Chapter 1592
The Overbearing Emperor
Chapter 1592 The Overbearing Emperor
Super-Earth, North America, Holy Britannian Empire, Imperial Capital.
Having successfully boosted morale and brought the Imperial Army to its peak, Emperor Charles DI Britannia returned to the palace and received the long-awaited Second Prince of the Empire, Schneizel EL Britannia.
"That was an inspiring speech, and it strengthened the resolve of the Imperial soldiers to fight for the Empire! Your Majesty."
Schneizel knelt below and said respectfully.
Standing on the throne, looking down at his second son, who was also the most outstanding of all his sons, the emperor slightly raised his eyes and casually said.
"Schneizel, tell me your thoughts."
“Your Majesty, I have no particular intentions. As long as Your Majesty gives the order, I will do everything in my power to complete the task assigned to me by Your Majesty.”
Charles snorted coldly, turned around and sat down on the throne, his gaze sharp as he looked at his second son.
Schneizel EL Britannia was the most resourceful of his many children.
On the eve of his Emperor's decision to declare war on the world, the second prince of the empire had privately expressed his incomprehension and even resistance.
However, when it came to face-to-face conversation, he adopted an attitude of giving whatever he wanted, leaving the decision entirely to His Majesty the Emperor.
Without desires or wants?
Charles sneered inwardly.
No one in this world can remain unmoved by the temptations of the world.
If such a thing exists, it's simply that the opportunity hasn't yet arisen to transform someone from a saintly, desireless being into a demon capable of seizing and devouring everything in an instant!
"Schneizel, you've been getting closer to the Earth Federation lately. Stand up and tell us your thoughts."
Charles asked again.
"Yes! Thank you, Your Majesty."
Schneizel stood up and said with his head slightly bowed.
"After confirming that our world had been integrated into this super-Earth, I made contact with the Earth Federation as a friendly envoy of the Empire, and also learned about the war that the Earth Federation had experienced several years ago."
Schneizel's brow furrowed with a perfectly timed hesitation, which was noticed by the high and mighty Charles.
"Are they remnants of the Zeon forces?"
Charles seemed to be in a good mood and played a little question-and-answer game with the second prince of the empire.
"Yes. If Your Majesty wishes to conquer the universe, then we must keep the Earth Federation's space fleet busy and unable to assemble a large enough space fleet to pose a significant threat to our Imperial Army. In this way, even if our Imperial Army cannot possess a large enough space fleet in a short period of time, we can still ensure that no Earth Federation space warships appear in the skies above our Empire."
"So, you're trying to win over the remnants of Zeon?"
Charles's gaze was always intimidating, but Schneizel remained calm and answered His Majesty's questions methodically.
"Yes, Your Majesty. Although our Imperial Army's KMF is excellent, the way the Earth Federation and the remnants of Zeon use their mobile suits in terms of energy usage and output has exceeded the expectations of our technicians."
"A thermonuclear engine that can operate indefinitely as long as it is not destroyed, and a KMF that requires Sakura Stone as an energy source to operate?"
Clearly, Charles knew everything Schneizel had done.
“Interesting. Go for it, Schneizel. This is your task, and also your reward. But, on the condition that there is no room for failure!”
"Yes, Your Majesty! All glory belongs to Britannia!"
As the doors closed, leaving Charles alone in the audience, His Majesty the Emperor slowly rose and turned his gaze to one side.
“Mr. W. I have shown you my sincerity. Now, it’s your turn.”
The man with the mask and twisted horns raised his hand to his chest and bowed to Charles.
“We are aware of Your Majesty’s sincerity. So, our sincerity is here.”
Mr. W straightened up, pointed to the side, and a cart slowly appeared, eventually stopping in front of the steps below the throne.
Charles's gaze flickered slightly the moment it fell on the stroller.
What came into his view was a mysterious device, square in shape and resembling a box. "This is a transcoder! I believe it can answer some of Your Majesty's questions and help you realize your grand ideals as soon as possible!"
"Hmph! Lofty ideals, huh? Mr. W. I didn't expect you Ghost Faces to be such eloquent fellows."
Charles strode down the steps and stood in front of the cart, while Mr. W took a half step back, deliberately creating distance between himself and Charles to express his respect for him.
Just as Charles had said, the Ghost Faces were indeed a group of eloquent and persuasive individuals.
"One month from now, Holy Britannia will launch an attack on the surrounding countries."
Charles turned his gaze away from the mysterious device and reiterated his promise.
"It was a pleasure working with you, Your Majesty! I hope we will have another opportunity to cooperate."
"I'm looking forward to it."
One month later, the glorious moment of war will arrive!
"One month..."
On Jupiter's orbit, He Ming fell into deep thought.
Why did Charles declare a full-scale war against neighboring countries a month later?
This is not a one-on-one war, but a crazy declaration of war between me alone and the whole world!
Without a doubt, given the original strength of the Holy Britannian Empire, it would have been difficult to achieve this level of capability.
Even so, the Holy Britannian Empire itself was not weak.
Therefore, the mastermind behind the scenes who influenced Charles and made him make such a crazy decision is about to be revealed.
"A mirror image?"
Given the current state of Holy Britannia, it will inevitably fulfill the extreme ideals of the Shadow Mirror in a month.
"Admiral. One month from now, the Earth-Moon Circle..."
After reading the intelligence, King Kong thought for a moment and finally spoke.
"Yes, you guessed right. The Earth-Moon sphere is going to descend into chaos. And it will become an intractable mess, far more terrifying than the previous chaotic situation where a breakthrough could always be found."
He Ming frowned and continued speaking.
“I fear that a month from now, the war will not only be waged by the Holy Britannian Empire, but also by other forces that we have not yet discovered.”
He Ming casually waved his hand in front of him, and a flag that had once caused the Earth Federation to pay a heavy price appeared before his eyes.
"Jiong".
King Kong softly uttered the name of the flag.
"Hmm. But now it should be the remnants of Zeon. If I were, no, if there were capable people in Britannia, perhaps I would contact those Zeon remnants, pay some price, and have them launch an attack a month later, or even earlier, to tie down the Earth Federation Forces' space fleet."
"In this way, the Britannian Empire will not face too much pressure from the Earth Federation when it attacks neighboring countries and forces."
He Ming touched his chin, a hint of seriousness in his eyes.
"After all, the Earth Federation Forces are insignificant now. What we need to pay attention to is the Titans, who were born within the Earth Federation Forces and advocate the idea of 'Earth supremacy'."
As soon as He Ming finished speaking, a flash of inspiration struck him.
"Oh, right. There's also the Valley of the Abyss, and Axis, which is heading back towards the Earth-Moon Circle."
After a while, He Ming gave a bitter laugh.
"The chaos on Super-Earth is really about to explode."
