Chapter 75
Thor: Some people are not even as good as a dog!
Just then.
The automatic doors slide open to both sides.
"Hey! There's beer on this spaceship."
A rough and bold voice broke the deadlock.
Thor strode in, carrying half a dozen chilled beers.
His face had that flushed look of someone who had just been to a party.
"The beer here is a bit weak, but it's passable..."
Thor stopped abruptly as he spoke.
He blinked and looked at Loki, whose face was swollen like a steamed bun.
"Well……"
Thor scratched his head, looking a little confused, and the beer can in his hand made a soft click.
"Did I miss something? Is the party over?"
The entire room fell silent.
Everyone was looking at Thor with the eyes of someone looking at an alien.
"Thor..."
Loki felt a long-lost sense of emotion when he saw his brother, who hadn't turned into a dog.
At least, in this crazy world, there is still one normal person...
"Hahahaha!"
A thunderous burst of laughter shattered Loki's fantasy.
Thor pointed at Loki's bruised and battered face, laughing so hard he almost fell over, spilling a lot of beer in his hand.
"Loki! What happened to you?!"
Thor even stepped forward, showing no pity whatsoever, and instead poked Loki's swollen eye socket as if he were observing a monkey.
"Hiss! Take your filthy hands off me!"
Loki gasped in pain, and the emotion in his eyes vanished instantly.
"Don't be so irritable."
Thor patted Loki on the shoulder without realizing it, so hard that Loki almost knelt down.
"It seems our friends in Midgard are very welcoming. Is this considered a greeting gift?"
"That's called the Iron Fist of Justice," Tony added, casually snatching a can of beer from Thor's hand. "You're welcome."
Loki stared intently at Thor, his teeth grinding together.
This is his older brother.
That idiot who's always missing a screw and always rubbing salt into his wounds!
"By the way, let me introduce you to a new friend."
Thor suddenly remembered something, turned around and whistled at Leon's feet.
The corgi wearing a mini Thor armor at Li Ang's feet, upon hearing the call, trotted over to Thor with its short, light legs.
It held its head high, and its wise dog eyes flashed with a thunderous light.
"Woof!"
Thor squatted down proudly, put his arm around the corgi's neck, pointed at it, and said to Loki.
"Look, this is another Thor."
Loki: "?"
Due to the overwhelming amount of information, the god of trickery's brain crashed for a second.
"Although it looks... well, a bit unusual."
Thor scratched the corgi's chin, and the corgi squinted its eyes comfortably.
As if he had thought of something, a mischievous smile appeared on his face, and he winked at Corgitor.
The man and the dog exchanged a glance, and Corgi Torch revealed the same wicked grin on its face, raising its hand to pick up Thor's hammer.
"See that?" Thor stood up. "Even a dog is worthy to lift Mjolnir."
He turned his head, looked at Loki's pale face, and delivered a soul-piercing blow.
"Little brother, guess who among the Asgardians here can't lift it?"
puff.
Li Ang spat out the tea he had just drunk.
He looked at Thor, who had a kind and honest smile, and then at Loki, who had turned to stone.
"This kid..."
Li Ang wiped his mouth and couldn't help but complain, "Where did they learn this American bullying style? It's so damn authentic."
"you……"
Loki trembled all over, a kind of despair born of a collapsing faith.
Losing to Iron Man is simply a matter of inferior skill.
Losing to Captain America was due to carelessness and underestimating his opponent.
But now, his muscle-bound brother is mocking him, saying he's not even as good as a dog?!
"That's enough!"
Loki roared hysterically, "Lock me up! Now! Immediately! Right now!"
He didn't want to stay in this humiliating place for another second.
This is hell!
This is absolutely hell!
……
Ten minutes later.
Lower deck, containment area.
The circular glass cage hangs in mid-air, connected to the outside world only by a narrow metal walkway.
Loki was locked up.
Hearing the sound of the hydraulic lock shut, he finally gained a long-lost peace.
Director Fury walked onto the pier with a dark expression and stood in front of the control panel.
"This was originally intended for a big guy."
Fury stared coldly at Loki in the cage with his single eye.
"Oh, I know."
Loki paced back and forth in the cage, trying to recapture the elegance of the god of mischief even in his wrinkled suit.
"What? You think this tin can that looks like an anthill can hold me?"
Loki smiled dismissively, though the twitching of his lips hurt a little.
"You bunch of disunited rabble, you'll collapse on your own without me even lifting a finger."
He was trying to sow discord.
This is his specialty trick.
Inside the monitoring room.
Li Ang sat with his legs crossed, a handful of sunflower seeds in his hand, and several screens in front of him showing Loki's trial.
