spoke up to remind him.

This big guy inherited the abilities of the Juggernaut, but he was not a perfect test subject. The back of his head was his weak point, and that area had very weak self-healing ability.

The reason he wore such a thick helmet was to protect the vulnerable area on the back of his head from injury.

However, while the helmet's defense could withstand any armor-piercing bullet, it couldn't stop the adamantium claws!

"Steel claws? What steel claws?"

Samuel and Josh couldn't help but exchange a glance, both completely bewildered, not understanding what Donald was talking about.

Logan, however, stood still, somewhat hesitant.

If Wolverine's identity is exposed here, it's one thing if Samuel and Josh find out, but if Hydra finds out, it will be a much bigger problem!

"hurry up!"

Donald suddenly shouted, "Hydra's reinforcements are arriving soon! Then none of us will be able to escape!"

"roar!!!"

As Logan hesitated, the big guy pounded his chest and roared again. He seemed to have figured out who the strongest among them was, and charged at Logan with his iron fist raised.

As the massive figure hurtled towards him like a truck, Logan gritted his teeth, his expression grim, his fists clenched, and took a long, deep breath.

Clang!

The steel claws shot out instantly.

The fully extended silver-white steel claws, illuminated by the afterglow of the setting sun, continuously radiated a dazzling sharpness.

"James...is he Wolverine?"

Samuel stared blankly at Logan's golden silhouette reflected in the setting sun, his eyes fixed on the steel claws beneath his fists. He recalled the blueprint from earlier, and his expression instantly froze.
