Chapter 1920
Curator Roy's Treasure Trove!
Chapter 1920 Curator Roy's Treasure Trove!
If we were to name the person most likely to see through He Ming and CC's origins within the entire Frontier 4, it would probably be none other than the old man known as "General Roy," a weapons fanatic who collects all sorts of weapons from the Universal Century.
In a fleeting glimpse of the Banshee Gundam landing, he was startled to realize that it bore a striking resemblance to a black mobile suit being dismantled in a photograph he had long considered "unreliable" and merely something to read for entertainment.
When Director Roy obtained this photo, he mobilized his connections and resources to find out the truth behind it and discover the origin of the black mobile suit being dismantled.
But in the end, it was all in vain.
No matter how hard Director Roy searched, he couldn't find any information related to the photo. At one point, he had just arrived at Border Four and started a weapons museum when he suddenly received a warning.
Over time, he gave up on investigating the truth behind that photo.
Just when he thought this would be the biggest regret of his life, he saw a black MS exactly like the one in the photo appear before his eyes.
Moreover, it landed slowly on the flat ground in front of the weapons museum in a completely different form than in that photo.
At that moment, Curator Roy's heart seemed to return to that of a teenager, innocent yet full of energy. At 60 years old, he ran at a speed almost like a world sprint champion, quickly returning to his office, rummaging through his treasured files, finding the mysterious photograph, and then rushing out of the weapons museum to find He Ming.
Unexpectedly, before they could even exchange a few words, the sight of CC's Zeta Gundam Unit 4 slowly landing next to the Banshee Gundam caused the old man, who was obsessed with weapons and equipment, to clutch his chest on the spot. His trembling fingers pointed at the Zeta Gundam Unit 4 and the Banshee Gundam, and he couldn't catch his breath, fainting on the spot. Lieutenant Berg, who was standing next to He Ming, was so frightened that he quickly called for help to provide first aid.
CC stepped out of the cockpit, removing his helmet as he looked at the flustered crowd with a puzzled expression.
"What happened? Was that old man causing you trouble?"
"No. It's just that I couldn't control my excitement when I saw a treasure buried deep in the river of history suddenly appear in front of me."
He Ming chuckled lightly.
Compared to the flustered crowd, He Ming's spiritual senses had already revealed that the old man had simply fainted due to a moment of excitement.
After the military doctor arrived and diagnosed and treated him, the overly excited old man slowly woke up.
"I, I'm..."
Just as he opened his eyes, before he could even process what was happening, Director Roy suddenly glared and sat up abruptly, startling the military doctor beside him who quickly reached out to support him.
"Director Roy, be careful! You need to lie down and rest now, don't get agitated!"
"Kid! I'm perfectly healthy right now!!"
Upon hearing this, Curator Roy was immediately displeased.
He threw off the covers, walked barefoot out of the room, opened the corridor window, and stared with shining eyes at the Banshee Gundam and the Zeta Gundam Unit 4 standing side by side in the open space.
"That's a ZETA Gundam!! It's the ace mobile suit of the Valley! It's Kamille Bidan's personal mobile suit! And what's that black mobile suit next to it?"
"That's Banshee Gundam. Old man, this is yours, isn't it?"
Just as Curator Roy was wondering, someone answered his question. He turned around and saw a man wearing a Federation pilot's uniform with a colonel's rank insignia on his collar holding the black MS photo that Roy had collected.
“This is mine. I’ve never seen you here before. Don’t think that just because I’m old you can easily fool me. There’s no one like you among these border colonies who likes to hide their face with a mask.”
As Director Roy reached out and took the photo back, he also declared that He Ming should not try to fool him with those kinds of empty words.
"Of course. Considering our timelines, you're not much older than me. So, I'll just call you Director Roy!"
He Ming smiled and gave a hint.
Judging from the fact that the other party recognized the ZETA Gundam at a glance, and from the photo of the Banshee Gundam, which was once classified as a secret by the Earth Federation and secretly dismantled in the original timeline, Director Roy probably already had some guesses.
"Your time and mine? Hah. Kid. Don't try to fool this old man with lines from those deceptive movies."
Director Roy snorted coldly, but the glint in his eyes was not as firm as his words.
“I didn’t mean to play tricks on you, Curator Roy. I believe you are aware of the space environment in which the colony beneath your feet is currently located, aren’t you?”
He Ming's casual remark left Curator Roy speechless on the spot.
Don't be fooled by the fact that Roy Jung's weapons museum contains old, outdated weapons and equipment. The sheer number of these items housed within the colony is something most people simply couldn't do.
Roy Jung, who had considerable connections, learned some earth-shattering news from Federation officers not long ago (around the time the Border Colony Cluster was caught in the dimensional quake): the Border Colony Cluster had been caught in a cosmic storm of unknown origin and lost contact with the Earth Federation.
And then, we arrived at the current situation.
Are you from around here?
Curator Roy suppressed his excitement, calmed himself down, and asked in a deep voice.
"What time is it now? Or are you really the Earth Federation Forces? And what's with those remnants of colonies outside that keep discharging electricity...? Or rather, what year of the UC era is this?"
Such a statement undoubtedly marks a crucial moment for both sides to enter into friendly communication.
"It is now UC0087. C.C. and I are from the Earth Federation Forces' special independent unit—Punishment. I am also the commander of this unit, Colonel Ming. And those colony debris outside this Side 4 are the remnants of the colony cluster left behind when Zeon destroyed Side 4 during the One Year War."
Upon hearing He Ming's words, Curator Roy gasped in shock.
"I, we, this, this colony satellite actually traveled through time and went back to the past?"
Director Roy glanced at the photo in his hand subconsciously, then shook his head with a wry smile.
"No wonder I couldn't find any information about this photo no matter how I investigated. It turns out that this black mobile suit has long been buried in the annals of history and its whereabouts are unknown."
