Chapter 1918

Advancement of the Front!

Chapter 1918 Advancement of the Front!

"Is the battle over?"

After witnessing Banshee Gundam leading the Earth Federation's mobile suit forces in ambushes to eliminate the enemy mobile suit forces entrenched on both sides of the bridge, Seabook, Cecily, and their group gradually realized that the battle seemed to be getting further and further away from them.

"No. That Federation MS unit seems to be clearing out the surrounding enemies. The battle probably won't end anytime soon. Let's head to the shelter!"

Just then, as Seabook drove through the intersection, he saw his friend Dwight Camry grappling with someone on a truck full of people.

Without hesitation, Seabook pulled the vehicle over and told Arthur and Sam to get ready to take over.

After much trouble, Dwight finally managed to reunite with Seabook and the others. He apologized to Dorothy, whom he had bumped into, and was then called over by Seabook.

"Dwight, did you see that black mobile suit? Do you know its origins?"

Seabook's question startled Dwight for a moment, then he shook his head with a wry smile.

“Sibock. You overestimate me. I was with you when the attack happened.”

"How could that be! Dwight, you're the deputy commander's son! While we're not asking you to reveal any military secrets, that black mobile suit was the hero who saved the entire battle line!"

Sam and Arthur exchanged a glance and then recounted what they had just witnessed on the bridge.

Dwight was completely bewildered.

"Wait a minute? I know all the pilots here at Border Four. But there are never any black mobile suits here!!"

"Alright, Seabook. Looks like you'll be disappointed. Dwight doesn't recognize that black MS."

Sam looked him up and down, shook his head, and sighed.

"Hahaha! It's nothing. I was just curious. After all, you all saw it. The atmosphere on the battlefield changed the moment that black MS appeared."

Sibook raised his eyes and looked into the distance, only to see blurry shadows fighting the enemy in mid-air.

"If that black mobile suit can hold on, this colony will soon return to peace."

Upon hearing this, everyone exchanged glances and then fell silent as well.

The attack came too suddenly.

No one was prepared for this.

In the rush to escape, all that people could take with them were clothes and personal belongings, and some even got separated from their families.

If the battle really ends this quickly, maybe it was just a false alarm!

"At the intersection ahead... never mind. We can't go any further over there. Let's get off!"

"it is good!"

Dwight carefully examined the layout of the surrounding streets and finally located the shelter he remembered.

Under his guidance, the group quickly crossed the battle-ravaged streets, only to find that the area ahead was already guarded by heavily armed federal soldiers.

"Stop! This is the frontline command post! Citizens, please seek refuge elsewhere!"

As soon as the leading federal soldier saw Dwight running over with Seabook, Cecily, and the others, he immediately raised his hand to signal them to stop.

"What?! Command post?! What do we do, Dwight?"

Among everyone, Dwight was probably the only one who could have a voice in front of the Federation Army.

"Don't worry! I think I recognize this person."

Dwight wasn't entirely sure himself, so he could only reassure his friends and try to negotiate. "Hello! I'm Dwight Cameron. Excuse me, is my father, Vice Commander Cameron, here...?"

After some negotiation, Dwight watched the soldier turn and walk into the checkpoint, report the situation to the command post, and then slowly breathed a sigh of relief.

Regardless, all he can do now is wait.

Meanwhile, Lieutenant Berg speaks with Roy Jung, who runs a war museum on this street.

However, next to the two, the R-44 steel tank, which Roy Jung had acquired and modified for his own personal interest, sat quietly.

“Director Roy, there’s no need for you to bring that old relic out into battle right now! We’re sufficient here. In addition, we are very grateful to Director Roy for providing us with the space to set up our forward command post.”

Lieutenant Berg thanked the old man, known as "General Roy the Weapon Maniac," who was fond of collecting all kinds of weapons and equipment, with neither humility nor arrogance.

"What are you talking about? The R-44 is no old relic! You bunch of bastards managed to let the enemy drive us into this place, what are you trying to prove? If it were just you guys, we'd probably be finished."

Roy Jung ignored what Lieutenant Berg said and immediately declared that he would fly the R-44 into battle.

"Hahaha! Old man, you really don't need to do anything here! If you're bored, why not help us take in the citizens and calm them down, how about that?"

A hearty laugh came from above, and a black mobile suit radiating golden light slowly descended from the sky. At the same time, the floating shields that flew in from all around returned to the black mobile suit one by one, like birds returning to their nests.

"It's Colonel Ming! Colonel Ming is back!"

In an instant, all the Federation soldiers who witnessed the landing of the black MS showed fervent and respectful gazes and shouted out continuously.

What excited the soldiers even more was that after the black MS named Banshee Gundam stabilized, it magically deactivated all its deployed armor and transformed back into the black-armored MS with the golden horn.

"This...this...this..."

Roy Jung's eyes widened instantly!

His breathing became increasingly rapid, and his expression grew increasingly uncertain, doubtful, confused, and even shocked!

"No, no, no, that's not right!! It, it is!!!"

"wrong!!"

General Roy, the weapons fanatic, cried out in surprise and turned and ran back into the museum like the wind, leaving behind his bewildered subordinates and Lieutenant Begg, who blinked and looked equally puzzled.

"Lieutenant Berg, when I returned just now, I saw many civilians on the nearby streets who hadn't been able to get into the shelter. Designate an area and take them in!"

The nameless voice came from behind Lieutenant Berg, prompting the lieutenant to respond loudly in response.

"Yes, Colonel!"

After a pause, Lieutenant Berg looked troubled.

"There is a containment area. However, most of the supplies we have collected so far are weapons, equipment, and ammunition. Drinking water and food can only meet our combat needs for the time being."

"No problem. Let's take in the citizens while we collect drinking water and food from them!"

After giving the instructions, He Ming raised his eyes and looked at the bursts of light that kept flashing between the beams of light that flickered back and forth in the clouds.

"This battle won't last long. We must calm the citizens down as soon as possible."

"Yes, Colonel! I will begin carrying out the order immediately!"

"Go!"
