Chapter 1932

: The Plan!

Chapter 1932: The Plan!

Upon careful recollection of Neo Zeon's and Death Vanguard's plans, it becomes clear that while their methods differed, their objectives shared some similarities.

However, the Neo Zeon commander-in-chief was probably unaware of the true plans of the Iron Face.

However, even if Char Aznable of Neo Zeon knew, he probably wouldn't care. He might even try to use Ironface to act as a vanguard and pave the way for him.

This is not just speculation about who is on the list, but a well-founded conjecture.

Throughout Char Aznable's life in the original timeline, he was almost always caught in a cycle of scheming and being schemed against.

Even in the final moments of his life, his duel with his nemesis Amuro was filled with scheming and deception.

Such a man, upon witnessing Char Aznable, who has taken a different path from himself and is accompanied by Lala, must have harbored many calculations in his heart.

“General Rebil, perhaps we can deploy surveillance systems in the Earth-Moon sphere to include all known and subsequently discovered extraterrestrial objects, such as asteroids and other wandering cosmic targets, on a watch list.”

"Colonel Ming, do you mean that Neo Zeon and the Death Vanguard will use these wandering space targets as bases, or as weapons to be launched at Earth?"

Rebil immediately understood what Heming meant.

"Well, also, the Death Vanguard seems to be brewing a conspiracy. In my opinion, this conspiracy may complement Neo Zeon's plans to some extent."

He Ming did not make any definitive statements.

After all, Iron Face's real goal is to use automated killing drones called "Machine Bugs" to wipe out humanity on Earth.

This is probably still quite surprising news for Reibir, who has already embraced many new things.

Let's wait until the time is right before informing Rebil of this information!

Right now, getting Rebil on high alert is the top priority.

"We have been working on this all along. Especially after we took control of the Angel Wheel, we noticed the lack of monitoring of the Earth Federation Forces around the Earth-Moon Sphere. However, such a vast space cannot be fully monitored in a short period of time."

Rebil knew the importance of this, but sometimes, even he felt powerless to do so.

"Focus on monitoring the space regions that must be passed through to reach Earth. Whether it's Neo Zeon or Death Vanguard, once they launch an offensive, it won't be a stealthy operation."

He Ming finished speaking and let out a long sigh.

"General Reibir, the mission of the lunar fleet will probably be more demanding. Although the Federation forces here are in a more distant future than we are, their interactions these past few days have been quite disappointing."

"Yes, I plan to disperse the Federation forces here after the border satellite colony reaches the L1 space between Earth and the Moon, and reorganize them with the elite forces of the lunar fleet. This way, we may be able to change the style of the lower and middle-ranking Federation officers and stabilize the morale of the rank-and-file soldiers in a short period of time."

Rebil spoke of his plans as he slowly walked to the window, looking out at the seemingly vast but actually cramped interior of the colony.

"This is a colony satellite from the future. Colonel Ming, before this colony satellite arrived here from the future, we old guys were still hoping that tomorrow would be better."

"Unexpectedly, after losing us old folks, tomorrow will be even worse."

The walls of the cell, which was less than a few square meters in size, were covered with layers of soft padding. Even the short single bed had its sharp edges smoothed out and was covered with layers of anti-collision rubber, depriving the man in the cell of all means of committing suicide.

Looking at the plate on the ground, which didn't even have a spoon and had to be picked up with one's hands, Theo Fairchild fell into endless silence.

He understood the circumstances he was in at that moment.

I also understand why he has fallen to such a state.
But he didn't understand why the masked colonel could see through his identity so quickly and prevent him from having any contact with Cecily.

Even though he had shouted and yelled for several days in a row when he was brought here, trying to attract the attention of the guards and get them to pass on a message to He Ming, trying to gain their approval with some information, or using psychological tactics to get a chance to meet Cecily, he had not succeeded.

Staying here, time seems to stand still.

Apart from the daily meals, the only time Theo Fairchild could hear about the latest developments from the soldiers delivering the meals was when they did so.

The complete withdrawal of Death Vanguard from the space sector where Border IV was located, along with the launch of the Border Colony constellation, filled Theo Fairchild with increasing dread.

Because having this information is like having eyes that see through all of Death Vanguard's actions, they have laid a net that he cannot escape, waiting for this big fish who wants to rely on Cecily to return to the Rona family's command to walk right into the trap.

"Theo Fairchild. Get ready. Someone wants to see you!"

The more he thought about it, the more frightened Theo Fairchild became. He quickly responded, then tidied his white prison uniform, which he changed every day, and stood in the designated spot as instructed, waiting to be led to the meeting room.

Half an hour later, the moment he stepped into the meeting room, his eyes lit up, and he couldn't help but take a step forward, only to be stopped by the soldiers on either side of him.

"quiet!"

The soldiers exchanged glances, each placing a hand on Theo Fairchild's shoulder and leading him to a seat in a glass-separated meeting room.

"Cecily!! Cecily!! Haven't you found a way to get out of here yet?"

No sooner had he sat down than Theo Fairchild hurriedly urged Cecily, who was sitting opposite him, to leave.

Cecily frowned at the way he seemed completely unconcerned about his current situation, only concerned with whether he had left the colony and returned home.

"Father, you've been locked up here for so many days. Is this all you want to say to me now that we've just met?"

"What are you saying? This is the most important thing! Cecily, you shouldn't stay here, you should go back..."

"enough!"

Before Theo Fairchild could finish speaking, Cecily slammed her hand on the table, interrupting her adoptive father, and stood up coldly.

“Originally, I had some expectations for you. But now it seems that the reason those people attacked this place, besides wanting to take over, was probably also because of you! Right, Theo Fairchild?”

After speaking, Cecily glanced at Theo Fairchild, then turned and left the meeting room without hesitation.

“Cecily!! Cecily!! Bella!! Bella Rona!! You shouldn’t be here!!”

"boom!"

The heavy slam of the door startled Theo Fairchild, who immediately shut his mouth, but Cecily was not about to turn around.

Outside the door, Cecily approached He Ming, who was waiting in the corridor.

"Colonel Ming, why are you helping me?"

"I just wanted to help this lost girl see the true face of the Rona family! Bella Rona, that's your name, isn't it? And your mother, Nadia Rona, is over at Border Colony Satellite One. Would you like to meet her?"

He Ming's words silenced Cecily.

As a stranger, and possibly even the offspring of the mastermind behind the previous battle, Cecily did not believe this would be a free favor.

"What will it cost me?"

"There might be a price to pay! But make a decision after you meet with your mother!"

He Ming smiled and added.

"Of course. The so-called price will not pose any threat to your personal safety. It just requires you to stand up and make a statement as Bella Rona."

Cecily's expression shifted a few times before she finally nodded slowly.

"The so-called Vanguard of Death is probably established by the Rona family, or even by that man himself, right? Alright! I agree. Colonel Ming."
