Chapter 1555
Settling the Fleet!
Chapter 1555 Settling the Fleet!
Frontier Flotilla's main island, the Presidential Palace.
Howard Glass stood by the window, watching the sky gradually darken, lost in thought.
He had read the battle plan that He Ming had sent over, but he didn't even have the chance to question it. He could only watch as the Kongo and the MACROSS Quarter left the fleet alone and headed to the planet that was said to be the home planet of Vajra in search of the Galaxy fleet.
This action caused Howard Glass some concern.
"President."
While he was pondering, Leon Mishima, with a serious expression, knocked on the door.
"Mishima? What's the matter?"
Since Ying Heming requested that Leon Mishima be put in charge of purging the spies and corrupt elements within the fleet, this capable aide has transformed into an aloof and unapproachable man.
Although somewhat unexpected, it made Howard Glass increasingly adept at handling the situation.
After all, as the president of the fleet, he did not want his aide to be a popular figure.
"Yes! The MACROSS Quarter just sent back a message via SMS. The Galaxy Flotilla has been located, and its Battle-Galaxy was destroyed in the ensuing battle. General He is currently negotiating with the Queen of Vajra."
As Leon Mishima spoke, a hint of horror flashed across his eyes.
In his view, both the operation against the Galaxy fleet and the negotiations with the intelligence-poor Vajra were extremely difficult, and the slightest mistake could lead to utter ruin.
But He Ming accomplished such a difficult task in such a short time.
Negotiate?
Howard Glass frowned slightly, as if he had already sensed something.
"Mishima, did the message mention anything else?"
"Yes! According to Captain Jeffrey Wilder's reply, General He seems to have obtained Queen Vajra's permission to temporarily land our fleet in a designated area of Vajra's homeworld for temporary rest and repairs, as well as resupplying the main island and its surrounding islands."
"what?!"
Upon hearing this news, Howard Glass's eyes widened suddenly.
Then, he pulled up a chair, sat down, took a deep breath, and gradually revealed a relieved smile.
"He truly deserves to be called the most legendary figure among the generals of the new Earth Unification. I never raised any difficulties with General He regarding the fleet, yet he resolved the current difficulties the fleet was facing in the blink of an eye."
Hearing Howard Glass's exclamation, Leon Mishima lowered his head slightly, inwardly echoing the same sentiment.
Fortunately, he was only reprimanded by He Ming under the pretext of purging spies and parasites.
If he were to collude with those people from the Galaxy fleet, he would likely face an irrecoverable and catastrophic situation.
"Mishima. Inquire with General He again. After confirming the information, notify the fleet to change course and head towards the Vajra home planet. The matter of returning to Earth will be put on hold for now."
Howard Glass made a quick decision.
If He Ming hadn't reached an agreement with Queen Vajra at this time, allowing the fleet to land on Vajra's home planet, the fleet would probably have had to grit its teeth and head towards the unknown Earth-Moon Circle.
"Yes, Mr. President."
Howard Glass breathed a sigh of relief as Leon Mishima turned to leave.
"Hopefully, our fleet can hold out until the end in this unknown world."
Vajra's home planet.
The empress, who had reached an agreement with He Ming and others, fell into a deep sleep once again.
Originally, according to the Empress's wishes, this awakening should have occurred a hundred years later, not now. The forced awakening by the collective consciousness of the Galaxy Fleet caused the Empress's power to briefly spiral out of control. In order to quell this uncontrolled power as quickly as possible, the Empress had no choice but to enter a brief period of slumber.
This situation surprised He Ming.
In the original timeline, after Queen Vajra broke free from the control of the Galaxy fleet during the final battle, she did not lose control of her power. Instead, she began to use Vajra songs to call upon races from other star systems.
"Don't worry! This loss of control is just the aftermath of when that planet was forcibly dragged into this universe by those people in some way. I was originally in a dormant state and can withstand these aftermaths."
"But those people not only dragged this planet into this universe, they also coveted my power and forcibly awakened me."
Hearing the Queen's explanation, He Ming understood why the Queen had entered a short slumber.
"I'm entrusting this little guy to you while I'm asleep."
When the Queen fell into a deep sleep again, she entrusted the egg that Xiaoya and Xiaoying had found to He Ming and Lin Mingmei.
"I had originally placed her in a rather secluded spot, but in the end, these two little ones still managed to find her. I guess that's fate!"
As the Queen's voice faded into the distance, her enormous body once again sank into the ring that encircled the planet.
Then, tiny, emerald-green creatures with crystals on their foreheads crawled out from all directions, surrounding He Ming, Lin Mingmei, and Jin Gang.
Looking at these adorable little creatures that occasionally tilted their heads and looked at them, Xiaoya and Xiaoying exchanged glances and then cheered as they rushed over.
As soon as they saw Xiaoya and Xiaoying rushing over, these tiny creatures immediately retreated a distance, or jumped to a high place and tilted their heads to look at Xiaoya and Xiaoying.
"Ugh... Don't run away!"
Xiaoya winked at Xiaoying, who blinked slightly.
The next second, two flying little guys, one on the left and one on the right, set up a trap for a certain little cutie.
In an instant, the entire passageway became lively.
Xiaoya and Xiaoying's shouting and chattering, along with the chirping of these tiny green creatures.
"Those little guys are..."
Lin Mingmei blinked and raised the egg she was holding in her arms slightly higher.
"Maybe!"
He Ming nodded, glanced at Elise who was standing obediently beside him, and then smiled.
"These are Vajra larvae. Isn't that surprising?"
A hint of surprise appeared on Lin Mingmei's pretty face.
"this···"
Lin Minmei had seen a red Vajra individual.
She simply couldn't imagine that the little ones who were chasing and playing with Xiaoya and Xiaoying would grow up to be such ferocious creatures.
“Red individuals are not the limit for these little guys. In fact, there are quite a few individuals in the Vajra population. You will have the opportunity to see them in the future.”
Led by the Vajra larvae that subsequently appeared around He Ming and his group, they quickly left the core area where the Queen was located and arrived at a sunny area with lush vegetation, a smooth lake that reflected the sky.
Looking up at the bright sunshine, He Ming smiled slightly.
"Let the fleet rest here for now!"
