Chapter 1619

The Regent's Decision!

Chapter 1619 The Regent's Decision!

Elise walked into the lookout tower, looked at the two people sitting on the side drinking tea and chatting, and spoke.

“Father. A message came from the offspring attached to Qubeley. It seems there’s some infighting within Axis. The hangar where Qubeley is located has been taken over by the opposition.”

"Oh?"

He Ming put down his teacup, a hint of surprise in his eyes.

"This Harman Kahn is no ordinary person!"

Rebil held the teacup for a moment, then slowly placed it back on the table and looked at He Ming.

"What are you going to do, He Ming?"

"Nothing much. Let's continue to observe. This is just an internal affair of Axis. We're just outsiders."

He Ming smiled slightly, not caring.

If it weren't for the FLOD warp glow flashing around him, which made Rebil squint slightly, he probably would have believed He Ming's story.

"General Rebil, that's the truth."

Seeing the doubt in Rebil's eyes, He Ming laughed and said sincerely.

"Whoever gains control of Axis, to me they are merely targets to prevent it from entering the lunar sphere."

"What if Haman Kahn is killed by the opposition, General He? I think you should admire Haman Kahn."

Rebil looked at He Ming meaningfully.

As an elder who has lived a long life and teetered between life and death several times, Rebil's insight can be described as quite sharp.

"No. I was just lamenting the fleeting nature of beauty. General Rebil, please watch your words and actions."

He Ming coughed and looked outside the door.

"Hehe! That's a matter of opinion."

Rebil naturally knew what He Ming was wary of, but he didn't point it out. Instead, he asked again.

"You seem quite confident that Harman Kahn can quell this rebellion?"

"No. It's just that something seems amiss. General Rebil. From the time Haman Kahn left here and returned to Axis, it's only been about ten hours. In such a short time, do you think you can successfully launch a rebellion?"

He Ming asked in return.

Rebil pondered for a moment, then nodded.

“Indeed. This is a difficult hurdle. And it’s likely that Harman Kahn himself is behind this.”

Rebil sighed.

"Haman Kahn is indeed no ordinary man."

He Ming stood up and left his seat, but was stopped by Rebil.

"General He, didn't you say you wanted to wait and see?"

He Ming turned around and smiled.

"Yes. We're watching. But it seems there are outsiders stirring up trouble in this rebellion."

"outsider?"

Rebil paused for a moment, then shook his head.

"I'm getting old after all. You young people are really good at getting things done."

"So, General Rebil, are you interested in going to the front lines yourself?"

Upon hearing He Ming's invitation, Rebil's expression shifted, seemingly tempted, but he still shook his head.

"No. I'll stay here and watch. I think you don't want those outsiders to ruin Axis either."

Reibill's judgment was indeed very sharp.

It was immediately clear that He Ming was looking for a way to lure out the troublemaker.

“Then, I must take my leave!” Meanwhile, inside Axis, in front of the palace where Minerva Zabi resided.

The rebels led by Grémy Toto and Rakan Bakala have completely surrounded the palace.

Haman Kahn stood alone in front of the palace gate, watching the soldiers with the black emblem of the Principality of Zeon strapped to their shoulders move back and forth, taking up all the advantageous positions.

“Haman Kahn. It’s time to relinquish the power you’ve seized and let the Zabi’s flag fly over Axis once more.”

Accompanied by Magani, Gremi Toto walked up to the soldiers and addressed Haman Kahn.

"Gremy Toto. It really was you."

Harman Kahn glanced at Gremi Toto, then looked at Magani.

“Dr. Magani. You bewitched Gremi Toto.”

"No. Haman Kahn. I did not mislead Lord Gremy. I merely told Lord Gremy the truth!"

Magani shouted boldly.

"The only remaining bloodline of the great Lord Gihren Zabi, whom we revere and follow, is Lord Gremy Toto. In this age when the blood of Zabi is so dormant, we should raise the banner of Zabi and dedicate our strength to rekindling the glory of Zeon!!"

Upon hearing Magani openly reveal Gremi Toto's "background" in front of the palace, all the Zeon soldiers involved in the rebellion were immediately excited.

"Lord Gihren's only bloodline?!"

"It's Gremi Toto?!"

Amidst gasps of surprise and disbelief, Harman Kahn stared coldly at Magani.

"I never expected that Dr. Magani, who is so dedicated to the study of the new human species, would have such a silver tongue. It's quite surprising."

"Haman Kahn!"

The massive MS Drayson stood before the palace, launching an attack on Haman Kahn with its overwhelming visual pressure.

"Surrender! Haman Kahn!! Zabi's only bloodline has appeared! The power you plundered, and Axis, have been returned to their rightful owner!"

The voice coming from Dresen made Harman Kahn's gaze flicker slightly.

“Rakan Bakala? I never thought that you, who saved me from the Earth Federation Forces back then (from: Portrait of the young comet of CDA), would stand against me and become my enemy.”

“Things are different now. Haman Kahn. Axis, no, all soldiers who obey the will of Zeon have gathered under the banner of Zabi. The Zabi you are protecting is just a weak little girl, completely incapable of bearing such a heavy and glorious mission!”

Rakan Bakala's voice surged toward Haman Kahn like rolling thunder, seemingly trying to crush him.

But Harman Kahn suddenly burst into laughter.

"Hahahaha!! That's well said! But don't you find it ridiculous? Why didn't your so-called Son of Zabi stand up when we were driven from Earth to Jupiter by the Earth Federation (UC) like stray dogs, living in fear and trembling? Why didn't he guide us, who had experienced defeat, confusion, and numbness, to cheer up again?!"

Harman Kahn's voice grew louder and sharper.

"Who! Who brought Axis back from the brink of collapse? Was it the son of Zabi that you, Lakan Bakara, claim? Or was it Geremi Toto, the son of Kirian Zabi that you, Magani, fabricated based on your biased account?!"

Lakan Bakara's expression changed, and he realized something was wrong.

Magani looked horrified and was about to retort when Gremi Toto stopped him.

Harman Kahn saw Gremi Toto gesturing to Magani, but she only glanced at him coldly and continued to vent her thoughts through shouting.

"What truly lifted Axis from the shadow of defeat was not the so-called son of Zabi! Not anyone! It was my father, Maharaja Kahn!! It was he who burned his own life to show us a path when Axis was shrouded in the shadow of defeat, allowing us, allowing this Axis to rise again in this empty and boundless universe!"

"And now, on the eve of Axis's entry into the lunar sphere, you, you, and you all deceive the soldiers and the people with the lie of being the son of Zabi, attempting to seize Axis, all for your laughable and despicable ambitions!!!"

A surge of anger ignited in Haman Kahn's brow as she glared sharply at the rebels who had completely surrounded the palace.

"I will not allow it!! I, Haman Kahn, will not allow this to happen! Axis belongs to Zeon! It will never, and must never, become a tool for some people to achieve their ambitions!!!"

Haman Kahn raised his arm and stared at the somewhat shaken Zeon soldiers around him.

"Soldiers of Zeon! Open your eyes wide! See who is the true son of Zabi! Who is the one who brought Axis back to Earth!!"

"In the name of Zabi, in the name of Kahn!! I, Haman Kahn, command you to purge all rebels who have raised the banner of rebellion!!"
