Chapter 1617
Hammankahn's Determination!
Chapter 1617 Haman Kahn's Determination!
"yield?"
He Ming laughed heartily.
"To be honest, the word 'yield' could be used, but I prefer to call it 'being pragmatic'."
"Knowing when to yield?"
Harman Kahn gave a cold laugh.
"Before and after the One Year War, Zeon never succumbed to the oppression of the Earth Federation (UC)! This was true in the past, and it is true now. So it is true for me, Haman Kahn, and Axis."
Such a resolute attitude made Rebil frown. He moved his lips but did not speak, only looking at He Ming.
He Ming nodded slightly to him, indicating that he should continue watching, and then looked at Harman Kahn.
"I must say your courage is indeed commendable. But it's a great pity that the current Earth-Moon Sphere is not worth your and Axis's return."
"Not worth it? Do you think you can sway me into abandoning my plan to return to Earth based solely on your one-sided words?"
Harman Kahn countered.
"This is not incitement. It is reality. King Kong."
He Ming gestured to King Kong, who then raised his hand and waved it, presenting all the current information about the solar system to Haman Kahn.
"What you are seeing now is not a lie, but the truth that is truly happening in this solar system."
Having said that, He Ming ignored Harman Kahn and instead picked up his teacup with Rebil to discuss the cosmic landscape beyond the observation deck.
Perhaps it was a coincidence.
Perhaps it was intentional.
As the two were talking, on the other side of where Kongo and Axis were, beams of light suddenly burst forth.
That dazzling brilliance
That bright light
It instantly attracted the attention of everyone in Axis's operations command center, as well as Rebil's.
"That is?"
Rebil put down his teacup and asked with a serious expression.
"FLOD jump, or to put it another way, spatial jump."
He Ming said calmly.
Rebil's pupils dilated violently, and his lips trembled, but he was interrupted by He Ming.
"It's no use. We've already tried. The solar system we're in now is isolated by an unknown force. No changes within the solar system can be directly observed from the outside. Only at a specific location and at a specific time can we glimpse some changes in the solar system."
He Ming stared intently at the empty space outside the window.
"In order to return to this solar system, my companions and I traveled across vast distances, constantly shuttling between various star systems, before finally finding a sliver of an opportunity to force our way in."
As he spoke, He Ming sighed.
"Moreover, getting in was already so difficult. Getting out is even more impossible. As things stand, we are now unable to contact our partners outside the solar system."
Rebil fell silent.
Since meeting He Ming, Rebil has gradually come to his senses and is facing the truth of this world.
However, the truth is so heavy.
"Until then, we can only rely on our own strength?"
"Yes."
He Ming nodded and glanced at the figure obscured by numerous projection screens displaying various intelligence.
"That's why I try my best to prevent any forces from outside the Earth-Moon Circle from entering it, making the already chaotic Earth-Moon Circle even more uncontrollable."
Rebil nodded vigorously.
“Speak up if necessary! Although the fleet under our control may not be able to do much, having more strength is always good.”
"No. General Rebil, your fleet should remain on the moon to hold the line! We can handle any battlefield outside the Earth-Moon sphere."
He Ming smiled and teased Reibil.
"This is no exaggeration."
Rebil chuckled and shook his head. "Of course I believe it. I doubt there's only one of these warships on board."
"Of course! There are at least two more in this solar system."
"···"
Rebil fell silent, unsure whether what He Ming had said was true or false, and finally shook his head.
"That's enough! Just ask when you need us."
"I will."
During their conversation, Harman Kahn also saw the information provided by King Kong, and her expression was not good.
After several attempts to speak, Harman Kahn ultimately chose to remain silent.
After a long while, she slowly spoke.
"I need to go back and think about it."
"Yes. I hope you make the right choice, Harman Kahn."
As Qubeley took off from the Kongo's runway, the constant surge of jump light around him made Harman Kahn's expression increasingly unpredictable.
"Lord Hamman!"
After the Qubeley stopped at the hangar of Axis, Haman Kahn ignored the people around him and went straight to Mashman Cero.
"I will be spending some time with Her Highness the Princess from now on. I'll leave the rest of the matters to you."
"Yes, Lord Hamman."
Harman Kahn's transformation puzzled many, and even some who witnessed the glorious leaps began to have their own thoughts.
Hamman Khan ignored all of this and left the hangar with a cold expression, heading to the palace where Minerva Zabi was located.
"What exactly happened to Harman Kahn on that warship? Why is he in this state?"
In the shadows unseen by Axis, rumors quietly began to circulate.
"Didn't you see? The glow around Axis is the glow emitted by the Earth Federation (UC)'s new warships. That woman, Harman Kahn, was terrified."
"Scared? Does that mean Harman Kahn has succumbed to the Earth Federation (UC)?"
"Who can say for sure? After all, Harman Kahn went to that spaceship alone. Perhaps something humiliating happened on that ship that Harman Kahn found out?"
"Hehe...you're talking nonsense! Although I haven't been close to that woman, Harman Kahn, I can tell..."
"Tsk! You two, stop talking nonsense! Didn't you see that Harman Kahn has been staying with the princess ever since she came back? Does she want to use the princess as a bargaining chip to submit to those insects from the Earth Federation (UC)?!"
Within hours, rumors were rampant within Axis, and the story of what had happened to Harman Kahn on that spaceship quickly stirred up a storm among the people.
Inside the palace, Harman Kahn sat on the sofa, listening with his eyes closed to the sound of Minerva Zabi practicing the violin under the guidance of her teacher. He then raised his eyelids as if sensing something and looked out the window.
She raised her hand, signaling Minerva Zabi to stop, and looked at the music teacher, who immediately understood, bowed, and left the room.
"Haman, what exactly happened?"
Minerva Zabi put down her violin and looked at the woman who had been by her side ever since she was sent to Axis.
"Yes. There are some things, Your Highness."
Harman Kahn stood up, walked up to Minerva Zabi, and spoke softly.
"There might be some noise later! But Your Highness, please don't worry! Everything will pass!"
Is it noisy?
Minerva Zabi blinked and looked out the window.
“Many people will die, won’t they, Harman?”
Harman Kahn paused for a moment, then shook his head slightly.
"I don't know either, Your Highness. But please believe me!"
"Yes, I believe you, Hamman!"
