Chapter 48 Snape's Secret is Spreading at an Accelerated Pace
As Andy entered Madame Patif's Tea House, the corner of his mouth twitched involuntarily.
The teahouse was cramped and the decorations were all tacky lace. The small round tables in the shop were also very ordinary and had no special features.
Who told me this was a popular dating spot?
Let alone the upscale coffee shops for Muggles, even the milk tea shops on the street seem much better than this place.
However, Hermione seemed very happy.
This was her first time eating at the wizard's little shop.
In Hermione's eyes, this little shop was full of wizarding charm, both romantic and mysterious.
"What would you two like to eat?" Madame Parth approached. She was plump and had a shiny black bun at the back of her head.
"Rose butter cookies, and two cups of fruit tea. Thank you!" Andy said.
"Twenty siscos!" said Madame Padif.
So expensive?
Before Andy could voice his doubts, Madam Patiffe said, "You only ordered twelve siecos. As for the remaining eight siecos—I'm telling you to keep quiet about seeing two first-year wizards sneaking out of Hogwarts."
Your hush money is really low.
Hermione was a little nervous; she really wanted to argue with Lady Patiffe. But the thought that she and Andy had sneaked out made the little witch less confident.
"Madam, don't you think it's a bit of a waste to leave that wall empty?"
Andy smiled and pointed to a wall, saying, "You could build a wishing wall there, for example—people could write down their wishes and then stick them on the wall."
"Good idea."
Madame Patif seemed pleased and generously said, "Your meal is on the house today."
"Thank you, madam."
Andy readily agreed, "Then we'll have two orders of rose butter cookies."
Lady Pastive: "..."
"You're such a clever little wizard," Mrs. Padif chuckled, seemingly in a good mood.
The cookies weren't expensive, and Mrs. Patiffe served Andy three servings, one of which Andy was to take home.
"Happy birthday, Hermione." Andy picked up his fruit tea and clinked it against Hermione's.
"Thanks!"
Hermione took a sip of her fruit tea and asked curiously, "How did you discover that secret passage?"
"It was George and Fred who found it," Andy said.
Hermione looked at Andy with a strange expression. Why do you always push everything onto George and Fred?
Did they offend you?
"It really is them!"
Andy beckoned Hermione closer. "I traded them Professor Snape's secret."
Hermione asked疑惑地问道, "What secret does Professor Snape have?"
"Well... this concerns Professor Snape's reputation, you can't tell anyone," Andy said seriously.
Hermione quickly assured her, "I'll definitely keep it a secret."
"Professor Snape was a Slytherin, and the time when he was in school was the height of Voldemort's power."
Andy lowered his voice and said, "It's said that Snape once tried to recruit a Gryffindor girl into the Death Eaters' ranks, in an attempt to sow discord within Gryffindor."
"what?"
Hermione gasped in surprise, "You're saying Professor Snape is—a Death Eater?"
"I don't think so?"
Andy shrugged. "Dumbledore probably won't let Death Eaters teach at the school!"
"That's true!"
Hermione nodded. "Perhaps Professor Snape eventually reformed. Maybe he was influenced by that Gryffindor girl."
"He's single!" Andy hit the nail on the head.
"Maybe they're not together," Hermione guessed.
"Too!"
Andy scoffed, "What girl would like Snape? Look at his appearance, and look at his hair—I bet Professor Snape washes his hair once a month at most."
"How dare you talk about a professor like that!"
Hermione rolled her eyes at Andy, then said, "I guess it'll be six months."
"That's taking way too long!" Andy exclaimed dramatically.
Time flew by as we chatted and laughed.
Although Hogsmeade has many shops, only Zoko's Magical Joke Shop and Bee Duke's Sweets Shop are suitable for young wizards to play in.
Andy took Hermione to buy a lot of candy and Joko's joke products.
The candies here are all enchanted; eating them produces many amusing reactions. Joko Widodo's joke products are also quite interesting, all little gadgets for playing pranks.
Duke Bee's Candy House.
"Hermione, let's go back, it's almost two o'clock." Andy winked at Hermione.
Hermione quickly understood.
The two found a corner in the Bee Duke's Candy House, and then Andy cast an illusion spell to make them invisible.
Taking advantage of Mr. Froome's inattention, Andy and Hermione quickly slipped into the cellar and returned to Hogwarts through the secret passage.
"Hogsmeade is quite interesting."
Hermione, still eager for more, asked, "Andy, what's your village like?"
"Where are we from?"
Andy thought for a moment and said, "There aren't that many shops in Saint Cachipol Village, but there's a forest nearby where many magical creatures live."
"Speaking of which, if you ever have the chance, could you take me to visit the Muggle world?"
Hermione nodded. "Sure! There are lots of fun places in the Muggle world too. I can take you to an amusement park."
As they spoke, the two arrived at the Transfiguration classroom.
Ravenclaw has a Transfiguration class and a Defense Against the Dark Arts class in the afternoon, and a History of Magic class in the evening.
Apart from the history of magic, these were all courses that Andy liked.
Ravenclaw's Transfiguration class was a group class for all Gryffindors. So when Andy walked into the classroom, he saw Ron winking at him.
"Find a seat first."
Andy said something to Hermione, then walked over to Ron and Harry. "Ron, what's up?"
Ron lowered his voice and said mysteriously, "Andy, do you remember that incident?"
"What?" Andy was taken aback.
Ron mouthed, "It's Malfoy."
Andy: "..."
"You hit him?" Andy asked.
Ron and Harry nodded together. Ron said, "We wanted to ask you to come with us, but you walked too fast and we couldn't find you anywhere."
Andy breathed a sigh of relief, thankful he had run fast enough.
"Uh, nothing serious happened, right?" Andy asked to confirm.
"No!"
Harry shook his head. "We just wanted to teach him a lesson, we didn't mean to beat him too badly."
"So you're looking for me...?" Andy frowned.
Ron said excitedly, "We just wanted to let you know; this is a plan the three of us have been working on together!"
Thank you so much.
"This is the work of both of you."
Andy sighed, then waved his hand, "I'm leaving!"