"Tsk tsk tsk, stubborn as a mule."
Li Ang shook his head and turned to look at Peggy Carter, who looked twelve years old but was ninety at heart.
"Little Peggy, wanna make a bet?"
Peggy, holding a hot cocoa, dangled her short legs by the chair. "What are we betting on?"
"I'm betting on how long this so-called absolute defense can hold him back."
Li Ang held up one finger. "I bet this cage will become a joke in no more than two hours."
"The bureau chief has great confidence in this cage."
Peggy took a sip of cocoa, milk stains on her lips. "He said it's polymer glass that can withstand the Hulk's blows."
"Technology is static, but people are dynamic."
Li Ang smiled meaningfully, "In this world, the strongest fortresses are often breached from within."
Just then, Fury pushed open the door and entered.
"He'll tell the truth," Fury scoffed, straightening his collar. "As long as he's in my hands."
"Don't be too confident, Chief Ludan."
Li Ang threw the sunflower seed shells into the trash can.
"The way that guy looks at me now is like he's looking at a bunch of monkeys dancing in the palm of his hand."
"That's because he hasn't seen S.H.I.E.L.D.'s true capabilities yet," Fury said dismissively.
"Really?" Li Ang pointed to the screen. "Look, your right-hand man has gone to get information out of him."
on the screen.
A beautiful figure in red walked onto the pier.
Natasha.
She didn't carry any weapons, not even the Rider Card Box she used to transform.
She crossed her arms, her high heels clicking crisply on the metal floor, and stopped in front of the glass cage.
"I also think you're oversimplifying things, Loki."
Natasha's voice was calm, yet it carried a chill.
Loki turned around, looked at the beautiful agent, and a hint of amusement flashed in his eyes.
"Oh, look who's here."
Loki approached the glass wall with that unsettling, sticky smile on his face.
"Trying to trick me into revealing information?" Loki sneered. "For that agent named Patton? I heard he was your mentor?"
Natasha's eyes flickered slightly when Patton was mentioned.
"You think you can save him?" Loki keenly caught this point. "No, you can't save anyone."
"Your bloody past..."
Loki relentlessly reopened Natasha's wounds, attempting to break down her psychological defenses.
"You will watch him die in agony, just like the people you have killed in the past."
Loki became more and more excited as he spoke, the thrill of controlling people's minds making him forget the pain in his body.
however.
He did not see the expected breakdown or anger on Natasha's face.
in contrast.
The woman suddenly laughed.
It was a very strange smile, like watching a clown putting on a great show.
"Are you done talking?"
Natasha sighed softly, then slowly raised her right hand and made a fist.
"Actually, I didn't come here today to try and get information out of you."
Natasha tilted her head, a pink glint flashing in her emerald eyes.
"I'm here to collect some interest for Barton..."
Loki frowned. "What do you mean? You're behind this glass, so how could you possibly...?"
puff!
A muffled thud.
Before Loki could finish speaking, his cheek felt as if it had been struck hard by some invisible hammer!
He spun 360 degrees in mid-air and crashed heavily into the glass wall behind him.
"Ugh!"
Loki slid to the ground, covered his face, and looked around in horror.
no one!
He was all alone in the cage!
"Who?! Who is it?!"
Loki frantically waved his arms, trying to scare away the unseen enemy.
Natasha, standing outside, simply watched quietly, her right hand waving again.
In the void behind her.
A humanoid Stand, covered in pink and white armor with heart-shaped markings and possessing explosive muscle lines, slowly emerged.
Crazy Diamonds
This is the power she drew from the gashapon machine.
Stand users can only be seen by those who also possess a Stand.
"Beep!"
With a low shout from Natasha's heart.
Crazy Diamond's enormous fist pierced through the glass and slammed into Loki's abdomen.
Bang! ! !
Loki arched his back like a shrimp once again, his eyes practically bulging out of their sockets.
pain!It hurts so much!
This is not magic at all!
It's still an invisible physical attack!
"What...what did you do?!"
Loki lay on the ground, blood trickling from his mouth, staring in terror at Natasha standing outside the glass.
The mortal woman didn't move.
But those furious, torrential punches landed squarely on his body.
"It's nothing."
Natasha lowered her hand, smoothed a stray hair behind her ear, and gave a charming smile.
"I'm just giving you a full-body massage, hoping to... clear your head of all your scheming thoughts."
Inside the command center.
Li Ang watched as Loki was being beaten up by thin air, when he suddenly heard the voices of the people behind him getting louder and louder.
"Fury, please explain what this weapon is all about?"
"Do you want to destroy this planet?"
